I understand what others are saying about Metroid Prime, but that is because the graphics are blinding their visions. Graphically, the game is amazing. Looking deeper to the gameplay, the TPS is horrible. You sometimes get the scan visor on by accident, due to bad controls. I rather play Metroid Fusion, or even Super Metroid..only reason why I gave it a 1 instead of a 0 is the fact that you can play the original NES Metroid in Metroid Prime, in conjuction with the Metroid Fusion Game Boy Advanced game.

Metroid Prime... Where to start... I waited for Metroid Prime to be released for over a year, and when it came out... my reaction was unexplainable. The first day I played it, was literally a day. I didn't put it down for even food (I got my parents to do that for me).
I have never really been much of a Metroid fan, but when I saw Metroid Prime, my opinions changed without hesitation.
In a short summary, Metroid Prime is obviously the best game on the Nintendo Gamecube so far- and I LOVE IT!

The graphics are astonishing. The weapons are cool espescially the plasma beam. The only funny thing about it is that darn omega pirate. I died 10 times before I could kill it. I had to ignore all of the power/ wave/ plasma troopers helping the O pirate. The O pirate kept on swatting me. It was either get swatted or bathe in a pool of phazon. I was hooked on to this game for literally weeks. I would not finish until I have gotten 100% completion. Wavebuster is one of the coolest charge combos.

Wow, I thought this game would be great, but I not this great! The giant envroments, the flora and fauna of Tallon IV it's just awe inspireing. The only problems with this game seem to be the haveing to guess whats behind you, and the confusion of backtraking. finding other beam weapons is also kinda frustrading. However, those are compinsated for by the lock-on feature of the arm cannon, and the speed of the morph ball, espcial after you get the boost ball. Over all this is a definate ten.

Metroid Prime is a great game. I love the phazon gun it kicks! you don't know what u missed if u havn't tried it yet u dont no what your missing. I also liked how the rain drops splattered on your visor and how the water drips down your screen when u come out of the water. Even though i have beaten Metroid Prime (the boss) i am still looking for some more energy tanks and missle expansions. i'm also still looking for the ice beam combo. Like i said before its the greatest game ever.

I think that this is the best game on the face of this freakin' planet. The only thing that I would like changed is the controlling. I thought that the controlls could have been made to be more user freindly. I mean when I was scanning something, a monster attacked me and I did not have enough time to realize that I have to get out of scan visor mode to shoot. I was dead by then. Still, I have to say even with these strange controls, THIS GAME KICKED ASS!! (Alien ass that is)

I just had the pleasure of playing the game of the century. I was not someone who had initially wanted to see Metroid in the first person, but WOW. This game looks great, and once you get used to the controls, it is easy to play. Anyone who has ever played a videogame will be sure to love this game. There are so many functions that can be done with Samus Aran and her tech suit that you can play this game for days and not even realize (or care) that you are lost.

As the title says, this game has only one word in description....Unbelievable!! You see this game and wonder why Nintendo hasnt made any other games of such quality as often. I dont mind the long wait, the payoff is what matters. The Graphics: almost too real. The playability: So easy to master. The sound: with suround sound, it really can freak ya out. The plot: Very addictive. And difficulty: great for begginers and Pros alike!! This game is a "must have."

this is a pretty fun game but it has its drow backs it gets harder way herder as you pass the first lvl and some of the bosses are very hard but some of them are easy as pie to kill like the firts boss you encounter for a noobie its sorda hard but as you might get killed the first time the next time you will beat him its a pretty good game some of the things you fight are very hard though and look for cheats some but there are no good cheats for this game

My friend is all like X box is better X box is the best system ever... and he wouldnt even play the game cube well then his brother got one.. so me and his brother both had metroid prime..because its the best game ever... after seeing the good graphics he said "O FINE ill play metroid" he played for 2 hours at my house then he took my memory card home so he could play his brothers..he doesnt play his x box any more.. his x box probably over heated again!

I'm sorry, but I just don't dig this game the exact same way I dug Super Metroid. This game is great, but the only downside is that it is a First Person Shooter. That is the dealbreaker right there. Other than that, it is a solid game. Now I must go and get back to playing Metroid Fusion, so I can unlock the second best Metroid ever made, the NES version of Metroid, behind only Super Metroid for Super Nintendo.

It is one of the best games I've ever playedthe graphics are good so is the sound the starting life span is 99 but you can get energy tanks to hold more. the reason I like it is it's a role playing game and you get different weapons(beam,ice,wave,charge,plasme and flame),visors(scan,combat,thermal and x-ray)and scan data. Different items are space jump boots, missile launcher, morphball, varia suit, phason suit, gravity suit and more

Metroid Prime is a bad game... you have limited views of playing...and the fact that you have no powers suck and the fact that they make the bosses to hard especially for beginner game players such as when you go get the morph ball by the time you kill all the beetles you have very little life left to kill the main boss they made too much of a struggle to get to the main bosses by fighting against a ridiculous amount of mini bosses

In the game you play as Samus Aran(bootie kicker).When you let the game sit for about five minutes and it turns into a third person view and she takes off her helmet for about ten seconds and she goes to sleep.It is pretty cool.I know you would like it!!!Over all the fusion suit comes witha wicked weapon.It is called the fusion beam.it is a fast beam.REALLY!!!It thros beams of space pirate blood.Overall it is a cool game.

This is the best game ever. the graphics are increadabile when you go into water and you come out you can see little drops of water on the visor. all the beams are awesome my favorite is the plasma beam because its increadabily strong. also the visors are awesome if you use the X-Ray visor its like your super man. its awesome ive wated 2 years for it and it finally came out.

This game is Neat. I first loved Metroid after playing the one for NES and SNES. I was amazed how it turned out. I thought it would suck because it was 3D, but they couldnt have made it any better. The game, even being 3D, kept the meaning of Metroid true. The graphics are awesome and the music is what you'd expect from any Metroid game. They even remixed some of my favorite Metroid songs from the SNES and NES version!:P

When I first saw the game on advertisements I thought the game would be just flat out bad. I went and got the game a little while ago and I can't put the contollor down. The controlls are a little hard to get use to but after the first level you have them perfectly. The difficulty makes the game better then it all ready is. Those who think Metroid Prime isn't worth it well it is worth it more then the Gamecube it self.

A winner is a winner, period! Metroid Prime is one for certain. Which also means that some will want to break the mold and boohoo out of principle. It's a shame to criticize anything so well done and so entertaining as this game. On the other hand, let's not forget the 10% rule...that is the 10% of the people who WILL NEVER BE PLEASED no matter what! Live and let live, and Metroid Prime will for a long time to come!

I've been having Metroid Prime for months. I just picked it up recently and started playing it to see how it was. Now I can't get enough I'm hooked on it. I gotten pretty far in a matter of two days. I should of start playing this kick ass game a long time ago! the music is sci fi with ..great guitars riffs.., spectacular graphics; I recommend this game to anyone gamer ...epecially the hardcore gamers like me !

This game is so good, there are no words that give it the full credit it deserves! The graphics are THE BEST I have ever seen, and the challenge level is surprisingly difficult(even on the normal setting!) The controls work fairly well(there are a few changes that would improve it.) 10 Stars is only a THIRD of what I would give (for all you math geniuses, that would total 30 stars), but 10 is still excellent.
