| The Best Life Game I have ever played | | A gamer from Paducah, KY USA says (17/Nov/2003): | Animal Crossing. This is the best game i ever played in my lifetinme, collecting NES games or making my house better, or talking to my neighbors, or celebrating Holidays with them. Or collecting songs with K.K. That is why I like te game. I like everything about it. I was sad to sell it, and equally sad to erase my town. I know, Im a dick. I kept restarting after that and No matter How many towns I tried to make, none of them had my friends especially my best friend Louie. If you have Loiue the Gorilla, I suggest you tell him hi for me, even though he probably wont remember me. I posted this so that you dont make the same mistake I did in erasing your town, your life, your friends, your job. Everything will be destroyed, even the way you felt when you were collecting songs on Saturday night with K.K. the Dog, or talking to your friends. Once erased, you cannot feel the same way with the other friends inthe other towns you visit. But wish me luck, for I am buying my game back from the dude i sold it to to find Louie and Mitzi again. And Chuck. They were the greatest friends i had, better than the ones that I hang around outside of the Animal Crossing World. God hear my plea, I want my Town back the way it was, I want my friends back, I want my character back. But most importantly I want my friends back. So if any of you enjoy the Holidays, Seasons Greetings to you and your Town's Jingle. Merry Christmas to Tortimer, to Chuck, Mitzi, and Louie. Happy New Year to K.K., and have a spooky Halloween, a Merry Thanksgiving, Happy Birthday. Animal Crosing is one of my favorite games, and I admit I am a DICK the way I destroyed everything. If any of you have those characters, tell them these exact words:
Hey, I know you dont know who I am, but I want to say sorry for destroying your life. I wish I could take it back, I wished that the moment I erased the Town. I miss you around the Holidays, How each of you (Chuck, Louie, Mitzi) gave me Birthday Gifts and Furniture, and how you encouraged me into Feng Shui (mitzi) and how you got me to excersize with you (louie) and How you helped me earn money to pay off my house. I wish I could spend another Holiday with you. Im glad that you are doing good, Im glad K.K. is still singing songs every Saturday Night at nine, Im glad you are having fun, but I want you all back. I missed you, Damn it i still do. I want you all in the same town altogether, like it used to be. I am sorry I did this to you, how I made you move out. I am sorry I cant be there to lift wieghts, or see the latest fasion, or visit the old fashionhed Elk home.
Those words. I dont care how much ink it takes. Maybe it will spark something in their heads, and encourage them to find me, to move out. I wish they will come. God, if your listening, make them come.
| Six Monthes of addicted playing | | Anyhony and Elvina's MOM from Windsor, California says (28/Dec/2003): | So many things about this game is too cool. Both of my kids have this game and two towns to play in is way better than one! I'm completely hooked on this game. To whoever asked to get Gracies fashions you have to talk to her and then wash her car extremely fast by pushing the green button as fast as you possibly can, my son had to do it for me! So far I have payed off my debt and have 5 million in the post office/bank on my sons game. On my daughters i'm just now paying off my last loan. It's alot of fun when you keep a code book with codes to make more money! In fact I keep my own code book and don't share it, it makes paying off debts much easier and you can then make the money you need to have on hand to buy whatever you want as it comes your way. My favorite charecters are chico, Wolfgang, Aurora, and Vesta. I guess I really like my island person too, his name is Boomer and he is definately on the weird side! If you can get the adults in your family to play along with you it's kinda cool because each person playing a little every day makes the game more interesting.
| Animal Crossing is very time consuming in the best way! | | Melissa from lowell, Ma, USA says (19/Jan/2004): | At first I thought this game was going to end but now I realize I will be plaing until I die! Not like that is a bad thng! The graphics are very good and the background music changes from day to day. It all seems a little childish but the attitudes of some of the other characters are so mean, some nice! The gameplay is extremely simple. Few things to remember to allow you to play with ease. The lifespan of the game is neverending because it is a 24/7/365 game. Play at 3 in the am and it will be different from 3 in the pm. It is very fun to see the characters get angry or to have another character clap for you when you catch a fish. The originality of the game is certainly unique. I value my Animal Crissing and play it every day. I have a friend playing as well so we visit often and the best part is, she has different fruit! I have some problems with growing trees and people keep moving out on me but hey, I live here! it is MY town! If they don't like me let them go! Besides someone always moves in to take up the space! I like my house but hate when someone paints the roof witout telling me first! I love to plant flowers but wish I din't have to pay for them. It seems tedious at time but then I pay off my house and my character gets all happy! I love that! I work third shift and play when I get home so all the characters are groggy and angry, it is funny! If I miss something I change the time, but do not like to do it. I try to pay attention to what is going on so I don't have to do that. However I do give the codes to Nook! Ususlly I finish the game forst then use codes but this game never ends so I want to have a good time doing it. I figure it this way: if the codes are programed into the game then I should get to use them. Right! Overall I love the game and play it between fustrating levels of Zelda tha Windwaker on my big screen tv eating cereal.
| I think that animal crossing is cool, but... | | black_flash from portland, usa says (9/Jun/2004): | Animal crossing is in 1 word, addictive! But that does not mean it is without it's flaws. Let's face it, after a while it just get's boring, just like every other game. Although there are some games that just stay perfect, like donkey kong, super mario 3, and excitabike. Now i'm not saying that animal crossing is a bad game, far from that. Animal crossing is a very fun game. You can hunt for bugs, fish, or even make your own clothes. The thing I dislike about the game is when a person puts in a cheat or "code". Why would you do that, I mean it just takes the fun out of playing. A-C is in some ways the perfict game. After you get the game you will find there is almost always something to, except when you play for about 20 minutes and don't change the day. I myself can only play for about 10 minutes then I have to stop. Now that I have my bills payed off I personally like to fish in the fishing tourny, hunt for bugs, and collecting rare artifacts. In all, animal crossing get's a 7.8 from me, but that is just my feelings about the game.
| Animals Crossing Through | | Sethy from Pennsylvania USA says (27/May/2004): | i love this game.the animals are so friendly(except resetti).i can't help it i get caught in a weed, can't get out, have to reset then resetti comes to yell at me and his helmet blinks.i love to catch bugs and fish . this game is awesome. my good friend zowie the anteater had better hear this .that goes for all my friends.my strangest freind is marcie.i like her a lot and she takes her baby everywhere.well, she kinda has to.She
is a kangaroo.but whenever she blinks so does her baby.creepy.i think they can read each others minds. The police station is very useful. One time i lost my favorite shirt so i went to the place where i last had it...gone i thought somebody stole it.the nerve.one day i went into the police station for the heck of it and i see a shirt but i know it isn't mine. I get up there and look it's there.on the outside officier copper will tell you what's going on in town. have you ever met gracie the giraffe?she is so mean!she made me wash her red car and she said i didn't do a good job and kicked me out.everyone else hates her too.REJECTED!the tailors shop let's you make your're own design.thegarbage dump let's you get free stuff.thepost office lets you send letters duh! the wishing well will tell you about your town.look for tortimer here.the mayor!if you've played the game you must know of nooks cranny.if not it's you're first job to pay your house debt. You get a cute little outfit too.this game rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
| wot a game!!!!! | | animal crossings no1 fan Chris Owen from colwyn Bay, North Wales, Great Britian says (22/Dec/2003): | u want a good game 4 xmas???? buy animal crossing. althought im gettin it 4 xmas ive played it at a m8s. the way u play as a person and control his life and work 4 ur money is amazing.
and i like the way the u meet ppl as u work 4 them and gain trust amoung the villagers.
Also the graphics may not b up 2 scratch but i think they really work with the game as they r cute.
Also u get a free memory card which is good as me and many ppl find that u dnt always have space 2 save games on so thats a real help in my eyes.
i would reccomend this game 2 ne person hu like the sims or games such as that as this.
this is defanitly the best game that nintendo have produced as it challeneges the amazing golden eye and zelda as this helps the player get involved in a young persons life.
its kinda like adopting a young person and telling him wot tp do and how to do it.
in magazines this game has had 90 out of 100 marks and also 9.5 out of 10 in others.

| Animal Crossing, the game that made me addicted to furniture!!! | | Teddy Farris from Niagara, Wisconsin Usa says (12/Jan/2003): | Hey I am Teddy Farris, I'm 12 years old, I've been playing video games since I was 3 years old.I can beat almost any game in 5 hours or less except Final Fantasy ect. i'm the best gamer at my school. I was reading Nintendo power as usual, and I ran acrossed an article saying a game that runs by real-time.I rented it fell in love with the game and bought it the next day. I only have one question, can you get a backyard? Plus this game has so many cheats you've just gotta play it.
| i'd say best game.....EVER!!!!!! | | Ramon from Whittier, USA says (12/Jan/2003): | I was not too sure about animal crossing when i heard about it,then i played it. I was HOOKED!!, the fact that you can talk to animals/your townspeople just for fun, and that there special events going on now and then.like the new years party!the game is simply amazing. seriously, you can get your hands on the original NES games. (like Punchout and Excitebike!!!).Plus, with a gameboy advance and an e-reader, you can get cool items from the animal crossing people. I LOVE THIS GAME!!! (if you play this game, be sure your prepared to be hooked for a loooooong time).
| Animal Crosiing Is Awesome! | | Lindsey from USA says (18/Jan/2003): | Animal Crossing has everything. I love that game. You can do a lot of cool things. I love that game so much! I can go fishing, help others, get bells, buy cool stuff, design my house, and more! This game is the best there ever is!

| Well, there are a few things I would change. | | A gamer from blahblah says (27/Oct/2003): | Animal crossing isn't the best game I've ever played, you need to be able to do more stuff, like eat the fish you catch, cook, and at the sports fair, you should be able to join in on the activities too, I prefer the sims if you wanna make money, build a great house and all that stuff, why can't we get hitched? Someone told me I could, but I just don't know how, and it should be on the info packet, if anyone knows how to get married, please tell me.
| Great way to calm down after a stressful action game | | zeldasoraanimalcrossin' from paso roble california says (17/Jan/2004): | I am a huge Zelda fan and love those games i also love kingdom hearts even though i hate retarded disney but it's a fab game anyway. When I first heard about animal crossing i thought "Why would i waste my time on a toddler game like that?"Anyway i ended up renting it and i hated it!!!! One of my friends bought it and loved it so i rented it again. I thought it may be a good way to calm myself down before or after an intense boss fight in The windwaker. The first time i retried it it turned out to be so much more than that i loved it!!! I can't stop playing and have totally abandoned The windwaker and kingdom hearts. I am totally gonna buy it!! I've only upgraded my house once and am havin' tons of fun payin' of my debt!! By the way if you've got ace in your town isn't he irritating he always gets in the way. Barbra's a jerk too. she painted my friends roof pink without asking her and she hates pink.RUDE MUCH!!!!!! The one thing i dislike about it is that you can't choose what you look like cuz my character is really freaky lookin'
| This game is AMAZING. | | Penguin Freak says (31/Oct/2002): | I don't play a lot of video games, I'm usually on my computer while my brother is on the gamecube. This game is different. You can organize your room, do favors, write/send letters and get responses, give presents, pay off debt (yes you have to pay off debt for your house), get new clothes, fish, catch bugs, chop down trees, plant flowers, plant trees, dig up fossils, get your roof painted, make moolah-and so much more it's scary. It runs on real time, so today (yay, it's Halloween!) All the townspeople are excited about the holiday, and tonight they'll all be in their costumes! (All the SAME costume too). It's the kind of game where you KNOW HOW to cheat, and easily CAN cheat, but it's a million times funner if you don't. I give this game 40 stars-out of 5.
| The Best Game Ever!! | | Briana from Illinois, USA says (28/Dec/2002): | I love this game, I can't stop playing it, I'm in my room about 85% of the day playing it...I love the way you can hear the animals talk it is so cute!! ^_^ I like the graphics too it makes the game seem so real.. bottom line I LOVE THIS GAME!
| A+++++ | | Taylor from Linden Michigan says (31/Dec/2002): | This game is a sims meets real-world game it is as addictive as the best games out there i've only had it since christmas and i cant stop playing it this game is a definate MUST HAVE
| 40 Year Old Mom Loves Animal Crossing | | Kristin from Vacaville, CA says (2/Jan/2003): | It's true. This is the greatest game ever. I'm usually not addicted to these things, but this one is great. I think about it when I go to bed at night. I really bought it for my 9 year old daughter. It is the only game she likes to play as well. It's something we talk about and we get into disputes about trading items with each other (she's selfish!). We create other towns and visit them, collecting fruit and items from the junk yard and take them back to our hometown to sell at a huge profit because they're unusual. You would be amazed at the number of things there are to do. Each town you create is a different configuration with different characters. We first started playing it on New Years day, so we stayed up to see what would happen in our town. We went to the river bank and received a noisemaker from the mayor and at midnight fireworks went off and we made noise with our noisemaker. It was so darned cute! The next day we sold the noisemaker to Nook's Cranny for 450 Bells. That was a deal. It's just amazingly amazing. I hope they come out with a second version that is a 2 player game. That would be something.
| The best game ive ever played! | | Fary_grl from Usa,cali says (2/Jan/2003): | I only started playing yesterday and im already in love the characters the squeeky voices i love the only reason im not on it right know is my mom told me to get off im have a bit of trouble if anyone knows how to get the fishing pole and the butterfly net email me < remove me > at fary_grlyahoo.com
| Me and my friend cannot stop playing it, only down side is, is that we are night owls and almost everyones asleep then. =( | | A gamer from denver, colarado, US says (4/Jan/2003): | I am in love with this game, and i only got it about a week ago. me and my friend can not stop playing it. and over a weeks time we have gotten fat and lazy (lol) this game is totally addictive but the only down side is, is that me and my friend are nockternel pretty much so everything is closed and everyone is asleep so we cant to errands. and that it takes up so much room on your memory card, but i guess it is worth it. i gave this game a 9 and 1/2 (it wouldnt let me put that)
