Buying Bomberman would be a great addition to your Gamecube collection. |
| Mike Uhr from Edina, Mn says (10/Jun/2002): |
Bomberman Generation is an overal great game. I hope the cel shading in Zelda will match this. Story: Unfortunatly this game has a very boooring and typical story. A bunch of bad guys steal various elements from a spaceship and the one and only Bomberman is sent to rescue them, yadda yadda yadda. Gameplay: This game like the other Bomberman games features very good gameplay. The camera is in one word: TERRIFIC! You can see any direction you want simply by using the L and R buttons. Their is never a point where you won't be able to see Bomberman. Use collect, raise, fight and breed certain animals called Charabombs. I enjoyed this, as it is something extra to do. This game is very puzzle oriented so if you like puzzles you're in for a treat. Even if you think you don't like puzzles give it a try and I bet you will enjoy it. Also in the game their is the unique and addicting multiplayer mode. Sound: The game has music that goes along well the atmosphere. The sounds are usally entertaining but somewhat repetitive. Graphics: WOW! The cel shaded graphics go perfectly with Bomberman since it has always been a cartoony looking game. The incredible part is that everything is cel shaded. (The bosses look amazing)Lifespan: The game is a little on the short side in the one player mode but the multiplayer mode more then makes up for it. Thanks to the multiplayer mode you will be playing this for about 2-3 months. To buy or to rent that is the question.
BUY this unless you hate cel shading and Bomberman, otherwise rent. 9/10

Not exactly BomberMan 64 |
| Justin from United States says (24/Dec/2002): |
This game is awesome, but the multiplayer in BomberMan Generation is bad compared to BomberMan 64. The graphics are decent and the Charaboms are a great addition to the game, but it lacks some of the old aspects, such as the costumes. I would choose BomberMan 64 over this game, but it is still worth the money and time.

Why is it so cool? |
| A gamer from Alma,MI USA says (10/Jun/2002): |
This gamme is cool because the graphics in this game are good but the layout is much better then the past games, and let me tell you that the main bosses are really hard when you first meet them but after at least 4 times trying to beat'em it'll be much easier. It's also a cross between Poke'mon and Bomberman because of the charaboms that you have to find and use in the game for important events (like bosses). One of the characters in the game will really get annoying after a few stages, and there's all kinds new sounds and sound effects in the game but now bomberman sounds like a bomberwoman. As for the gameplay you still have the fire power, number of bombs, bomb kicks, bomb throws, but now you have speed to help you move faster and, as I add it again, charaboms! As for the lifespan you start off with for hearts but you get more on the way.

The only fun part is multiplayer mode |
| Colin from Denver, USA says (14/Jun/2003): |
Hudson tried to make the one-player game better than Bomberman 64 with the addition of charabombs, better graphichs, and more levels. This just doesn't cut it. The cel-shaded graphics are pretty sweet, but it also takes away that classic Bomberman feel. Also, Prof. Ein's instructions assume that I'm a two year old. Enough with the complaining. The best part of this game is the multiplayer game, which will keep you playing for hours. I also enjoyed the five modes of compition, including dodge, coin, and revenge battle. All in all, this is a game only worth renting. I give it a seven out of five.

Bomberman is SO cool!!:) ihatemajestar |
| Nimbuschao from Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA says (15/Sep/2005): |
Bomberman Generation is one of my favorite games. It is pretty tough at some parts (especially Majestar), and Professor Ein is BOISTEROUSLY ANNOYING. Other bad things are that Bomberman sounds like a little girl, and I just HATE Majestar. Other than that, the game is terrific!!!
The good things... the music is awesome, and so are the graphics. The bossess. Let's talk about bosses. Tentasia's: easy Octoocean's: easy Tako Desert's: normal Nekki Moon's: easy Armor Joe's: normal What about Majestar? I just don't even want to talk about that horrifying level. If you want to know why, just look at the part when I said "I HATE Majestar". Multiplayer is awesome!!! I could play it for over two hours if my little brother didn't complain that he always blows up. Overall, this game deserves a 9/10. It's Majestar's fault that I didn't give it a 10/10. If you see this game, I prefer that you buy it, unless you hate Bomberman. You can still get it if you're like me and hate Majestar. There are 5 other levels besides it, and you can play multiplayer. Have fun with this game:)
