You guys say some pretty dumb stuff this games was ok not great but neither were any, ANY! of the smackdown games. the reason being that yukes is a terrible developer. You may notice the best games for N64 were made by AKI, and all smackdowns by yukes. when did the nintendo games start to suck you ask? I'll tell you. It was when yukes got the full contract to make WWE games, this games was still playable and alright but theres no point in comparing it to smackdown because its exactly the same (except for modes) but those change in every single wrestling game there is.
In conclusion go pluck yourselves. n64 games = score of 10
wrestlemania 18 = 6 Wrestlemania 19 = 7
WWE Day of reckoning = 9.5 love the new options and perfect i mean perfect create a wrestler but nothing will EVER beat the n64 games

first of all almost all of the superstars on the game don't have their original special! for instance when is the last time any body see trish stratus do the sweet chin music? u should only have that move if shawn michaels is gonna be on the game.and since when did stacy keibler have the fame-asser u should only have that move if billy gunn is gonna be on the game.and i never seen stephanie Mcmahon do the pedigree{what the hell}.u cant have a guest referee match like no mercy. and a wwe game is not the same without a bra and panties match.another flipped up part about this game is you cant even make a person bleed. u cant hit em with chairs,poles,tables,ladders,a

Ok its a pretty decent game. but i mean god Booker T looks like a Cabbage (and the music???), And Mighty Molly became a non mongolated superhero at Wrestlemaina X8 so (As Hurricane wuld say) Whats up with that? and my favourite team, the nWo, is left with terrible poor music. The CAW system is average, pretty crap faces etc. . And to diss this game even more, 5 moves, i mean c'mon 5 poopy moves that have no affect! on the Smackdown games u can do 16 butt kickin moves! and did DDP suddenly die when they made this game? Cos I mean didn't he defend his European Title at X8? against that crybaby Christian? and there missing all the good characters, and why would you want to unlock Rhyno and Raven? I mean god id rather unlock Rico and Goldust! And by the way want a wrestling game? Spend a bit more and buy HERE COMES THE PAIN

Loads of people are given this really bad reviews but i personly dont see what all the problems are. I think it is because its for gamecube and most people who have PS2's just hate them and give them a bad name. I use to have a PS2 and got sooo board of it and traded it for a Gamecube, never looked back since. People and sayin it does not even come into the "smackdown" game range, well i honestly prefer this, the entrances are more realistic, the game play is cool and the range of matchs is good. The only thing Smackdown wins on is the fact the have more moves-wow. This game offers more than just a smackdown experiance but a wrestlemainia-bigger hits and charactors all thrown togther to fight it out in the ultimate battleing areana. If you are considering buying this game go for it-it wins hands down-great fot playing with mates.
Cant wait to buy the latest version now!!!

Are drooling Morons. This is a very good game. You wanna play the worst wrestling game ever? Play Legends of Wrestling, you retard.
Ne way this game is pretty good, tho it does have some flaws, such as a career mode. Note that this was the company's first wrestling game (well not yukes but the other bunch ne way) so this game was essentially a demo.
The CAW Is Ok, u just have to no how 2 use it. Like logos n stuff.
So I luv this game, and you people who don't no wot the're talking about should never review again and go kill themselves.

SAVE YOUR FIFTEEEE AND BOIGH SUMTHINK DEESENT!"

In this WWE game, the only stars that had good Entrance themes were Chris Beniot, even if liked his 2003 one better, Kane,
Undertaker,Albert, Scotty, Kurt Angle, APA, Regal even if I hate, Rikishi, Stone Cold, nWo, & Rikishi. this game is 90% OK, and the Rest is awful, I did team up Angle & Beniot, & Kane & Undertaker, those are the two bestest teams I think. By the Way I made Rikishi the Heavyweight Champion after HHH,I do like every areana expect the Raw arena, by the I have trouble unlocking the Royal Rumble 2001 arena, one ? is that do I have to beat the Royal Rumble in one-player mode in Exhibition to unlock this arena?

I think that the game needed a lot of work because like other wrestling games(smack down)the is a lot of other things you can do. the path of a champion mode sucks real bad. and every one always seem to want to kick your < remove me > at #$ what kind of triple threat match is that. you cant even wear your championship belt when in your entrance. But it those give you a challenge the graphics are okay. do better when i get x9.It didn't even have the right music jeff hardy has some gay rocknroll stuff.I did like the battle for the belts mode gave me and my friends something to look forward to.

First of all the graphics are horrible
the entrences are all messed up
and people can pick up a ladder while you are still on it
I expected much more
But you get what you pay for
The grappling system is awful
It seems that everyone is after you trying to beat the hell out of you

I think that this game was pretty good but the way that there is not even any commentating, as the hurricane says "what's up with that!" And anoter thing, why do the wrestlers just get straight back up after a stunner or a pedigree? I think it is too unrealistic, don't you think that the women's championship is pretty important, and even when I go for the title I have to go through at least 6 guys!? 19 had better have commentating or you bumholes are going to be booed out of your jobs!

It is true the game does need work. No story line mode, still can't come out to the ring with the belts. no backsatge brawling,
no crowd brawling, no announcers of any kind!But, the create-a-wrestler mode is one of the best ive seen in a while. The new(old)grapple system is much better than wrestlmainia X8 and the game play is more intense,dramatic,realistic,and more fun. Although it might not be the best per say but its close. and its a whole lot better than X8.

even though i only had this game a few weeks i've really have injoyed playing on it i have to admittit they could do some improvements, like the graphics could be a bit better and they could put on a story mode but still i think its worth its money
