this game shows what nintendo is really capiable of the same characteristics of super mario 64 but better the water pack fluid has some cool abilities the story line is awsome and the grapics are even better but the camera can get in some funky places and you might not be able to see mario the game is awsome and it has many levels for mutiple days of fun this game is good for all ages i would recomend this game to friends

Within the first few minutes I played Super Mario Sunshine I knew: I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! Now I'm not saying mario 64 was bad but the two games just can't possibly be compared. Mario sunshine is one of the most creative and interesting games I have ever played, not to mention fun!! There is virtually nothing wrong with the game, the camera control is great, I think the camera in Mario Sunshine is the easiest camera to control in platform gaming. Also you can get mario to almost any and every edge, platform, etc. Another great feature of this game is that almost everything you see you can get to. If you're falling and there is a tree under you, you hit the tree and bounce off instead of falling right through it, sure this isn't something huge but hey in games people want it detailed and realistic right? I was origanally going to rate this game a 10 out of 10 but now that I think about it there is one HUMONGUS problem, invisible walls. There is NOTHING worse than invisible walls, you're running along and BAM! straight into and invisible wall the only other problem I had with this game is it is to short there aren't that many shines, theres only like 70 or 80 not counting getting 100 coins Other than that this is a great game and to anyone who doesn't have this game BUY IT, NOW! Mario Sunshine is one of the best games I've played in my life

At first, yes, the grass may be a bit flat and the walls may not be that realistic but from the moment your thumb touches the joystick its sort of like you have jumped into the role of mario. You dont even have to concentrate on getting the shines, you can just bounce on the typeropes or run on rooves, but whatever you do you will just keep coming back for more even if its to play about with fludd. The sound of this game is brillliant. Every move Mario makes he makes a little "whoop" or a "whaa" even if its just when your doing a jump. Where ever you go to in Ilse Defino you'll have the feeling in the back of your mind that your missing out somewhere else and as soon as you have completed the mission you are currently on you will soon be in another part of the island and you will get the same feeling once again. Usually in a Mario game the princess get kidnapped and you have to do your best to rescue her but in this game there is alot more to it. This game has alot more of a story-line than previous mario games, that will drag you inside of the game and this story-line itself is very original. If you have a GameCube then you have to get "Super Mario Sunshine" no matter what!!!

This game ultimately sucks. It is the same thing as Luigi's Mansion. Instead of using a vacume Mario uses a stupid water pack! and in Luigi's Mansion theres a mansion, in Super Mario sunshine its sunshine. Then in Luigis Mansion u have to find a person, Mario! In Mario Sunshine u have to find a person Peach! So this game is just a copy! I reccomend u get Luigi's Mansion Instead! PS.Theres another copy comin out, Wario World (Wonder what u have to do in that) DUHHHH!

This game is alot like the first. You have the jumping italian plummer, a damsel in distress, and of course bowser. To Mario 64 i will give a 9, to this game I will give a 7. The thing that lowers this game score is the weapon you use, a sort of water gun hover thing. It's cool they wanted to make this game different, but they could of thought of something else. The storyline is okay, atleast it's a little more detailed than the first. An evil shadow mario is ruining the lovely isle delfino. That's a summary. The graphics in this game are pretty cool, and i liked them because they were adorable. But I'm sure this only appeals to girl players. Overall this is an entertaining game, with the oh so classic mario plot that lives up to my expectations.

Alright. I was born in 1988, I've been playing mario since i was 2. I schooled my older cousins and family members at it. I got my gamecube in christmas 2002, and this game came with it. The game is great, the story is good, the graphics are amazing, i love how shiny mario is(I love shiny things), I had a blast beating it. it has alot of gameplay, probably around 20 hours. i only got 80 shines, but thats ok, the game was still long even when you don't collect all the shines. rifing yoshi was a turn offf, because he was so vulnerable and hard to get and there was only 1 egg of him. overall the game was good which is why it get's an 8/10

this game suks. the game play is so frustrating. i have proof that mario will jump late on some levels and that he wont grab on to the ledge he is jumping to. I have the strat guide and i still am stumped on this one level that seems to unbeet able. o yeh evil mario on the last level can only be caught in one place because he is rigged to. there is a horrible story and i cant se why people like it
in my opinion mario should fall down a hole while eating a poisned mushroom and yoshi suking his dick

I hate this game. It is worst than the mario games on the Nintendo. I recomend not buying it because the sound sucks. Graphics are like the simpson series of games. I wish the mario company would get a contract on the XBOX or PS2. Don't buy this game or waste50$ .!< remove me > at #$

I will be honest with you and i wont say the graphics are crap because they are the only decent thing about the game. The idea of squirting water at paint is rubbish. Collecting sun sprites is just the worst idea and you can never get them all when you have finnished. At some points in the game you dont even know what to do next so you spend your time walking round levels foe hours working out what to do. Mario has really gone out of fashion this time and hopefully will stay away. The Worst game on the gamecube. Lets bring a SEQUAL out for luigis mansion.
