I got the game on dreamcast and gamecube. The levels are fun the upgrades are cool and SHADOW IS THE BEST. The graphics is way better than Sonic Adventure 1 on dreamcast. The bosses are great (e.g shadow final), but i don't like it when shadow dies. The sound of Radical highway is cool.The multiplayer is alson very good. Especially some of the attacks.This game is great and u should get it if u like platform games.

out of all of my sonic games which are sonic heroes,sonic mega collection,sonic adventure dx,and sonic adventure 2, Sa2 is the best!my favorite characters are knuckles,shadow,and sonic.the 1 and only character i hate is eggman.he is soo fat that in 1 off my dreams,he busted the Impire State Building.anyways,the chao world is what i do the most.out of the 2 years i played, about 10 chaos died.i know how to make a chao the looks like chaos from sonic dx.u go to the black market and bye a shiny sky blue egg,make it to a neutral chao(if u pet alot it would evolve faster).then when it evolves and haves the glowing orange ball thingy above its head,it would look like chaos.usually if u give a chaos drive or an animal to the chao, you can only do it once but if u drop an chaos drive or animal about a lenght of a cocounut away you can use it more than once.once i did this all day long my chao's running level went to level 100 and still a baby!by the time it was a dark superchao,everything was level 100 but the stemina.on city escape to get 999 rings,go to level 3(find the lost chao),get as much rings u can an when u get to the big truck part go a little slow an so will the truck.get all the coins possible and when u go to the end instead of goal,it would say back and let u restart.keep doing this until you get 999 rings then get the lost chao.(mystic melody required).since i did this i got 1,015,000 rings know.when you get about 2000000 rings, bye an item that costs 2000000 rings then take the item to any chao garden then save and exit.
go back to chao world and get the item,sell it back to the black market and u will get 5000 rings back then when it says cha ching restert the game.when u go back to chao world,u will still have the item and the 5000 rings you got back.keep doing this as much as u want and u will have lots of rings($.$)!!thats all i have to say.i hope you try.bye bye!o

i just wanted to say that what ever people say about shadow i have to say from all the characters he is the best because he can move as fast as sonic looks just like him the only difference is he is black and red people say sonic is faster than shadow only because he has little holes in his shoes that is one of the only difference between the pair of super fast hedgehogs. the thing i love about shadow is the color he changes in to when he turns in to super shadow he looks amazing. my freind steffan all ways tries to say sonic is better when i dont care because it is his oppinion all the shadow fans who agrees with me?

This game is really awesome, but not BEST in graphics. They're good, yet sometimes a little lumpy where it is supposed to be round. But most likely graphics don't come into play here. it has incredible music too. I like the way they got songs that actually sounded not so bleepy here! The Chao thing is fun, but I myself scarcely go to Chao Garden. I love the fact that you can be good or evil (face it, you all want the baddies to win!!!). This makes this game interesting as well. Fun? Definately. It won't get old until you do everything, and that will take a while...Also, 2-player mode is a blast.:P. Now to originality. You're going to find it here because the different characters that add atmosphere to the whole game. Some things that can be confusing at first, though, is the fact that the game is from the two side's point of view. MEANING that the same thing is happening, no matter what occurs. (even though slight changes do occur, the end result is the same and it's like a draw). Value...well, I'll let you be the judge of that by the rest of this review, but still I say super. In conclusion, I give this game a 9. Buy it!

Wow! Sonic Aventure 2 was the coolest gamecube game ever. I loved the game becuase the movies and gameplay. It really makes you remeber how sonic has changed over the last decade and how many video games he has put out, and if sonic has made it this far... Duh the game gotta be worth playing! It has all the same level up stuff from part one, and a ton more! I simply loved the game, and you will too.

One of the first things I like about the this game is that it would make a good movie or cartoon series. It plays like the movie with those scenes, and i love the last part of the game the most. Chaos are cool and cute, and the game is challenging enough, yet operates with simple controls. The music is great as all Sonic Team games are, but The really have to do something about the voices and the singers, although I thought the voices of Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge and Eggman were OK, as well as the lyrics in a few Knux raps The camera angles give problems still, but not often enough to get too upset. There is enough in this gfame to play for a loooong time. I give it an 8 out of 10

I gave this game an eight because I thought that the graphics were O.K. and the voice was fine, but the thing that I seemed to have trouble with was the levels. They get really hard after the 4th or 5th level. I am a big Sonic fan and that's what made me check this out and I ended up enjoying it, however I spent most of my time in the Chao garden trying to rais my Chao to the maximum. The problem is the only thing that you can gain without going anywhere is the nuts. In the other games I hope that the gardens get more and more bigger and concentrate more on the chaos and count it as an extra game, not a mini-game but an extra game. Or even make a game just about chaos! Now that is the best idea I have ever had! ........Shadow is a pretty good charater. And Sonic is a trademark. Metal Sonic should be one of the adventure charaters. I hope other people agree with me. If there is another Sonic game it should include most of what I just said. And that is what makes me give this game an eight.

Shadow is the greatest. by the way, he didn;t die, it showed him falling to earth in his SUPER form. so he was invincible when he fell, which is why he is in Sonic heroes. Anyways, this is better than Sonic DX. It has a better story, way more emblems. Supersonic and SuperShadow stage is the most amazing thing ever. Raising chao is alot more fun in this game then it is in sonic dx. better music, and sound. Waht sucks is that Tails is in his tornando instaed of flying around and beating levels, other than that, everything is amazing. Thank you Sonic team.

I think Sonic Adventure2 Battle is pretty cool. I really like the chao world. I have the hero, chao, and dark gardens. I also have all 180 emblems. Anyway, my favorite part of the game is the final boss. It's cool when Sonic and Shadow turn into their superforms. I know just about every secret the game. The secret I'm trying to figure out is about the superchao. I know that to get the normal superchao, transform a normal chao twice, give it all 21 animals, give it more than 5 chao fruits, and then when it evolves, you should get a normal superchao. To get the hero superchao, do the same thing only make it a hero chao and give it more than 5 hero fruits. To get the dark superchao, do the same thing only make it a dark chao and give it more than 5 dark fruits. this should work. I'm going to get all 3 superchao. I have around 21 chao right now. 2 of them died. To me it's very sad to have a chao die because I care a lot my about my chao. Right now about all of them like Sonic. My favorite thing to do in the game is raise my chao. Who ever came up with the idea of chao is a genius. I hope this helps you.

Sonic adventure 2 battle is one of the best games i ever played but the levels are way two short. But still even dough there short, there still kind of hard, and thats what's keeping this game alive. What really suprised me in this game was that after you beat story mode with good and bad you uncover a completly new level in story mode. Shadow my friend everyone will miss you and the world thanks you.

I love this game!!!!!!! SonicTeam you are the best!!!!!! This game has lots of cool stuff to do. I stay hours trying to get all 180 Emblems. Its so much fun! But what I like more is that you can raise a Chao!!!! Yay!!! I can't wait to the other Sonic game comes out!!!! ^_^

I am a GIGANTIC Sonic and Knuckles fan! I was waitin for Sonic to make and appearance on Nintendo systems! I really like everyones new ablities, especially Mystic Melody. My fave part though, is the chao raising. Mine is increadible! Ive only had it for a week and I already love it!!! I love the grinding a lot too. But the best part of it is, I can link my super powerful chao on my game boy! Overall, the graphics, sound effects, life span, fun factor, and value are a THUMBS UP TIMES 500!!!!

Greatest game I ever played not just on GCN (Gamecube) but for any system. I loved the gameplay, the music, everything. A great fast-paced, fast-action game. The story line was the best I ever seen for a Sonic game, and the graphics are far better than the first Sonic Adventure. The Chao garden's better, too, especially with the GBA (Gameboy Advanced) to GCN link-up. I liked the game so much, I beat it several times in a few weeks. Like I said- Just that freakin' amazing.

Although I haven't completed the game yet, I really enjoy playing. My favorite part is the Chao, because I successfully raised a Hero Chao in a matter of 3 or 4 days. It may seem like a long time, but for me? I don't care. My Chao Angel has Level 72 Stamina, so she's my pick for any race.
As for all of you out there, Mystic Melody for Eggman is in Lost Ocean. :)
Anyways, I would be fine if you never got to play as Eggman. He's too fat. I prefer Rouge and Tails, because they are very versatile characters. Rouge can glide, climb, run, dig, swim,jump, and kick. Tails can fly (in the chao garden), hover, shoot,and jump, although you don't get very far jumping in the Tornado, do you?
Most of the time, when I play Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, I'm only in it for the Chao. In fact, my whole family is only in it for the Chao, except for one, who gives me tips while I play a few stages on Story Mode. Hey, with 6 people sharing a game, that's a lot of Chao! But it's worth it, because this is the first game we've been able to keep for who-know's-how-long without someone deleteing it to play Madden Football.
The graphics are delicious, and I adore the backround music, so this game is probably the best Sonic the Hedgehog game yet. And I know Sonic, my old babysitter used to own a Genisis, and she had a Sonic game.
As for each character's part in Stoary Mode, (I may not be throoughly correct, because I haven't quite finished the dark side yet) I can give my opinon. For first timers to finding the Master Emerald, stick to the Hero Side. If my sources (and my family) are correct, from what I know and what I've played, Knuckles is almost NEVER timed! Sonic, well, what do you expect? high-speed, fast-paced cources, that sometimes have so much to look at you spend 13 minutes staring at the scenery. Tails, although your my favorite, I like your courses the least. Whatever happened to flying for a change? Why does he have to be cooped up in the Torando? Rouge, her levels, though not often timed, are one of my favorites. I can't really explain it, if you follow my lead (Follow me, set me free, trust in me we'll escape from the city!) Sorry, singing again. Anyways, Shadow is hardly ever played in the Dark Side, and I mean it. Throughout this whoel time, I've only played him maybe twice. Eggman. Let's just not talk about it. I hate Eggman, and that's final.
if you don't mind, I'm gonig to talk about Chao again.
Chao, in my mind, are innocent, and peaceful. Once, my little brother hatched a Dark Chao, but soon somebody deleted our game, ruining little Chalulu. So, of course, he's trying to help me raise a Dark Chao, so he can take rule of the Dark Garden. I curently am owner of the Neutral Garden.
My favorite part about Chao? They don't seem to die in the first 5 minutes that you play, like the SA1 for Dreamcast. Unfortunately, I found that they CAN die. Shame one you, Sonic Team/Sega. Chao are not suposed to die! In my opinon, they are too cute to perish! If you make an Sa3, delete the Chao death, why don't you?
All-in-all, SA2 Battle is the best Sonic game yet. Except for the death of Chao.

Sega has provided another great Sonic game! The game play is great and even if you finish it you have to go back to collect the other emblems! THEY HAVE A SON!!!!!!! his name is mattimeo "matt" prower. i also no that chaos dont really die unless u r mean to them . go to the doctor . get a checkup and see how old your chao is. if its 1 you are doing good. but it will die when it turns 5 . if u were nice 2 your chao it will reincarnate and come back if you reincarnate the chao 3 times give it 1 of each 21 animals when t reincarnates one last time it will evolve into the immortal chaos chao

Actually there are 2 new characters and a load more multi-plyer levels. If you didn't have or play this game when it was out for Dreamcast, this is a really good chance to pick up the second-time around for Gamecube.
