I am not one to play video games, but when we bought this game for my little girl I was hooked. At first I thought this game was going to be boring and tasteless, but soon I found out otherwise. You can fish, catch bugs, plant both flowers and saplings, do favors for others, hunt for cash, pay off your debts, take trips, buy and trade items and did I mention you can FISH?!?!?!? This game is awesome. The only drawback is that we own only one console and one copy of the game.

OK, i have to start this of saying that i have been playing video games for 12 years of the 14 i have been living and i must say, this game is unlike any other! This game features hundreds maybe thousands of different things you can do. From fishing to catching bugs, to writing letters. You can get a job and pay off your debt. You can expand your house and this game even has a "stalk" market. (similar to the stock market, but with turnips) This game features in addition to everything i have already stated, a real time based system which runs on a real clock. For instance, if you are in December, there will be snow on the ground and if you are in July, everything is green. There are a lot of cheats for this game. Also, If you have a brother or sister who likes this game and you have two memory cards, you can travel by train to there town and shop at there Nook's store. Also, you may see starfish, (or Patrick as my brothers refer to them) on the ground and dig them up for a fossil, furnature, or gyroid. This game is overall one of the best games i have ever played and i highly recommend it to anyone of any age.

This is the game of the millenium if anyone can make a better game I would lick there feet if anyone hates it i will personly kick there < remove me > at ss no if you have gamecube you probaly have the game no one could turn it down the sound is cool reason... because it is normal talking at a higher speed the game play is awsome is there anything this game cant do you is you know the right codes you could probaly skydive with a manfish the drinks blood. The people in the game have over 10,000 thin to say graphics give them a 5 on a scale of 1-3 the only game like it is a ps2 game initials H M and it doesnt compare and know other rpg has talking animals and let you decorate your own house and have police and stores and being able to fish catch bugs grow crop vist other towns and go to island. You can mail letters have partiesgo trick or treat get a present from santa clause (A Reindeer) do jobs have count down party on new years eve have a birthday party and many more stuff.If you stay up late between 12:00 pm till 4:00 you are able to talk to ghost and catch them. If there is going to be AM2 i would be so crazy till i get it

ok, i was in my room, reading a nintendo power. i saw an article for a game called animal crossing. i didnt bother to read the article at first, actually, i avoided it. but, finally the time came for me to read the article. i did. and it was love at first paragraph. im a 17 year old punk gamer. and i love animal crossing. i read the article in like, july, and i was so anxious about getting the game, that i drove 2 towns over to reserve my copy that same day. for a little under 2 months i was so anxious about getting the game that i was literally in physical pain. you know? that feeeling when you want something so badly and with all your heart that your chest feels like its caving in? thats the one. oh yes, thats the one. finally, the magic day of september 17th came. i drove over there(my cousin with me)and picked it up.
when we got back home, my cousin told me, "wait! we should savor this momen before we play it!" i looked at him, and said "whats all this 'we' crap youre talkin about?" i popped the disk in, turned it on, and fell it love.(again). the weight had been lifted, the game was in my posession, the world was ening, and i didnt care. you know why? because i was negotiating sound settings with a talking dog ith a guitar. oh, yes! a guitar.
and the rest, is history. this isnt a game you can rent, oh no, you have to buy this game to fully experince......perfection.

Okay, I would always go over to these folks' house and they would be playing this game called Animal Crossing. I looked at it, saw how they all sat and ooh-ed and aah-ed over this game that looked so stupid! A little guy holding a shovel, looking for holes to dig? I asked "What is the point of this game?" They told me, "You just go around and do stuff." What was the point of this game? I never had my question answered! So, for some reason, I went out and I actually bought the game, I played it, I AM HOOKED! I can't believe it! I used to make fun of the people I saw playing this ridiculous looking game; fishing, selling turnips, WHAT? This game, by far, is the best game I have played since as long as I can remember. Now, I know there are gonna be some others just like me saying "What is the point of this game?" And I say to them, "You just go around and do stuff!" Play it, you will be hooked too! This game is a magnificent piece, and it is for everyone and I promise you, you will be hooked too!

When I first heard about it from my friend I nearly laughed my head off. But as soon as I saw the commercial for it it changed my mind. I begged my dad and finally he took me to Best Buy. I've had it for almost four months and I haven't even done half the things I could do. This is the only game I have ever played that is flawless. And I've played video games for eight years!

Animal Crossing is great, because anyone can play it..
Almost everything about it relates to real life except the talking animals and the bells popping out of things...
There's a lot of events that are really fun to go to, and when u get a bigger home you just wanna make it bigger and bigger and fill it up with all sorts of junk..LOL!! I like this game a lot ... I try and play almost every single day. If you don't like it then that means you haven't encountered any fun things in the game!!! It's great to know I'm not the only one who likes this game a lot!!!!

Animal crossing is great!! I only played it for an hour at my freinds house and I was hooked! I played it in december so my fav part was when we went to the lost and found and stole everything!! I also liked planting stuff for the shop keeper.... but now I hate my life cuz I cant play it 24/7... so dont play it untill you buy it renting it or trying it out could be fatelto your health!!

I am in love with this game, and i only got it about a week ago. me and my friend can not stop playing it. and over a weeks time we have gotten fat and lazy (lol) this game is totally addictive but the only down side is, is that me and my friend are nockternel pretty much so everything is closed and everyone is asleep so we cant to errands. and that it takes up so much room on your memory card, but i guess it is worth it. i gave this game a 9 and 1/2 (it wouldnt let me put that)

Animal Crossing!
I know how a lot of parents get onto their kids for not doing something that expands their minds, or is educational... I know mine do! I almost always get in trouble for sitting for hours at a time, playing games that don't stretch my knowledge or teach me something. However, Animal Crossing is the single exception.
It's almost like real life, with a twist. You have to learn how to manage money in order to pay off debts, which is something that would likely happen in one's life. You have to learn how to get along with others, and how to help others in order to help yourself. There are many things one could learn from playing this game... yet it's fun at the same time! There are parties to go to, people to talk to, places to visit and so much more! The possibilites could never end!
I'm so glad Nintendo decided to make this game... In my opinion, it's one of the best! Cheers!

Well first you name your character, decide if its a boy or girl, then move to a cool town and get a house! You dont have enough money so you get a part-time job at Tom Nooks store! Then you pay it off and are debt free, unless you want a bigger house, you just keep making money and giving to Tom Nook and getting really awesome things, and making your house bigger and bigger and getting awesome items and planting orchards, and I dont want to give anymore away so screw renting, just buy the game!

The greatest game, but some times it's hard. Like when you have to owe Tom Nook 290,000 bells and when people take all of your bells for somthing thats bad and you have to work for your bells. iT'S Cool when it's your birthday and people give you stuff. But when you wait in the train it's boring. Another thing is that you hook up your gameboy advance and do cool stuff. If you just bought a Gamecube buy ANIMAL CROSSING!! It's the best game ever do not stop to think about buying it buy it now!!!

this game can only be explained as the best it ROCKS it actually made me stop and take a second look at how much its like life its so funny to reset and get mr.ressetty get mad. i got codes and cheats from the internet and i can get all of the rare items in the game. the only part that i dont like is how when you put the time ahead thousands of weeds grow but i always pick them so i can try to get the golden axe

It's true. This is the greatest game ever. I'm usually not addicted to these things, but this one is great. I think about it when I go to bed at night. I really bought it for my 9 year old daughter. It is the only game she likes to play as well. It's something we talk about and we get into disputes about trading items with each other (she's selfish!). We create other towns and visit them, collecting fruit and items from the junk yard and take them back to our hometown to sell at a huge profit because they're unusual. You would be amazed at the number of things there are to do. Each town you create is a different configuration with different characters. We first started playing it on New Years day, so we stayed up to see what would happen in our town. We went to the river bank and received a noisemaker from the mayor and at midnight fireworks went off and we made noise with our noisemaker. It was so darned cute! The next day we sold the noisemaker to Nook's Cranny for 450 Bells. That was a deal. It's just amazingly amazing. I hope they come out with a second version that is a 2 player game. That would be something.

This is a really addictive game. It's like movin out to your own town!!! You can have friends, decorate your house, go fishing, run errands, go to festivals, etc.!!! It's a really good game for those boring rainy days or if you have a friend ova!!

This is one of the greatest gamecube games ever. For one its almost like real life, the things that blow it off are the animal people and maybe some more. I havent got a full aspect of this game yet I got it for christmas so right now all I have to say is this game is great for everything it has in it! So the reason I happen to be typeing all this wasteing my time when I could be paying off my debt. to Nook. So pretty much this is one of the greatest gamecube games ever. I really like this game so far and sometimes I do get mad at it for reasons like when I tryed putting the snowman together it just wouldnt work. Man I was frusterated. The reason you should have this game is because it is alot like real life now days, its mad fun to play, can have some fun with friends, 4 names at a memory card save block data thing (one of my long things to type),and lastly because this game is just so addicting it can really keep you playing it for a long time. I stayed up for about 10-15 hours playing it christmas day. LOL! Well Bye People. Email me for some help as codes cheats hints I have an official guide book so I can help you!
