This game is the Best as far as gameplay but lacks managerial options off the pitch. | | A gamer from Chicago, IL says (27/Jan/2002): | Well, it looks as though FIFA has done it once more. The people at EA have created the most realistic playing and looking football game ever. The graphics are incredible and the play is even better, a moderatley skilled gamer would have trouble making his team look like a world class club. A gamer may look like over 300 world class teams. There is also many chalenges to explore, there are rewards for winnig tourneys which unlock other tourneys. There is also a custimization station were players may create teams players and tournements all for use in the game. That was my personal favorite option. Being not only a virtual player of soccer I am also on a ameature soccer club. Therefore I can appritate the realisim of this game. There is so much playing depth it is really incredible. Unfortunetly as deep as I found the playing to be i found the Managerial options to be, well shallow. You could only complete one season with the controler pack, this was a big disapointment. Although tradeing and signing of players was easy and somewhat detailed the computer had no tradeing AI this was also disapointing, I also found this to be an easy way of acquiring players, for example if one wanted Shearer all one must do is trade for him the computer will not bar the trade. Ask and you will receive. That was the only thing i could find wrong with this excellent version of FIFA.
