hard game |
| element from Austin, Texas, USA says (17/May/2004): |
This is a very good game i like to make my own characters to make the look all stupid and getting wolverine. I gave it a 8 out of 10 becaue i hate doing some of the $#< remove me > at !in hard tricks and the fake blood that they have when they fall it looks fake but making your own park is the only reason I bought the game I don't even like skateboarding or the music.

kool game but |
| MuNkY from England says (22/May/2003): |
This is just another tony hawks game. Its exactly the same as 1 and 2. Its a mixture of them both. There are more moves better characters and some very kool special characters for example woolverine and darth maul. The same cheats are on it. The levels have got no bigger. The specials are the same. The only thing that has changed is the graphics. They have taken it from the playstation and landed it in a gamecube and put better graphics with it. Its good for a while but its the same old time limits, tasks and collect skate bollocks again. its the same so dont buy it unless you are collescting these games. Unfortuatly i bought this game for £35. (ripoff) Wait till you play tony hawks 4 now thats a skating game.

a great laugh |
| will from rutland, uk says (15/Feb/2003): |
this is one of those games where you can sit down with your mates and enjoy the competition for hours on end! the one player mode is decent and the change of clothes makes a great difference. The game is great if you want to sit down for a few minutes and play something fun, but if it was played hours on end it would become repetative. great soundtracks, a decent buy!

Very Sweet Game |

Mellow |
| Samuel gustaf Haves from San Francisco, California , USA says (1/Dec/2002): |
Thi game was very mellow, it wasent extremely bad, and it wasent extremely good. Its kinda hoovering there right in the middle, soon to be forgotten. Even though i agree that the gameplay is much better then the playstation, they could of done much better with this game, were they expanded was in tony hawk 4, which i would suggest to get, i believe still that the greatest was the first for 64. thats just my opinion, and im always right.

One very Good game |
| john from Chester City Uk England says (16/Nov/2002): |
When I bought this game i was'nt shaw but as soon as i started playing, That was that it stayed in the Cube for a month. The levels have got so much to keep you occupied from grinding tree's to roof tops its got all you want in a skate boarding game. There are pleanty of little goodies to earn such as the pro bailes videos and the extra characters like oliy the bum. The trick system was a bit weird to master at first being only able to get about 15 thousand a go. But when you get to that all important 1000,000 or above you know you've certainly achieved something. The Graphics are quite smooth but it has a couple of noticeable glitches but dont let that turn you of. If you want a challange it is deffiantly worth its money and soon theres Tony hawk 4 which looks even better way to spend youre money.

sweet !! |
| cow_jacker from calgary,canada says (6/Jul/2002): |
The game was alright i gave it a 9 on 10 some of the levels are kind of weird but other then that, the graphics and everything are the bomb (cool) there are tons of new tricks and all of the levels are new but i have heard of some peep who find it to easy. If you are thinking of buying a new game and dont have this game yet make sure to buy it!

The Best!!!!!! |
| A gamer from Eugene, Oregon says (19/Apr/2002): |
I own THPS3 the best Tony Hawk game there is that is out right now. Even if you have beaten it once getting all goals you can do it again and again to unlock secrets. Also the create a skater has a lot of new possibilities. The levels have also gotten better not only the graphics (which may I add are amazing) but also the goals have gotten more challenging. The tricks now have gotten better. I know that this is a little strange for me to be saying but I think it enhanced the gameplay and made it more realistic that there are little (or big) blood puddles or splashes on the wall that make it more realistic. Even though the levels are based on THPS2 they still have gotten better. I know that I should of put this up where I talked about the levels but the competitions have gotten better for instance the Tokyo one has this one place where if you grind you get to tis HUGE halfpipe also the skater island level has a secret area with a pirate ship and you can actually go on it and ast but not least the first one (the name slips my mind right now) has a wooden fence you can break through.... Or is that somewhere else anyway on my Tony hawk Pro Skater rating it gets
Tricks: 10
Levels: 10
Graphics: 10
Secret Characters: 10
Secret Levels: 10
Everything else: 10
Total: 10

Tony Hawk rules on the Gamecube |
| Bruno Costa from México City says (21/Dec/2001): |
I have recently bought a Gamecube and a THPS3 game disk and I´ve no regrets at all. This is the COOLEST skateboarding game ever, awesome graphics, huge parks, soft control and an excellent soundtrack featuring the deftones, red hot chili peppers and more, plenty of tricks (all kind of tricks, from a casual kickflip to "the jackass", thanks to the adittion of Bam Margera, selectable among the others pros at the begining, thanks god!), not to mention the sound (it can´t be mentioned, you REALLY have to listen to it).
What I like the most are the graphics, this time you´re not gonna see even a tinny little pixel on a surface, instead, you are going to see every tinny little scratch on a wall for example, or the snowflake that has dropped on your board (I´m not kidding it´s true), anyway, you really have to play it so you can say "this guy is telling the truth, this is awesome!!!"
