Haha! Can we say Garbage? | | Adam from PA, USA says (13/Jun/2002): | Man, I was SO let down with this game! Yea, sure..it's great that the NWO and WCW/ECW invasion is there....but what the heck, like five or six of the members of the WCW/ECW invasion are there!! Now I don't know about anyone else...but the creat-a-wrestler is horrible! You have about 5 faces to choose from...which are dumb looking, no good outfits for the wrestlers and you can't even give them enterance attire like sunglasses and crap! I mean create-a-wrestler is the thing I love MOST about the wrestling games! THQ, Yukes, Nintendo, VINCE come on now, we know you people can do better that this...the only good that came outta this game is the enterances, other than that it's trash, so wrestling fans, save your $50 and get something worth buying!!
| Great game with settle but noticable flaws | | Travis Clay from Newark, Ohio-USA says (12/Jun/2002): | This game was highly anticipated and it seems it was rushed out of programming. This is a button masher dream come true. It is arcade style action with very realistic graphics. But, hello, what the hell happened with the sound? The NWO music is embarrassing while Booker T's entrance theme is downright hilarious. And let us not forgot the corny background music playing during a match. Also no season mode, although there is a difficult "Path of Champions" mode but still not a season. Create a Wrestler is very in depth, there is a bunch of extras to add the wrestlers not on the roster... even Maven! Overall this can keep you entertained with its multiple game modes and selections of wrestlers but I think it leaves a void for the fans fom the N64 No Mercy days.
| WrestleMania X8 | | Mustie from Ontario, California says (12/Jun/2002): | This game is a game every wrestling fan wants, this is WrestleMania X8. Although this game is very good it has some down points to it like: you can't go back stage or make you're own stable and lets not forget the blood their is none $#!*. Other wise comparing this to No Mercy it is slightly better. The reason why the graphics are good and the girls look hot especailly Trish.
