Super Mario Sunshine is a Real Cool Game..!!!!!!!! | Manav Gandhi from India says (22/Feb/2004): | Excellent Graphics, Cool Sounds and Friendly Controls make this Game Completely Outstanding. It all is due to Mr.Shigeru Miyamoto who Created Mario which is now a Household Name all over the world & is a real Genius. He is One creator who revolutionized the world of videogames. This game is a Collector's Item so don't think but Just Go For It..Mario looks like your average Italian plumber. He is rather chubby and has a big mustache. Most of the time, he is wearing blue overalls, white gloves, a red shirt and cap and black shoes. Most people would describe him as a rather hardworking, determined but goofy and awkward kind of guy. His voice is also kind of goofy and high-pitched. He sounds a little like Mickey Mouse from Disney. Mario does not have good looks like other heroes but he is rather charming. He is the guy that always manages to win with a smile in his face. Do Visit the Official Nintendo's Mario Website as It Is a Masterpiece.. Go to "Guimp.com" which is the World's Smallest Website and Do Check Out Mario's Animated Small Version as Small is Beautiful & I Believe 'cause I want too..!!!!!!!! I Rate this Classic Game 10+ anyday and I'm Sure You all Will Like It Too..
"oo" Thanx.. I'm sure You'll Enjoy this Game Just Like I Did..

| Flash Liquidiser Ultra Dousing Device = FLUDD | | Toby from Sawbridgeworth, England says (26/Dec/2002): | This game is so cool! I love the new FLUDD controls, and the storline is neat.
Storyline: 7.9
The story was good, but there was still room for improvement. Mario, Peach and a bunch of Toads (including Toadsworth) are taking a well-deserved vacation, but it's all ruined right from when they land on the airstrip. Mario gets framed, and finds FLUDD. The judge says all of the island is covered in icky, paint-like goop, and Mario is accused of the crime. He must, with FLUDD, clean up the whole island, and recover their missing SHINE SPRITES. The more SHINES Mario collects, the brighter Isle Delfino is.
Graphics: 8.5
Very good! The graphics are wonderful when you're squirting with FLUDD. The reflections are nice, the landscape is pretty-apart from the goop; speaking of the goop, it is- I haven't the words for it. How's this for it- great.
Sound & Music: 9.9(sooooo close!) I really don't want to carry on about this section, so I'll just say a few words: The sound is great, with Mario yelling and 'whoa'ing, and the sound of his shoes on concrete, water and grass- Brilliant.
The music is brilliant too, but with one flaw: The game could use different music. Listen to the following next time you play SMS.
Bianco Hills Music.
The one where you fight Gooper Blooper two times. If you don't know what I mean, look at each Episode 7 for the title: Shadow Mario Revisited. That place. Yup.
The beach without the hotel, with the legendary Sand Bird.
All seems to be the same music, but in different variety, huh?
Gameplay: 10.00 (but 6.5 for camera)
The controls couldn't be simpler. Maybe they could, but in my opinion, the controls are simple. A is jump, like in all Mario games. B doesn't do anything, unless you're running, causing you to do a power slide, otherwise Mario does a tiny step. R for FLUDD use, like in LM. You know, Luigi's Mansion. L for swinging the camera round behind your back, or, if you're in the air, Ground Pound. X changes nozzles on FLUUD, Y changes to First-Person View, and Z gives you a map of Isle Delfino.
Overall: 10.00
Buy, or Rent?
Buy, most certainly.
Well, it's your choice whether you buy the game, or leave it on a lonely shop shelf. If I were you, I'D GET THIS GAME!!!
Of course, I don't need to buy it anymore, I've got this game! How could I review it if I didn't have it?
(Well, I could play it at a friend's house, but you're wrong. We're usually trying to win the game before the other does!*)
Toodles.
*My friend's way in front of me, I've 25 SHINES, hes got about 53. Toodles again.
| The computer geek from the USA!!!!!!!!!!!! | | A gamer from Waukee, Iowa USA says (7/Feb/2004): | In my opinion, there are only seven words that can fully describe this game:"This game was created by a genius!"
It is a game that, from the very beginning, will get you obsessively trapped in it's plot! I agree, the ending was EXTREMELY dissapointing, but you can't call the whole thing bad because of something that PETTY and INSIGNIFICANT!!! I am OBSESSED with this game. Many people today feel that Super Mario Sunshine isn't up to par with most games. WHY? I'll tell you WHY! Because you don't go into some sleezy town with a machine gun and start blowing things to bits!!!! I only hope that there are enough people like me to keep games like Super Mario Sunshine from going extinct. The graphics: Unearthly detailed! You can see the individual drops of water shooting out of FLUDD's nozzle! The sound: WOW! The only reason I even stumbled across this board is because I was searching the web for MP3s of those AMAZINGLY addictive songs. The controls: Very flexible! You can go up, down, left, right, diagonal, and UPSIDE DOWN! Originality: In all my years of video gaming(since I was 4) I have never seen ANYTHING like it! It is in a world that is, in my opinion, more exciting, more free, and, over all, MORE FUN! As for the value, ERRRR... In one sence, sure, but in another, it just doesn't quite meet expectations. If I went back in time, would I buy it again? With out a doubt! The experience was worth it! But when you've just beaten it 3 months later, and your still feeling the $30 to $50 financial pinch, it's a bit flustering! Of course, there's beating it, and then there's BEATING it. You may save Peach, but there's still the matter of the missing Shine Sprites. IN CONCLUSION: A GREAT buy for any age! A definite 10 of 10! Looking at it as the inventor that I am: I'M GOING TO BUILD MYSELF A FLUDD!!!!! IF E. GADD CAN DO IT, SO CAN I!!!!! This is **** ********** signing off! Good evening, and good bye.
| This game is gonna be a staple for the Camecube for a while. | | Eric McDonald from Ft. Collins, USA says (1/Oct/2002): | Well, just got my copy of Sunshine a few days ago, so I figured I would post my "review". First of all. I gotta say, I have always been a devoted fan of Mario and his whole series, so when I heard that there was a new GC game, I was thrilled!
I love how the game opens, the scene that you land in (no pun intended) is not a pretty one, with a large Mario shaped painted graffiti, and an odd, M shaped signature.
The start of the game is wonderful, especially the FLUDD instruction program (FLUDD has such a cute voice!) the game's mechanics are wonderful, although the lack of a crouch button upsets me, as I loved the long jump and the backflip techniques. wall jumping is not new, but they have honed the skill to make it easy and useful. FLUDD is an extremely ingenious innovation and gives a very large edge to the game. It may not feel like the normal "jump ona de head" Mario, but it is a neat concept.
I love the beautiful scenery, and the water and fire effects are breathetaking, although I was a litte upset with the lack of detail. Mario looks very. . .bland, compared to his Super Smash Bros. Melee counterpart. the only other detail that bothers me are the total blobs worth of villagers.. It bothered me that they were no more then beady eyes on colored blob.
Yoshi... so many problems with Yoshi.. anyone who has played Super Mario World for SNES knows that Yoshi is supposed to be a versitile, wonderful staple to aid you.. he could fly with you, swim with you, eat anything, stomp, spit fire, you name it.. but now.. he can triple jump, flutter, eat stuff and spit juice, he cannot touch large bodies of water, or he melts. meaning no more swimming, he cannot fly or spit fire.. I was extremely bothered..
This game is wonderful, innovative and original. This game would get a ten except for the Yoshi problems. I highly suggest purchasing this game if you haven't already. 9/10
| A super game that you can't miss! | | Jeremy from Holland, Europe says (28/Sep/2002): | Okay, it's here! Mine is an US import (as i' m from Europe) But i'm glad i let my fried do it (forced him is more like it). this game featers great gameplay. Although ya might miss Mario's long-jump at the start your FLUDD device does more then alright! I spended afther reciving the "speedboat' adition to FLUDD over 30 minutes just blasting in the water arround , fooling arround.
The game is great if you love agility and puzzling. some are pretty nice brain crackers to solve. you just can't simply jump from this to there without knowing what your doing. Also safe to say in advance is that the life meter and air meter the same in mario 64 are now seperated o no life refill in water!
in overall, gameplay and senario's you play are great. the story is different but typically mario style a we enjoy.
Now, this game is ofcourse not pure sunshine troughout the game. It has some flaws:
1. it sad the game hasn' t but i defnitly seen frame-rate drops. ones lasting maybe 1-3 sdeconds in the most. ofcourse thisa is very rare and happens wen your cam is on a weird spot but you notice (mostly in the theme park) with the water that the frasme rate takes a slight step back but not that it interferrs or brings dow speed in the game
2. Yoshi.. Okay, i might be pushing lil flaws but he aint as manuverable as your used to him. he isn' t as reactive as Mario so be carefull..
3. The cam sysatem is great but.. can be annoying to get stuck with your hughcam behind a wall seeing mario' s shade and are not sure what to do. A lil bit of extra following up would have been nice.
4. Some textures are simple and plain. Nintendo could have done a lil bit more wefford into it but then again they did put the detail where it really belongs so it doesn' t bother.
so overall it' s to me already a classic with flaws falling into nothing with all it' s greatness!!
| Problems eclipsed by sheer brilliance of this game | | A gamer from London, UK says (4/Nov/2002): | OK, this is just another Mario 64, right? Well, in many ways, yes, but is that really such a bad thing? This game certainly looks very similar to the classic N64 title, but the real joys of this game are the genuine attempts by Nintendo to make this as fun as possible to play. It's hard to explain the sheer joy of diving into the shimmering, wavy seas, or the awesome feeling you get every time you complete one of the fiendishly difficult obstacle courses. There are real signs of classic Nintendo gold in this game, demonstrted perfectly by the little pinball mini-level, or the majestic sand-bird, swooping high over Gelato Beech. Sure, this game has its faults. Yoshi does, as much as it feels bad to admit it, feel like a rushed, gimmicky add-on, but that's practically it. Certainly, there can be no complaints with Mario's water pack, which works really well, is easy to control right from the start, and feels so central to the whole Mario experience that you'll (honestly!) wonder how you did without it. Controlling Mario without the pack just seems strange. So, just another SM64? As I said, in many ways, yes, but this feels so much better than that when you actually play it. This game just feels fresh and exciting. You will laugh and beg for more as you race frantically around the Pinna Park roller coaster, firing rockets at a huge, flame breathing, mechanical Bowser. You will drop into the sea for the millionth time from the scaffolding around Ricco Harbour and pick yourself up to try it just one more time. You will be smiling from ear to ear as you complete every one of this game's rock hard challenges, (Believe me, there are plenty,) until you have found every shine, every secret, every single coin that this breathtaking game has to offer. Quite simply, it's unmissable. 10/10
| This Game Rocks Big Time!! | | Tyler Krieg from USA says (22/Oct/2002): | You need to get this game. It is much better than you think-trust me! First of all, FLUDD is SO cute-you might say it is cuter than Yoshi. Also Yoshi is back with cool moves. Delfino Island starts off as gloomy and cloudy, but the more shine sprites you get, the more sunny and cloudless it gets. The bosses are cooler too. There is Bowser (du), shadow mario (I don't want to give it away), Gooper Blooper, the mole, Petey Pirahna, the manta storm, king boo (he's back), Eely Tooth, Giant Wriggler, Chain Chomp, and Piantissimo (a racer)- those are ALL bosses-yep. And you meet them more than once! There are different types of Yoshis to get and they can all turn baddies into a platform. Sometimes piantas throw you and they all react to what you do to them. For instince, if you spray someone, they will yell at you and if someone is dirty, they will praise you. You have to know thier way of life to get along. You can also shop for others to get prizes. You can ride on boats or travel to a theme park to enjoy some rides OR you can sleep in a four-star hotel that is HUGE.You can watch construction or visit beaches;visit villages or swim in a hot spring;listen to guitar players or actually watch the Doot Doot girls perform. You can also visit a casino, hunt down birds, eat a smoothie, swim in the coral reef, buy shine sprites, dive down a waterfall, fight evil, and many more things.I have 119 shine sprites, and I have enough experience to say that this game is the best game ever! So buy this game! You'll see why I wanted to write this review!!! (p.s.There is a secret place in the game in Noki Bay on level 3-there is a door at the bottom and if you center the camera just right, you can see a book followed by a secret passageway. No wonder that pianta guy said if this was the end of the game...)
| Awesome Game! | | Rachel from Kansas City, Kansas says (28/May/2005): | Super Mario Sunshine is an awesome game. I think the grapics are one of the best improvements. The levels/courses are really pretty and colorful and it feels like you're really there. The water is also awesome. It moves and looks like water should. The water that comes from FLUDD is also very realistic and you can see the individual drops.
Sounds are fun and cute and some are remixes from past mario games which are fun to hear again.
Yoshi is re-introduced into this game as well and I think this was a really cute idea. I havn't seen Yoshi in a game for a really long time and he plays a cute role in Super Mario Sunshine.
The difficulty level varies. Some episodes are veeeery frusturating. There is one episode on every level where you get FLUDD taken away and you have to do an obstical course type thing with out it. This is extremely difficult.. and I have a couple marks on my controler from it hitting the wall a few times.. But I do think it was a good idea to add these courses in there, because it builds your skill in the game. It also makes you not so dependant on FLUDD because you are pretty much forced to practice moves/jumps etc. without it. And even though these "mini courses" are difficult.. they are rather addicting.. and you will most likely find yourself trying again after you're done being mad at it.
Yes, the ending to this game was very dissapointing. I was definiatly expecting a little more.. But over all I think this is an awesome game and is completely worth your money. There are a lot of suprises, fun characters, and amazing graphics that will make you want to keep playing. Isle Delfino is definatly worth a visit.
| The music is SOUNDTRACK WORTHY!! | | Paris from USA says (29/Apr/2003): | I could listen to the music in the game alone for hours!!! Not to mention that this is the best game I've ever played since Final Fantasy X. THIS GAME ROCKS! The graphics are simply beautiful. This game also contains the most imaginative Super Mario plot since Marioparty 3! This game is VERY addictive. My only problems with this game are as follows: #1: The voiceovers are terrible. Peach sounds like a chipmunk, and what's with the toads' voices??!!!?? They sound like they need to cough very badly. #2(Here's what REALLY kills me...} It's 2003, and Mario STILL doesn't talk!! He's also sounds suspiciously feminine.... #3: The game is incredibly long, and it sometimes becomes tedious. It does have a lot of features though. #4: Peach still can't seem to get through a single game without being kidnapped by Bowser or a relative of Bowser's. #5: WHERE IN THE WORLD IS LUIGI??? He's my favorite character! Despite these little setbacks, this game is worth the time and effort. Lots of new characters provide for some comic relief and discovery. For instance, I think the addition of a "right-hand man {Toadsworth}"
was a good idea. There are more little Toads, too. They provide the 'cuteness' factor. I like the new 'people' {the Pianta people and the Noki people} and the feature of being able to converse with them. Old characters get more exposure. Yoshi makes some appearances sporting new abilities such as the triple-jump and juice squirting. The only problem is that you have to get a certain fruit to lure him out of his egg in the first place. FLUDD is an awesome character. Overall, this game is great and original.
| Second only to Fnal Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 | | mathew from Barford, England says (9/Dec/2002): | I don't know about you but the reason I got a gamecube was because of the games coming out (Super Smash Bros Melee, Starfox Adventures, Resident Evil, Zelda)Mario was one of them. I could not wait for this game to come out. I was not dissapointed this is the best Gamecube game I own at the moment and thats with games like Starfox Adventures and Resident Evil in my collection. The game starts up pretty boringly with Mario and peach landing on the island it's when you get all the levels open that the game realy shines(no pun intended) because you can go around a do what level you want when you want. It's not Like one of the Final Fantasy games where you get lead by ut scenes. The story doesn't play much of a part in the game but if your one of those people who likes a game with story here it is. Mario lands on island delpheno where he has been blamed for graphiting the whole Island but what the Towns people don't know is that it's a mario look alike anyway Mario has been told by the judge to clean it up but your not alone. FLUDD is at hand it's like a fire hydren that shoots water and thats what you clean up the graphiti up with. Fludd has many different fuction which include Propeller, Hover and Rocket. During the adventure you get to ride Yoshi the dinosaur. The graphics are realy cool the look like the have been painted. The backgrounds are bright and colourful and look real summary. The sound is good to the music is real catchy. Peaches voice is horrible and you don't even hear mario talk
| great game | | Terri from UK says (10/Jun/2005): | ok, first off... i would like to review the reviews. Reviews are generally there to HELP people! if you don't like something about the game or the game in general, just calmly say why... theres no need to be rude about anything, it's just a game, theres no need to get so pissed off about it. If you don't like it, fine... either say why or go and get a different game. ANYWHO! i'm quite slow with any games cuz i rarely have time so this was long enough for moi, but may vary to the gamer. Considerin Mario isn't meant to be lifelike -stares at a reviewer- the graphics were fine. I find any sound on computer games annoying, i just wish they would always let you add your own so meh to the sound. the storyline and plot of the game is just... weak. i don't mind fantasy games (zelda, sonic ect) but com'on... is that all they could come up with? excluding the storyline the game makes up with its actual gameplay, it's a challenge through different levels, and i like that except some were too short and easy. Overall the gameplay is great and always brings you something new... it doesn't compare with mario 64. i never actually completed that game, but i was too young n crap at games =P but anywayz, even though it isn't as good as mario 64, this game in general is worth its money and i reccomend to give it a try no matter what reviews say cuz obviously it has shown to have some very extreme reviews... its one of those you either love it or hate it.
| Mario is back and stronger that ever!! | | Bryan from Ohio, USA says (11/Oct/2002): | Within the first few minutes I played Super Mario Sunshine I knew: I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! Now I'm not saying mario 64 was bad but the two games just can't possibly be compared. Mario sunshine is one of the most creative and interesting games I have ever played, not to mention fun!! There is virtually nothing wrong with the game, the camera control is great, I think the camera in Mario Sunshine is the easiest camera to control in platform gaming. Also you can get mario to almost any and every edge, platform, etc. Another great feature of this game is that almost everything you see you can get to. If you're falling and there is a tree under you, you hit the tree and bounce off instead of falling right through it, sure this isn't something huge but hey in games people want it detailed and realistic right? I was origanally going to rate this game a 10 out of 10 but now that I think about it there is one HUMONGUS problem, invisible walls. There is NOTHING worse than invisible walls, you're running along and BAM! straight into and invisible wall the only other problem I had with this game is it is to short there aren't that many shines, theres only like 70 or 80 not counting getting 100 coins Other than that this is a great game and to anyone who doesn't have this game BUY IT, NOW! Mario Sunshine is one of the best games I've played in my life
| The best game in Mario history! | | A gamer from Massachusets, USA says (26/Apr/2003): | Yes, it is the best game in Mario history. Even though it is only one player, it is a great game that you will want to keep playing for years to come! Even though it is easy (I got 113 shine sprites with 7 more to go in 3 weeks of getting the game), it's a great game to play. With FLUDD, your trusty cleaner, it makes the game possible to beat. Even if you have gotten everything in one level that you like, and you won't have, dont forget the secret shines and the blue coins, its very fun to play around in levels like Pinna Park, an amusment park, and Sirena Beach, a Hotel with secret shortcuts that let you into the other rooms. I've noticed that in every game the first level is one of my least favorites, which is in this game Bianco Hills, which is my least favortie. I also do not like Gelato Beach and Pianta Village. Noki Bay is VERY BORING until you find out aboit the ruins. In the begining, Peach is with you until you get 10 shine sprites. And after that, once again, your 2nd objective (yes there is 2 objectives!!!!:)) Is to save peach, but this time from Shadow Mario, which I won't say who it actualy is. You will find out when you beat eppisode 1, Pinna Park, World 4. I couldn't imagine playing a Mario adventure game without FLUDD, it would be VERY bad. Hes one of the reasons why this game is much better than any other Mario game!
| U got a GameCube u need this!! | | Elliot. Walker from England, Sheffield says (13/Oct/2002): | At first, yes, the grass may be a bit flat and the walls may not be that realistic but from the moment your thumb touches the joystick its sort of like you have jumped into the role of mario. You dont even have to concentrate on getting the shines, you can just bounce on the typeropes or run on rooves, but whatever you do you will just keep coming back for more even if its to play about with fludd. The sound of this game is brillliant. Every move Mario makes he makes a little "whoop" or a "whaa" even if its just when your doing a jump. Where ever you go to in Ilse Defino you'll have the feeling in the back of your mind that your missing out somewhere else and as soon as you have completed the mission you are currently on you will soon be in another part of the island and you will get the same feeling once again. Usually in a Mario game the princess get kidnapped and you have to do your best to rescue her but in this game there is alot more to it. This game has alot more of a story-line than previous mario games, that will drag you inside of the game and this story-line itself is very original. If you have a GameCube then you have to get "Super Mario Sunshine" no matter what!!!
| This is my favorite game. | | Lindsay from St. Paul, MN, USA says (1/May/2003): | I thought it was the best game ever except I only got 109 shine sprites. I thought the game seemed difficult because it is too hard to collect blue coins to get shine sprites. I wish that Mario would talk more in the game and interact with the Piantas. The one thing that bugs me is that I read that nothing really happens at the end. I would rather see Yoshi be green instead of pink, purple and orange. It would be better if you could have all the nozzles at the same time because it would be easier to get around. I wish that the Piantas would find out that Baby Bowser made the graffiti and that he would go to jail to be punished. The graphics were really really good--the water looked real and the Piantas were so cute. The sounds sounded really real, like they were really happening. My favorite sound was when Mario was walking on the sidewalk - it sounded just like footsteps. My favorite part of the game is when Fludd was about to break, the toads fixed him. I wish that the end of the game would be like the beginning of the game where the people weren't mad and there wouldn't be any goop around and it was sunny out.
| Good game could be better | | Aaron Needham from England says (6/May/2003): | This Game is a great game when coming to a mario game and what i like is the fact where the levels have eight parts to them. Some levels are easy but when you come to niko harbour it is hard on the first episode and it is uncork the waterfull. the graphics on this game are good but when you go into a view where you are behind a wall is very annoying.the game is fun and exciting advenure but if you dont have a memory card it is boring because you are starting again and again and that is annoying. this game could be made better if you could be the princess or another charactor or even be on the dark side so someone like bowser or bowsers son.over all the game is good and fun with fludd with rocket nozzel, hover nozzel and the turbo nozzel. the best part of this game is when you start and you are on the island where you choose your level the good bit is having shine sprites to get on this island. the youshi's are great but shame they cant swim the sound is good the music goes well and when the shadow mario paints stuff that sounds good. this game is worth what it costs a game you dont really get board of.
| The platform king polishes his crown | | Webbno7 from Galway Ireland says (11/Dec/2002): | It's been a long wait for us and Mario himself the poor fella's had to spend eight years back at the day job cleaning drains. He must have been as eager as us for Princess peach to get herself kidnapped again. At the start the game seems a little easy, but any thoughts that this might be a kids game soon evaporate. The varity and depth of game play are brillant. From cleaning scum off the streets of Delfino, to growing gaint water melons, to the old school delights of collecting coins in a set time period. Prehaps the most enjoyable aspect of this game is when you're transported back to the very early Mario games with 2D style gaming in 3D. It is these sections which offer the hardest challange, but it is also these that show us that for all the advances in gaming you just can't beat the felling of jumping from one platfrom to another with nothing but death below, and your heart in your mouth.
But this is platforming of the highest order, and for all the impersonators and rip offs, no one can make a game like nintendo and no one can star in one like the fat, Itailian plumber
| SuperMarioSunshine: typical game | | grif from New York, USA says (20/Jun/2003): | Super mario is know for it's long legacy in nintendo. From the NES all the way to the gamecube it has chaged the way we look at video games. Super mario sunshine is no exception. The greatest things about this game is it's graphics, it's gameplay and it's story. The graphics in this game are one of the best I have seen in a long time. It has vibrant colors such as pink, purple and orange(the colors of Yoshi). Everything is taken into consideration for the gaphics. The graphics are so detailed you can see a shoadow on every creature or inhabitant on isle Delfino. Another good thing about the game is it's story. Unlike Mario 64 it has a working story-line which this: When Mario arrives on Isle Delfino, the once pristine island has been pollutted with graffiti. Even worse Mario has been blamed for the mess!!! Now Mario has to clean up and hunt down the real culpret. Personally I like the addition of Mario's water pack(FLUUD). The bad things about this game are it's levels(not enough)and it's difficulty(too easy). Overall this game is not for everyone but it is very fun to play.
| ***The BEST "Super Mario" Game since "Paper Mario and Super Mario 64" | | Ricardo Rose from Toronto, Ontario says (23/Jun/2003): | Super Mario Sunshine is one of the best games I have rated. I liked this game for many different reasons and I find that others find these reasons quite similar to their opinions.Firstly, the graphics in this game are amazingly great. The water shimmers in the sunlight (Trust me the water looks so realistic), The sky also looks quite realistic too. Even though the idea of "Shine Sprites" may be a little childish for those who play action/adventure games, this game is among the best in my opinion.Although, Super Mario Sunshine looks easy as many may think, Its actually not that predictable.A lot of saving people and cleaning up is crutial in this game. (The game is basically based upon saving and cleaning up any way).I also like the adventure part of the game as well as the new moves that Mario has. (I alsmost forgot,You can control Yoshi like in the other Mario Games). In conclusion, I would like to state once more that Super Mario Sunshine is the best Mario Game so far. Hopefully, another Mario game will come out in the future. A bigger and better one too.
| best MARIO so far | | sir games alot from perth western australia wa says (19/Nov/2002): | now i love this game the graphics is just great the nice color its so refreshing and vibrent now. No afense but i prefere sonic cunpaired to mario but this game makes me love this cute little plumer a lot more this game is a lot bigger and better than the mario 64 i hired it and kept it for another 3 night it was so good i loved beating the mecha bowser that shoot rocket as you ride the rollercoaster and shoot rocket at it with your flood.. now i thought this was more of a kiddy's game but its not and the fludd pack put me off but in the levels with out the flud you wonder how you do with out it i havnt passed it yet but i like jr bowser and a pollished buffed up juice shooting yoshi is back. The game cube engine is great and this great console is just going to get better i wonder what's in store for mario and luigi in there next big game maybe they can team up in an adventur two player game i no wario's comeing out it looks good but not as good as this game the water the sun the sky the land every liveing breathing thing in this game looks good.
