This game has no equal, stands above all other games and is one of the best games in the world. I'll be telling my grand-children about this game! Smaus has all ways delivered a very enjoyable and amazing gaming experence in 2D, but now she's back, she' 3D and better than ever. It's not just a wild shoot 'em up - or a puplexing puzzeler - or a dragon slaughtering RPG. It is a hybrid of all of them. A hybrid that has made gaming history. A hybrid that will not and cannot be toped. The graphics alone make the game worth buying!

This game is quite simply both stunning to look at and stunning to play. It has a huge world to explore and many secret areas to find. The game follows the originals with the giant bosses each with their own particular weak spot. This game is a must have for any gamecube owner and if you don't have a gamecube this should be your reason to get one.

this game had me addicted from day one and let me say the combanation of sound and interactive expeirience makes it look like your in the power suit. The controls follow smoothly and they give total control. If you long for the old games have no fear the unlockable metroid game keeps the old days going. The graphics are sharp and thats what you should look for in a game. The game is in first person and focuses on exploration and puzzle solving. Although you defend yourself it is nothing like first person shooters were your objective is blasting wave after wave of mindless enemy drones.The life span will keep you addicted for months at a time so board up the house and kiss your family goodbye beacause this game will blow you away!!!!!

I am a huge fan of all things Xbox, but when I saw this game I decided to buy the cube. After playing a little while I did not think that this game would hold my interest. However, I picked it back up about a week later and the addiction began. This game is probably the most graphically impresive available for the cube. The textures and lighting are right on. The storyline begins a little sluggish, but then quickly draws you in. The imersion level gets extremely high making you want to clean up Tallon IV, but immersion is hindered by the low number of save stations. You will find yourself running back to save frequently. The difficulty level is about where it should be. The controls could use some work. The controls are better set up for a third person game rather than a FPS. Once you get used to them they are OK. Everything considered this game is very solid and worth the investment.

the absolute best game I have ever seen i thought the game would stink but I was so wrong the graphics are so sharp and in depth the only thing i was concerned with was the fire sterio brings you up close and personal from the peaceful wonderful world of the tallon overworld to the ruined space pirate reasearch satilite to the dangerous world of the phazon mines and best of all you decide were to go there is no mission objectives or any orders from headquarters or any magical all knowing narrorator that will be decending from the sky to explain every little plot-line deatail in a lengthy cut scene easy to follow controls and everything you would expect from a game this good folks if you want to have a good all explore and conqour game look no furthur the metoid prime

It doesn't matter whether you're out to just defeat and kill, or explore and conquor, or discover and just gather what you need...it's like a good book and you don't want it to ever end because it takes you in and keeps you there. I bought the game cube just to play Metroid Prime and boy, did I get my money's worth! There aren't too many things out there you can say that about today.

A winner is a winner, period! Metroid Prime is one for certain. Which also means that some will want to break the mold and boohoo out of principle. It's a shame to criticize anything so well done and so entertaining as this game. On the other hand, let's not forget the 10% rule...that is the 10% of the people who WILL NEVER BE PLEASED no matter what! Live and let live, and Metroid Prime will for a long time to come!

When i first saw the ad my dad and me thought it was a movie, but it was better, it was the best idea nintendo has had since the......Nintendo Entertianment System! The graphics and technology realistics are mind boggling. All the boss fights are fun especially the fight with Meta Ridley. Im almost done with the game i just gotta fight the Metroid Prime and im done. Samus has never been so kewl! The beams are so awesome especially the plasma beam. Fision metroids are hard to beat, I just cant get em. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Metroid Prime happens 2 years after Metroid 1 and a little before Metroid 2. The only way that u can truly get the game and enjoy it to its fullest is to play all the other ones. I have all the Metroids and im proud of it! Closing note: If i had to pick anything to be real in Metroid id have to pick Samus herself, cause she's a hotty! BYE IT! u know u want to.

When I first saw the game on advertisements I thought the game would be just flat out bad. I went and got the game a little while ago and I can't put the contollor down. The controlls are a little hard to get use to but after the first level you have them perfectly. The difficulty makes the game better then it all ready is. Those who think Metroid Prime isn't worth it well it is worth it more then the Gamecube it self.

this game is so freaking cool altough its one of the hardest games i have ever played espacialy the boss thardus he is so hard to beat he takes out the targeting system and since he is made of rocks this makes him a formidable opponent. the graphics on this game are so good most websites rate the game's graphics a perfect ten and so do i . the music is not the best but certainly one of the best the weapons are the best i have ever played the strategy is almost the best one i ahve ever played next to zelda the ocarina of time. So if you dont have this game i am telling you go buy it or rent it or borrow it for a very long time.

The graphics are astonishing. The weapons are cool espescially the plasma beam. The only funny thing about it is that darn omega pirate. I died 10 times before I could kill it. I had to ignore all of the power/ wave/ plasma troopers helping the O pirate. The O pirate kept on swatting me. It was either get swatted or bathe in a pool of phazon. I was hooked on to this game for literally weeks. I would not finish until I have gotten 100% completion. Wavebuster is one of the coolest charge combos.

Metriod Prime is the best game for Gamecube I have ever played. All of my friends say that gamecube has horrible graphics and bad games. Metriod Prime proves all of them wrong. Samus is a girl whose parents and friends were killed by space pirates. She then was adopted by the chozos and was infused with their blood. She then went with a chozo power suit to destroy the pirates and their legions. That is the best storyline I have ever heard of. The graphics just speak for themselves. I love the perspective when you are Samus. It makes you feel that you are in the action. The music in the space pirate research center makes me jump when the pirates come(the view doesn't help either). That is a good feeling though. the graphics are so real that they gave my friend's brother nightmares for weeks. Just so you know the tubes and balls in the begining while you are loading are the metroids insides(you'll learn more about them in the ice region of the second level). I am hopeing that I don't have to vs the metal flame dragon, so if anyone could tell me in their essay, it would be great for me and others. Metriod is a great game in everything. I'm 12 and can't stop playing. I love this game and I hope this review will persuade you to try it out at least. Who knows, maybe you will be writing a review for this game soon. Now all I have to do is to convince Peter the Playstaton fan to like gamecube.

this is a cool game and it is cool. it has awesome graphics and cool sounds that fit the game and are cool. i never played a metroid game before because im 12 and the last time one came out i was 4. i got both fusion and prime for christmas, and i got hooked on fusion. then, playing prime, i just got the missile launcher but i didnt like the game. after getting stuck in fusion, i decided to pick up the controller and give it another try, because i had been wanting the game. i got the morph ball, and kept going. i found the bombs and the charge beam, and found how cool and fun this game was. im almost beat it, but im stuck at that stupid omega pirate. hes evil. litterally. i cant beat him because he sends out little mini pirates why cant they be normal space pirates not the troopers??? thats not cool. but i still like this game. the one other fault this game has is those annoying chozo ghosts. while i didnt mind fighting them once in a while, they got really annoying because they came in like, every room in chozo ruins and i kept getting mad, because theres no way out untill you beat them and its really annoying. this game has almost no faults other than that, though. i think metroid prime is one of the best games on gamecube to date. i also heard that they were going to make a metroid prime 2, because of this games great success. i hope its as good as the first. nintendo, as much as there the best, tend to make sequels boring, such as majoras mask. blah. if they are making a metroid prime 2, cool. im gonna buy it.

It is one of the best games I've ever playedthe graphics are good so is the sound the starting life span is 99 but you can get energy tanks to hold more. the reason I like it is it's a role playing game and you get different weapons(beam,ice,wave,charge,plasme and flame),visors(scan,combat,thermal and x-ray)and scan data. Different items are space jump boots, missile launcher, morphball, varia suit, phason suit, gravity suit and more

I love this game. I have just finished playing it, and unlocked everything in normal mode. Now im ready for hard mode and i cant wait. This is the first game I have played in a long time that i actually died a few times. Thats rare. Especially the last few bosses. Ridley was kinda ez once u got the pattern. BUT Metrioid Prime is the greatest boss ever made in a long long time. I mean, I died 5 times playin this thing before i got it down and killed the blasted thing. It was challenging. And all of the new guns and abilities rock. Retro and Nintendo should make all games like this one. This is one of those games that, even if you are bored, you can just run around and shoot stuff. It has a tremendous amount of replayability. I LOVE THIS GAME. Great Job Nintendo.

I must say that this was a great game. My son and I are just crazy for Samus games, and I think that nintendo did it's greatest work ever. This game was challenging, the graphics were unbealivable, and finally I got to fight with and old fo of mine, that I've been dieing to see. The best game ever is out on gamecube ladys and mostly gentlemen, and if you want it get it before this game is so good, everone buys it and theres nothing left until three years from now. And by the way, idiot from alabama, you don't deserve to be a gamer if you say this game is bad.

You people must be kidding. Who needs a review for this game of the whole world is giving it a 10 out of 10. Me and my dad used to play the Snes game, it had some magic into it and was fantastic. Metroid Prime is even better than you could image. New vilian, old vilians i wanted to have a score with, and finally metroids. Gamer's there is a great evil out there, and its up to you to conquer it.

Before Christmas came all I was hearing was how great this game was . all My friends were bragging about it and how great it was. And I thought Not likely....But then I got it for Christmas... And whoa!!! this game blew my mind the graphics were astonishing!! Every detail was there! All the stones the dust the heat the noise it was all there and perfect. Every detail was perfect! I am a very picky gamer if someone brags about a game for a long time . I make it my mission to pick it apart. With prime I found less than three mistakes that were easly ignored due to the overall awsomeness of the games power. I hope Nintendo sticks with Retro studios for any metroid prime
look alikes. this is THE reason to buy a gamecube.

What an amazing game! I can't see why ANYONE wouldn't like it. If you don't like it GO TO HELL! Every single element of the game is perfect. The difficulty is just right, the graphics, sound etc. are truly perfect. The only thing that would get me off the couch was food (mmm...) and Sports. 999 trillion% perfect!
