I heard Ash Ketchem say something about some team called team rocket i've never heard of them before well I would like to see them in the game who ever they are! And everyone pikachu is not good if you like her your stupid! And crazy people like Mewtwo that charicter is stupid never heard of it in other games. The stronger charicters are cool not baby charicters like pikachu that's a stupid charicter. Luigi is the coolist and stupid people say waluigi is in the game he is not stupids!And if you think i'm stupid look in a mirror and you'll see that you are i'm the best player in the world Ah ha ha ha ha!!!!

I love this game!!!!!! The graphics are awesome! My favorite characters are Zelda/Shiek and Pikachu. The fun never stops, because you can do all sorts of different things! All Star, Melee, Classic, and Adventure modes can keep you playing for that thrill! The sound/music is good to! Nobody can beat me!!! Everyone has tried! I love using motion sensor bombs, they never know what hit em'! This game is something you gotta' get (if you don't all ready!)

I liked this game a lot because you could be so many different characters unlike the first one where you could only be like 11 people. that's gay. i like how one person has an exact copy of him only he looks different and the moves have different attacks. like marth and roy, capton falcon-fruitcake, and ganandorf. mario and dr. mario and luigi. people like that. i think that's pretty cool and i can't wait for the third one to come out because there are going to be about thirty five people in it if they are going to make it. i like how there are so many different types of gameplay like three different types of one player mode and i like getting trophies and how you can keep on getting new ones. well, if you have the first one and liked it then you will love the second one because it's a whole lot better.

All-Star you of course get trophys but you get the trophys in a different color than usally!

with pikachu i'm a winner! she or he is the best player! i was fighting samus when i thundershocked him and in one hit he ko'd so that must mean pikachu is the best player! i have unlocked walugi he's a great fighter he uses karate! so get this game now! and pick pikachu i had just got this game 2 days ago and have 178 championships! bye guys!!!

I like this game it has cool charactars like Mario,Luigi,Link and Pikachu! Mario Kong Foo's there ass! Luigi does to! Link Swings his sword but kinda sucks though.Pikachu Shocks there ass!!! why they put that idiot waluigi or whatever did i spell it wrong, in the game? but althogh this game will get kinda boring over the years i rent my games and systems at movie gallary they have gamecube and xbox i have pc and ps2.I GIVE this game 9 stars this is a funny game but there's not much action except mario and his bro and pikachu are the most exciting!stupid yoshi beat me ones when i was luigi. all the girls at school love pikachu the pokemon.

Hi I'm Ash Ketchem Owner of Pikachu,Jigglypuff,Celebi,and Mewtwo! The only thing that was left out in this game was team rocket and meouth to bad. james could have kicked in this game and jessie could wrap her long red hair around her enemies and meouth would use fury swipes attack or maybie they should shoot rockets ha ha! great game without them anyway! I Hope Nintendo is reading this cause i want them in Smash Bros.3!

This game is awesome!!!!! it's far better than the original( which the moves were very limited compared to the new one)! Whoever bashes this game has no idea what their talking about ( or is really really bad at it!). This game is great! has all the best stars from nintendo! Its my favorite game, no one can beat me in it! fo real everyone i know tried( like 25 people)! The best character has to be mario, because he is all around good! let me explain, there are characters which are really fast, but weak ( marth) or very strong but slow( bowser)while mario is all around good! Adventure mode, and all starmode, in the game was a great addition to ssbm ( super smash bros.melee)
The graphics are great, the fun factor never ends, because you can keep on inproving with the level 9 in melee mode! The sound its greatly done, the originality is actually preety well done, using all the best characters of nintendo! This is all why i love this game and cant stop playing it!
WELL DONE, THIS GAME IS GREATLY DONE AND MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE HISTORY OF NINTENDO!

This game was going to get a 10/10 especially since there were 13 new characters, But why did it get a 9? Because 12 of those 13 are exact replicas of the oringinal characters. This made me a little dissapointed, but not much.The graphics are solid, the sounds are amazing, the fighting style makes me crawl to my nintendo gamecube and bow down to it. This game is much better then the N64 version. The story mode, the adventure mode is different for most characters, which gives it an amazing single player mode. Even mode is amazing. There's tons and I mean tons of gameplay in this game. If you want to unlock everything, you will need to spend atleast 30 hours of gameplay, but if you take shortcuts of unlocking things(yes ther are more than 1 way to unlock things) you will cut it down to about 20. I took the shortcut. I love inviting my friends over and having tournaments. Thats what makes this game amazing. I still use the same character i did in the N64 version, which is Fox. Some people think he sucks, but i beat THREE LEVEL 9'S against me with him. and no, not th wussies liek pikachu and jigglupuff, i'm talkin about samus, Captian Falcon and Ness. Whats great in this game is the computers are much smarter and difficlut to beat, i can't beat 3 level 9's yet, but i'll work on it. The game introduces new moves, like up+z and down+z, and even a new special move, Smash B( thats forward+B on the controller). The also new charge attck. If u hold A u can increase the damage you do on your attacks, unlike the N64 version. This game is one of the games that is keeping nintendo in business and is an original classic Multiplayer brawl that you and your friends and family can enjoy, or if your an only child or a loner you can enjoy it by yourself.(your not a loner, are you O_o!?)Get it now, if you don't have it(you do have it, dont you O_o!?)

This game is the best game in the whole wide world.I would give this game 100 stars if I could.I have 999 coins all trophies I even cleared events 1-51.Fox is my favorite character,he kicks butt!Their's a rumor that you could win Sonic and Tails on this game by defeating 20 wire frames in cruel mellee.Don't believe it,I saw a issue that came out April which is on April fools day that you can win Sonic & Tails.These graphics are 3-D,that rock's!
I know how to play as Master Hand!Its sooooo easy. just clear classis mode in the difficulty in very hard without using a continue.To play as toad beat adventure in very hard diffuculty without using a continue than when you finish hit every single credit.

ssbm was great but in i think king.k kruel,diddy,dixie,young zelda,sonic,wario,warluigi, and daisy should be in it. and WAY cooler items i mean,it's fun to kill stuff with the all powerful hammer but it you could have homing missiles than would be perfect and finally more trophies.

this is the ultimate in gaming. i love this game but i wish it had more characters stages and stuff. i get bored sometimes because i bet the game so quickly but all and all this is the best out there!i love the whole smash moves concept and the fact they gave every one 1 new move

Much better than its predecessor, hell there's no way N64 Smash Bros could be compared to Melee!! Having such variety of characters, simplicity in moves, and lots and lots of fun and laughs (specially when playing with your friends on a Free for all or in Team Battle), it has undoubtedly become one of the best of the best fighting games in history (along with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and KOF 2000).I gave this game a 9 though because no game is perfect and it has some minor flaws, nothing too important. It would have been better if all characters had had a different fighting style instead of copying techniques (Marth/Roy, Y.Link/Link, C.Falcon/Ganondorf, etc) I understand Mario and Luigi have a similar fighting style (kinda like Ryu and Ken) so I really don't know why a character like Dr. Mario is there when an upgraded Mario would have been enough and where a brand new character like Pit (Kid Icarus) or Little Mac (Punch Out!) could have been. All in all, the game is pure fun but these details should not be skipped.

SSBM has all of the stuff that made Smash Bros on the N64 great, and with decent graphics, too! Some of the more 'kiddy' characters (eg, pokemon, ness, young link, etc.) are frustrating, but you can still have plenty of fun with Capt. Falcon, Samus, and the Fire Emblem team (not to mention Dr Mario).
The retro stages and music from old games make a really great background to the games premise of thumping each other into orbit, and the addition of the 'stadium' and adventure game modes give it much more single-player lifespan than the first.
Way to go Nintendo!
