This game is kool. racing round like your mum. crashing in to on comeing traffic, flying of bridges and onto the sidewalk. Its been improved for the gamecube and Xbox but what have they improved. Firstly the graphics are 10x better than the ps2. The cars look a lot better and even more in 2 player mode. The traffic is more intelligent swerving out of your way or swerving in to you. The cpu players try to ram you off the road. You try to ram them in to on coming traffic. There are 10 cars to chose from including the roadster and even a bus. This game is kool not only because of the game play but because of the arcade feel of the game. Its breath taking stuff. The Idea being you get to the end of the track without getting smashed up. The further you get the better. You win cars and new levels. and for the first time the levels are realistic and better. They make you wanna drive round and smash cars. Its a game anyone acn play and you'll love it.

I just bought the game today and it is alot of fun. Quite easy too if you know what your doing. The graphics during gameplay are not great but there decent. You go so fast you don't have time to look at things except for cars and the road. Sounds are good too, no problem there. I personally think that Burnout is more fun when playing with a friend. Back to the main point of me posting this review, this game would be 30 times better if there is some way to take the friggin' clock off the game. Then you can really cause some accidents. You can go explore and do crazy things and even plan accidents to happen. Just throwing ideas out basically. Other than the time problem I have with the game, its a good game. Your your a race fanatic, get this game.

Burnout is da bomb!!!
Crashing and smashing with a SUPERMINI,SPORTS COUPE,ROADSTER,SALOON,MUSCLE,TOW TRUCK,BUS, or a SALOON GT.This game is more than just a ordinary racing game it calls out the word "DEATH FIELD".Its a demolition derby.So heres what I like about this game.First I like to rack up insurance damage points. My favorite tracks are GRIDLOCK USA, RUSH HOUR, and MIDNIGHT RUN.
I like to use SUPER MINI, THE ROADSTER and THE MUSCLE for cars.
Believe me, I think you'll like this game, fan of racing games or not. It made a believer outta me!

I Love this game. Because of the stop lights that go red and then green, that is the best! And the turn signals. The side roads are really cool! And the thing I do not like about this game is the time. I like to rome around and stop at the stop lights and go at green. But because of time, that makes the game a little disapointing. But a little time is fine. But not the whole game! I also dont like how some of the side roads are blocked with green arrows. Other than that, this game is so cool!!!

This game isn't as true to life as I would have wanted but it certanily is a step in the right direction. with ony five cars to choose from (in the beginning) it really leaves you wanting...
however the game play is good so that makes up for it...
would be nice if a racing game would let you built your own car. you know pick your wheels and tires, body style, crap like that makes games fun

i rented burnout this weekend and had a good bit of fun with it. it is an excellent game with good graphics and decent sound. i recommend renting it because i was able to beat it in about 4 days with a large amount of effort. if you like easy to beat games then youll love burnout. only getting 9 cars total kind of sucks though. the multiplayer is good too. i would definitly recommend renting it.

I Think this game has amazing graphics. The arrows at the side of the road the get in the way of the graphics a bit but does not spoil the gameplay. The cars are detailed and even more in the crashes. This is an arcade game not a simulator. Its supposed to be fun and anyone can play it. Peaople who are not into racing games will love the arcade feel of the game. I love it so will you

The game is STUPID! Im glad my friend bought this and not me. What a rippoff! this game is no where near other driver games in game play abilities. Throw this game into the abyss! I will throw mine off the arch in St. Louis one day. this game is overpriced and not worth a stinkin penny! At $5.00 I got ripped off.

I have played BurnOut to death now i still think it the best racing game ever.
The only reason the other reviews are bad is because the other people like to have a game that they can finish the first night they buy it. The graphics arnt great but the gameplay is unreal. It's a game that definetly worth buying.
