this game had pretty good graphics, it was one of the three games i got with my GCN. I liked the fun level, i don't like: the fact that theres no story mode, your very limited when you vreate a character, you can't challenge people for belts, you don't have access to all the rings. Smackdown for ps2 is much better. this game had good music and great entrance themes, but other than that, the rest sucked. I'm a huge WWE fan, but this game doesn't satisfy my WWE obsession.

Okay this game is one of the best games I played. Sometimes i think it gets kinda funny when you chuck a weapon at the guy on the turnbukle. The only part that I hate of it is that you have to earn your specials otherwise this game is awesome glad they created it!

the wwf has gone over wwe this is way better than raw for xbox but theres no store lines to the game at all the game is like smackdown thats what i like about the game its cool theres hell
in a sell were you can put people in to tabals its not bad theres boold but theres lots of matchs to go to so you can play for hours i give the game a 8 over smackdown but like say dont
go out and spend 30.00 dolles for this but 20s not bad i would buy it

first of all i am sorry to all of you that listened to my last review thats because i was young and stupid, but let me tell u what i think of the game now! this is the worst wrestling game ever, the only good things are the entrances and creating a superstar.if you have played def jam vendetta then you would be saying this game should be like wrestlemania because it has more grapple moves and it has a frickin story mode(its pretty relistic, it looks so real, and you get to choose your path). OH!! and be sure to playwrestlemania xix because it will be the best wrestling game ever for gamecube(i can't explain how the game is because i havn't played it, but please try to tell me what its like if you get the chance to play it!). well as mankind always says "have a nice day."

This games story line is exactly the same in every belt ecept for the wrestlers triple threats SUCK! and they do not have any of the cool superstars as in Smackdown. You cannot create stables or have mask for your created people. There are only a few arenas and fighting is like in legends of wrestling. The people who created this game SCREWED UP BAD! please don't make another.

I admit it was fun at first but after a while it was really not good. There ain't a wide variety of grapples and submissions really suck! The graphics are alright nothing to get up and shout about. The music sounds like they got it out of an x rated and they didn't like grunt or anything when they got hurt. The ladder macthes and stuff sucked because they coudn't do much with their weapons like in smackdown shut your mouth. Hell in a Cell was alright but you couldn't throw them off or wipe their face on the steal. The titles could't change hands in a exibition either. there was no blood or any actual pain showing. The only part I liked were the entrances. Especially trish and stacy's. All I know is wrestlemania 19 will make up for it. For short... THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!

ok I'll give credit for them making people like the nwo,rvd,lance strom,and booker t,however it couldn't save them from the misery the game really is I mean look at booker t. His face looks like barney rubble.and tajiri looks as tall and buff as the undertaker.But the thing that really hurt the most was not the entrance music but the main music for the whole game.So if you have alittle cousin or brother that doesn't know the meaning of great and suck buy it for him if you don't got anything else to give him.

Wrestlemania x8 is a great game. Like any game it has its flaws like the create-a-wrestler option, i mean what the hell is that. I especially didin't like the fact that u couldn't steal your opponents special move like u could in No Mercy. The last flaw I saw was that if you broke your opponent through a cage or table they show it entirely 2 fast and some wrestlers don't have their real music and the biggest flaw yet NO BROCK LESNAR. But the good things I saw were that the graphics are TIGHT the Hell in a Cell matches are off da chain and the Hardcore matches are tight. Another good thing is the entrances they are tight as hell. They have a wide variety of moves and the fact that u can have your own personal belt is tight. The last flaw I saw is that it is 2 damn easy to interrupt a special move whether u reverse it or someone punches u when u are about 2 do it. It was a good game, I've had it for a few months and it is still a tight ass game I could play it all day. Even though it is still tight to me I can't wait for Wrestlemania 19 to come out and u bet yo ass I'm going to give another commentary about that game. If u liked my review u will love the game now it does not cost over 25 dollars but don't let that sway your judgement, if u like wrestling WMX8 is your game. Peace!

i think this is decent. it lacked story lines and more chracters and arenas.i wish many more wrestlers were on it would make it more fun. wwf no mercy for n64 was much better than wrestlemania which is for gamecube. i hope they make a game like no mercy for gamecube. I CANT WAIT FOR A NEW GAME THAT WILL COME OT BECAUSE WRESTLEMAINIA WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT. i was looking forward for this game but onece i played it, it became very boring. i unlocked everything which took like a week and then the game became very boring. i heard that wrestlemania 19 was coming out but im not sure if that will be a disappoint ment as well. to conclude wrestlemania x8 was a big disappointment.

When I first played the game I thought it was really good.But after a while the game gets a bit boring.The thing that makes this game not so good is the lack of blood.They have no masks on 'Create a Wrestler',the 'Season' mode is rubbish,and there is no interference and no special guest referee match.I can't wait for wwe wrestlemania 19 to come out.

It was ok but then after you play it for a long it's crap coz there's no proper story mode like in shut your mouth or there ain't that many wrestlers,the music was crap there's no commentary not that not fun as playing after you you do compelte the crap story mode and unlock everyone, shut your mouth, but it's was better than all the other wrestling games that came out on nintendo the origanality was great but it's definitely worth £40 it was better than raw and crap compared to shut your mouth

This is a great game. I've had it for about 6 months now and I am still loving it. The graphics are some of the best I have ever seen, far better that Smackdown Shut your mouth. The sound is cool, I like how the music changes when you are in the championship match. The entrances for each superstar is original and cool and I love how there are originals for if you want to create a superstar. This game is seriously a ton of fun and I could play this all day. The value of this game I would say is still around $49.95. The only thing that this game was lacking was a story line mode, also more things to unlock would have been great. All in all this game is a slobber knocker.

ok...I was REALLY lookin foreward to this game but then it came out. I loved it the graphics and it all together but then the more you play it the more boring it gets. All you do is get belts and create a superstar. The caw was crap too. I Hated this game after I beat it.

This game was cool to me. number 1 the graphic are like the best graphics i've seen in a long time. The music is cool but they mest up on the nWo music. I gave it a 9 because the game had no story mode. Plus they have no masks in create a wrestler mode!!

this is a good game i recomend it to everyone (i love the graphics) if you dont like this game you must be crazy.the only thing that needs word is the arenas there should be mare diffrent kinds!(hint to the piky reveiwers:they always say the game sucked and shouldent have been made)(hint to good reivewers:they say the game needs some work)well anyway the best part of the game is custimizing/making a player. this game is cool, thank u for readingthis review -(gamespy) Ryan

Wrestlemania X8 is a decent game, and I sure did have a lot of fun with it. First of all, you can easily move from/block grab holds, and punching and kicking techniques. What I'm waiting for now is Gamecube's newest WWE title, called WWE Crush Hour, I read the reviews and it seemed pretty nice. Wrestlemania X8 is for hardcore wrestling gamers, and nothing more. The graphics are nice, and there's just a lot to do, graphics alone doesn't make a game a good game. WWF No Mercy was better than Wrestlemania X8, there was a good creating mode, and a storyline. Most of the time it took me an hour just to create someone on No Mercy!!

The following review Scheduled for over 200 words is for WWE Wrestlemania X8! First off over here they changed it to WWE WMX8 istead of WWF WMX8 but that doesn't matter, really. Anyway, next is the GRAPHICS Which are Lush*, solid and extremely realistic. The bad thing about the graphics is the fact that, at times, they look kind of wrong (E.G. reds are too dark, Characters are too fat ect.) other than that there pretty solid. As for the sound FX...WHAT IN THE NAME OF SUPLEXING HAPPENED THERE! The Hardyz Tune is Wrong, Booker T's tune is Wrong, WOOOOOOOOOOOO Ric Flair's is Wrong and So is Stacey Kiebler's, although that's probably due to liscensing difficulties But the rest have no excuse. General SFX are a pleasent affair with kicks sounding like you just broke a rib or 10...thats not a bad thing. Gameplay wise it is Fantasticly fun not because you can run down your opponent in a burning pick-up truck while singing "A Spoon Full Of Suger" (which you can't...Unfortunatly.) But because it is so basic. This game should last you a while and is really worth your cash. Unoriginal but fun. SmackDown copy tonight.
