This game is awsome! I mean hey characters from other games, kick bad characters butts , two giant evil monster hands that want to kill you, a gigantic Bowser with glowing eyes. My favorite part about this game is unlocking Mr. Game and Watch. He's the best player in the game even though some people might think that Mewtwo is, but Mr Game and Watch can just absorb his shadowballs with his B down attack. Falco is also very good. In the temple he can just dash from platform to platform and if someone tries to attack you from far away, just use his B down attack and it will deflect that attack back at them. Mewtwo and Ganondorf make a great team, because you can just use disable to paralyze your opponents and then use Ganondorf's Warlock Punch (his B attack)to knock them right out of the arena. then theres Marth and Roy who can charge up their swords and use counter and they also put Young Link in SSBM faster then the real Link but weaker them except for his flaming arrows Luigi is relative to Pikachu with his B over attack DR.Mario is alot like Mario the only difference is the B attack and the outfit. three words BUY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`m glad that they put Mewtwo on the game.He rocks!!!He teleports,he throws ShadowBalls,and he does a powerful TailWhip!I can kick anybody`s butt with Mewtwo.You can only get him if you play the game for 24 or 12 hours.On the next one,I hope they still have Mewtwo.He will probably have new attacks on the next one.Mewtwo even floats in the air!Is that cool or what!

this game is the best game in the world there is probaly no other game other then soulcailiber2 that mattches this games greatness and by the way here is something that every one should no the only secretcharacters these characters are labbled in order and are said how to get em jiggilypuff beatclassic mode any lives dr. mario beat classic mode with mario any lives suggested 5 lives unlock younlink first beat the game with link 15 times younglink has more powerful arrows falco beat 100man melee character recomended donkeykong keep useing his down and b move now unlock pichu by succefully completeing one of the event matches ps chuck pokeballs at pichu to win the event battle unlock ganondorff by completeing the event match tri force gathering to get ganondorff unlock marth by completeing the game with every orriginal character marth is a very cool character he is the quickest character in the game and is very hard to play as once you learn link try conqureing marth and now its time to get roy beat the game as marth roy is now play able now it is time to get mewtwo he is the most easiest character to get first go into vs mode and then go into options then turn off every item turn on no time then to free for all after that plug in 4 controllers and pick all characters link after that play the hyrule level then just leave the game on for 1 day dont play super smash bros or n e other games ethier or the code wont work and plus the next day u will be having fun with mewtwo now it is time for the final character mr gamandwatch can easily be unlocked by beating the target test with every character or by beating classic mode with every character

This must the the best GCN game to come out! The graphics, gameplay, and control are super! Though, there is one thing that I can't beat. Event Match 51: The Showdown. Once you beat that you get Final Destination and the Final Destination trophy. You also get chances of getting Celibi and the Celibi trophy when you complete every thing. Anyway Super Smash Bros. sucks compared to SSBM.

ssbm is an excellent game the graphics are amazing the voices of the characters are good except from one character and thats fox once i started playing it i could not stop playing it i think falco is mega cool i love doing smash attacks i would give this 10 out of 10 with 4 words YOU MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best GCN games ever. It really gets you involved. The trill is just the best. Especially when you unlock a new carachter. The stages are mostly all really good but some of my freinds don't like the "Flat Zone". I myself have unlocked all of the hidden characters. However sometimes you have to play in V.S mode lots and lots of times to unlock a character. For example to unlock "Mew Two" you must play in V.S mode 701 time to unlock him. Althow it is very satisfying when it tackes a long time to unlock a new character. However all in all it is the one of the best games ever in the Nintendo Game Cube World.

I love how you can get different chars from beating certian lvl's or playing a certain amount of time! i highly recomend this awesome game it rocsk so much i might die!!!!!!! ill give it about 100 mill gold stars. HEy i like this game and it is toatally awsome good mulplayer and tons of mode but the only problem is WHo the heck is the fricking hand guy on classic mode. so any way it is a must have game!!!!!!!!! Also it has a toatal of 25 charcters and but you have to unlocked 15 new characters. It is a awsome game im telling you man and i have two words for you BUY IT!!!

I really like the game. You get Dr.Mario, Ganandorf, Zelda,Samus and all these other people. When I got I was so happy cause i heard its a really good game . You have classic and adventure mode ( adventure mode takes like 25 minutes to do) Its really cool. If another Super Smash bros. game comes out im goin to get it

I really like the game because it has so many things to do. It's my favorite game. It has so many characters and places. It also has many diffrent challenges and beating the game (which in my opinion is getting all places and characters) isn't really easy. Very good game.

i don't have this game but i have played it and as soon as i saw what the characters could do my mouth would have opened so much it could go out of the attic window touch the ground and still be trying to go down, my faveroute char is kirby cuz you can take the powers of any opponent!!Once i played multiplayer and i tryed to get a load of kirbys to eat each other!I wonder if any one will make "super smash bros. melee 2" here is what i would give if if i could:100

ssbm is the best but-kickin game ever! my favorite team to use is luigi and mario. before i got the game, i always played my friends. plus, i just love marth&roys charge atacks! my skill is so amazing, i beat 3 level 9s! if you love characters such as luigi or mario, you NEED this game!

This is a perfect example of why the gamecube is the best. Because of games like this: Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In terms of gameplay this is one of the best games I have ever played. With 11 characters to earn, 11 stages to earn, and almost 300 trophies, this game has kept me very busy. Lifespan of game, a whole life(span).
The graphics are brilliant. The characters are stunning, the levels are fantastic, and the trophies are an absolute pleasure to look at, each with detailed features. Even a special mode allows you to take a 360 view of the trophies.
The sound was a part that let me down. The sound effects with characters like mewtwo were awful and I felt the characters voices didn't match the characters. Fortunately Smash Bros. saved themselves from a poor sound report by having a sound test mode which could be earned throughout the game. It features characters voices, backround music, and sound effects.
Originality: Perfect. Some of the earnable levels in the game were old favorites. To keep the N64 feel, many of these levels had a 2D background, as like the first version.
Personally, I give this game a 9/10, and leave you with three words; BUY BUY BUY!

This is the funneast game I've ever played in my whole life! I give it 11 out of ten stars. Go me! The graphics are perfect, beating the crud out of my friends is addictively fun, and no one in the world can stop me! BWA HA HA!! You know what? I have somethiung tos tell you other gamers. Pikachu is NOT THE BEST CHARACTER!! Kirby is thee all time best person in the whole game. Go Kirby!! This game ROCKS! BWA HA HA!!

Super Smash Brothers Melle is a delightful gaming experience that has been named in my books, in th top 10. The idea of having secret chacraters to unlock is ingeiniuse and my favourite chacater is Young link. It is a good game that should be enjoyed by all. I believe that many people think that it is boring because there is nothing new in it. BUT they are completly wrong.
