This is the best game I've ever played. There's perfect music, characters, gameplay, graphics, and sounds, what else could you ask for. I haven't beat the game and I think it will be a very fun game for all ages. My things that I like about this game is the yoshis, the sound that you hear when you get a shine sprite, the upgrade turbodrive, and baby bowser (in disguise as Mario) Oh and on petey pirahna strikes back use the things that go to your jet or whatever and shoot the water when there on it and aim at petey pirahna. Then you have to chase and go on top of a building and spray petey pirahna a couple of times then he'll fall on the ground then spray him and repeat this acouple of times and when dies get the shin sprite and there you have it ok.

This game was so much fun! It is much different from the other Mario Games made before because mario has FLUDD, a waterpack. I was really impressed with the graphics. They really bring the game to life. The game wasn't too hard, but I got stuck on a few levels. Even after I beat it, it will be fun to play on my favorite levels. These were serina beach and pinna park. Pinna Park is an amusement park with a roller coaster and other rides. The music in pinna park is great to listen to. It is so energetic that it is perfect for an amusement park. I also like the music in many other levels. The main point of the game is to get shine sprites but there is much more to the game than that. There is collecting blue coins and saving peach. Super Mario Sunshine has a great plot. It is more than just Peach getting captured. I would recommend this game for anyone!

Super Mario Sunshine is an awesome game. I think the grapics are one of the best improvements. The levels/courses are really pretty and colorful and it feels like you're really there. The water is also awesome. It moves and looks like water should. The water that comes from FLUDD is also very realistic and you can see the individual drops.
Sounds are fun and cute and some are remixes from past mario games which are fun to hear again.
Yoshi is re-introduced into this game as well and I think this was a really cute idea. I havn't seen Yoshi in a game for a really long time and he plays a cute role in Super Mario Sunshine.
The difficulty level varies. Some episodes are veeeery frusturating. There is one episode on every level where you get FLUDD taken away and you have to do an obstical course type thing with out it. This is extremely difficult.. and I have a couple marks on my controler from it hitting the wall a few times.. But I do think it was a good idea to add these courses in there, because it builds your skill in the game. It also makes you not so dependant on FLUDD because you are pretty much forced to practice moves/jumps etc. without it. And even though these "mini courses" are difficult.. they are rather addicting.. and you will most likely find yourself trying again after you're done being mad at it.
Yes, the ending to this game was very dissapointing. I was definiatly expecting a little more.. But over all I think this is an awesome game and is completely worth your money. There are a lot of suprises, fun characters, and amazing graphics that will make you want to keep playing. Isle Delfino is definatly worth a visit.

ok, first off... i would like to review the reviews. Reviews are generally there to HELP people! if you don't like something about the game or the game in general, just calmly say why... theres no need to be rude about anything, it's just a game, theres no need to get so pissed off about it. If you don't like it, fine... either say why or go and get a different game. ANYWHO! i'm quite slow with any games cuz i rarely have time so this was long enough for moi, but may vary to the gamer. Considerin Mario isn't meant to be lifelike -stares at a reviewer- the graphics were fine. I find any sound on computer games annoying, i just wish they would always let you add your own so meh to the sound. the storyline and plot of the game is just... weak. i don't mind fantasy games (zelda,sonic ect) but com'on... is that all they could come up with? excluding the storyline the game makes up with its actual gameplay, it's a challenge through different levels, and i like that except some were too short and easy. Overall the gameplay is great and always brings you something new... it doesn't compare with mario 64. i never actually completed that game, but i was too young n crap at games =P but anywayz, even though it isn't as good as mario 64, this game in general is worth its money and i reccomend to give it a try no matter what reviews say cuz obviously it has shown to have some very extreme reviews... its one of those you either love it or hate it.

It was one of the best games I've ever played. It was way betterthan the very first mario.The creators did a good job with the graphics. The creators did an exelent job at making it very hard.They also did a fantastic job at making everything look like it was so real.

ok i played this game thinking it would be normal cool mario. instead they gave him a hella gay water pack and made all the characters all smiley looking its like all happy go lucky and stuff and it pi$$es me off. why cant they make another good game like super mario 64. the only cool thing about this game was the bowser at the end which kicked rear why cant they just make mario like he looked in super smash bros he rules in that now hes all gay and cell shaded thats another thing that sucks the stupid cell shaded stuff it was cool how bowser talked tho that was pretty sweet i really didnt like the squirter thing at all there were a few cool new jumps but besides that it was bad it was cool how you could get a hawiian shirt and glasses that was sweet

This Game is a great game when coming to a mario game and what i like is the fact where the levels have eight parts to them. Some levels are easy but when you come to niko harbour it is hard on the first episode and it is uncork the waterfull. the graphics on this game are good but when you go into a view where you are behind a wall is very annoying.the game is fun and exciting advenure but if you dont have a memory card it is boring because you are starting again and again and that is annoying. this game could be made better if you could be the princess or another charactor or even be on the dark side so someone like bowser or bowsers son.over all the game is good and fun with fludd with rocket nozzel, hover nozzel and the turbo nozzel. the best part of this game is when you start and you are on the island where you choose your level the good bit is having shine sprites to get on this island. the youshi's are great but shame they cant swim the sound is good the music goes well and when the shadow mario paints stuff that sounds good. this game is worth what it costs a game you dont really get board of.

Super mario is know for it's long legacy in nintendo. From the NES all the way to the gamecube it has chaged the way we look at video games. Super mario sunshine is no exception. The greatest things about this game is it's graphics, it's gameplay and it's story. The graphics in this game are one of the best I have seen in a long time. It has vibrant colors such as pink, purple and orange(the colors of Yoshi). Everything is taken into consideration for the gaphics. The graphics are so detailed you can see a shoadow on every creature or inhabitant on isle Delfino. Another good thing about the game is it's story. Unlike Mario 64 it has a working story-line which this: When Mario arrives on Isle Delfino, the once pristine island has been pollutted with graffiti. Even worse Mario has been blamed for the mess!!! Now Mario has to clean up and hunt down the real culpret. Personally I like the addition of Mario's water pack(FLUUD). The bad things about this game are it's levels(not enough)and it's difficulty(too easy). Overall this game is not for everyone but it is very fun to play.

Super Mario Sunshine seems to be the best games for Gamecube! It's a bit like Luigi's Mansion when Luigi has the Ghost-sucking Vacuum Cleaner on his back. Now, Mario has the Fludd thing on his back for squirting water. The story mode is quite funny, but all the time finding Blue Coins and washing paints and that are a bit of a challenge! What's the point of having Yoshi hate water? Yoshi swims on other games! Some Piantas are immature to you at first, but they'll sure be very nice. Mario looks better on Gamecube.

Take all of the mario games and add a little bit of paradise and you get Super mario sunshine!!!!!!!! The talking water pack you get is the bomb!!! Mario needs to catch an imposter mario who is graffiting all over This game is challenging and may take a while to beat so another reason worth buying it. The gameplay is the best the levels are fun and mario rules!!!!! Buy this game and you won't regret it!!

At first the game was good I thought it would be like luigies's manshine and clean up all the mess in leavels then I found out you did not and was pretty happy.But the game lacks what all the other mario games had good leavels and I thought this one was more for kids and was easyer then all the other mario's.But altoghether the game is good and fun mario games but I liked luigie's mansion better then this.

This game is too short,I got all stars (120) And I just bought the game 4 weeks ago,It sucked! I hated it sooooooo mush,I'd never play it again when I beaten It,Cause I was Really Angry with Nintendo that they made it soooooo short,I can't believe how short it is,Last game was 15 worlds,this one only has 7!!!!! I am very disapointed with nintendo,Myamoto always makes a long game,But this game was Like a Demo!!! So,If you want to have a great game,make it Zelda,The Wind Waker,cause This game was toooooo short!!!! And If you don't take my Advise,Prepare to be mad at the end,But if your not sure,Just take my advise don't listen to all the other people,They just want you to waste money.

My friend imported Super Mario Sunshine and I have to tell you it rocks. The gameplay is classic, and will amaze gamers of all ages. The levels are cool and creative. I didnt play the whole import version but what I've played kicks booty.

Super Mario Sunshine is the BEST Mario game I have ever played!! It's got everything, sunny happy graphics, ride Yoshi, FLUDD (Mario's pack), and the levels are huge! You could spend about 2-3 hours exploring a level. That's how big they are! The controls are VERY easy to use for anything! This game has got it all! when it comes out in america, buy it, you won't be dissapointed!

I just got S.M.S. but I really like it! Every once in a while I have noticed a couple glitches, but the graphice and the gameplay rock! One thing I've found, however, is that it can get a little boring when you keep getting knocked off a high platform after you're about to get the Sprite (like in Noki Bay, if you stand too close to the cork when it comes out, you get knicked across the whole bay and have to get out of the water, through the sludge and back to the sprite) Email me at: vash__the__stampede< remove me > at trigun.org if you wanna chat ^___^

Well, just got my copy of Sunshine a few days ago, so I figured I would post my "review". First of all. I gotta say, I have always been a devoted fan of Mario and his whole series, so when I heard that there was a new GC game, I was thrilled!
I love how the game opens, the scene that you land in (no pun intended) is not a pretty one, with a large Mario shaped painted graffiti, and an odd, M shaped signature.
The start of the game is wonderful, especially the FLUDD instruction program (FLUDD has such a cute voice!) the game's mechanics are wonderful, although the lack of a crouch button upsets me, as I loved the long jump and the backflip techniques. wall jumping is not new, but they have honed the skill to make it easy and useful. FLUDD is an extremely ingenious innovation and gives a very large edge to the game. It may not feel like the normal "jump ona de head" Mario, but it is a neat concept.
I love the beautiful scenery, and the water and fire effects are breathetaking, although I was a litte upset with the lack of detail. Mario looks very. . .bland, compared to his Super Smash Bros. Melee counterpart. the only other detail that bothers me are the total blobs worth of villagers.. It bothered me that they were no more then beady eyes on colored blob.
Yoshi... so many problems with Yoshi.. anyone who has played Super Mario World for SNES knows that Yoshi is supposed to be a versitile, wonderful staple to aid you.. he could fly with you, swim with you, eat anything, stomp, spit fire, you name it.. but now.. he can triple jump, flutter, eat stuff and spit juice, he cannot touch large bodies of water, or he melts. meaning no more swimming, he cannot fly or spit fire.. I was extremely bothered..
This game is wonderful, innovative and original. This game would get a ten except for the Yoshi problems. I highly suggest purchasing this game if you haven't already. 9/10

Who cannot like this game?? Probably someone who can't see the utter brilliance that it is. The graphics and sound are amazing, and, even when you've beaten it, you'll want to play it all again. This game is pure brilliance. I laugh at the fool who does not play this game and realise that there is nothing better. You will enjoy every minute of this game, and, even when the difficulty increases significantly, you will hardly ever feel that you are being unfairly treated. Although there are a few camera problems that I struggled with, you can rotate it freely as you please, giving you a much better view. I close by saying, if you have not got this game, you dont know what your missing.

This game is absolutely brilliant! "Even though i like Luigi's Mansion, i think this game rocks! The colours are great, the sound is relaxing... way better than the other Marios. My point is: if you have a Gamecube, then get it! i hope there will be a Mario as good or better coming out.

I thought this game was great. They should make another one but with Luigi and Mario playing at the same time. They should mix Luigi"s Mansion & Mario Sunshine into one game. They shouldnt take turns like the Super Nintendo Mario. They have to play at the same time. Yoshi must be able to swim in the water. This game has to have hot graphics. Bowser's son can come back and have revenge for his father. Mario & Luigi can both ride their own Yoshi. The game must be two players, Mario and Luigi. Mario has his pump. Luigi has his vacume. I hope this game version comes out. IT WILL BE SOOOOO! HOT!

this game is outstanding. The beginning is confusing and very much a bore but as you start to get into the advenurous more tropical levels it will blow you away! the levels have so much to do on them and the gameplay has such a great tropical feel to it. i have to say this is the best game for the GC so far
