Why didn't you guys up at MK headquarters do some more fatalaties and give Blaze and Mokap some better features and weapons? The graphics were one of the best, if not the best I've ever seen in a fighting game. I really liked the Nitara and reptile storylines for Konquest mode. Email me and I'll tell you which koffins the secret characters are in. I beat the entire game (thats all konquest missions, arcade on max and unlocked all guys) in 5 days. That may be just me, but if I could go back to when I was choosing this game I would have bought a different one. I reckon the sound was the best in the MK series so far. I need to know, are you making another MK game? I reckon you should, since all these reviews are telling you some pointers to make MK really stand out from other fighting games like tekken and street fighter. Overall I liked it all right but wouldn't exactly reccommend it. Someone reply to me plzz. I really need to know if my review helped anyone. I reckon the konquest missions can get really repetitive after the first 30-50. I think the inclusion of different coloured coins and minigames rox! It makes unlocking guys more rewarding.

When you do test your Sight with a friend on vs mode.If you got it right the butten that you choose hold it if that was right you punch him/her, I did this to my brother lots of times.

The graphics and the characters looked very real and Sonya was sexy as hell. Scorpion kicked ass and I think they should have done a better job with Sub-Zero but THIS GAME ROCKED!!!!! From the beginning of Mortal Kombat to today it is very clear that Midway is getting better and better. And I hope that there will be a Mortal Kombat game on the new system. And to all those who say that the game sucked, then you must be still be playing all of those wimpy games that your momma bought for you. If you want a real fight with weapons, and two different martial art styles then play this one. Other than that shut up and leave this one to the pros like us. I have been a die hard fan of this series since it came out and I am impressed with the way things are going. But they should have kept Liu Kang in this one I agree and kept Johnny Cage out, but...WHO CARES?!!!? Shao Kahn would have been the one to beat but kicking Shang Tsungs and Quan Chis ass was all too perfect!!! Forget Goro don't you think that Molock was way cooler? And the Krypt was awesome!!!! Buying $#< remove me > at ! that you don't need is a everyday thing, but when was the last time you could even bet coins on a fight with your friends??

I mean, the graphics were stunning and the gameplay was smooth. I really liked the way the game included authentic martial arts and the fighting style system was another brilliant idea from the guys at Midway. The soundtrack had that gory type feeling to it. I especially loved the trap on the acid pool stage. One thing that i disliked though was the save system. why didn't nintendo follow xbox's lead and put in a built in memory chip. when i first got this game, i didn't have a memory card and they won;t even let you attempt to unlock new things without one. the krypt was totally awesome though. the konquest mode was also genius. it teaches you all of the characters' moves while earning you koins to buy new characters and extras. i've forgotten the number but there's one clip with scorpion callled cooking with scorpion, it's hilarious. you've gotten see it! the music video that adema made for the game was also cool. i think this is a cool game to get if you like mortal kombat. of course, Deception is out now so i would get that one instead if i were you.

The history is very cool even when they killed a lot of main characters it worth it and cmon we all know they will come back in some way. People who says that Mortal Kombat dEADLY aLLIANCE sucks is mainly for less fatalities and New characters, i just wanna say that u are right in fatalities thing but it seems there was a big error in the programtion code and they couldnt include them, but thats not a reason for scoring or less, its not so frustrating, and character thing, Mortal Kombat Team has to improve they have to give a break for some guys, one game out will not be the apocalypsis, plus all the chars were new one time, when Goro dissapeared and Motaro came it was cool too and Goro came back same for deadly alliance chars, i think Frost is cool, Nitara kicks asses. For all interested in Deadly Alliance i just wanna say: What are you waiting for, GO and GET IT
| MK- Mediocre Krap | | Matt from Cardiff, Wales. says (9/Dec/2004): | Ok crap is probably a bit harsh, but Midway have done a hell of a lot better than this in the past. I like the increased gore, a factor that most MK fans buy the game for, but we also liked the fun elements of the game. Babalities, animalities, the ablity to impale your foes on a pit of spikes and wash them away in a warm acid bath were all parts of the old games that made gamers run out to tell their freinds about. Finding out that your mate managed to make Sub Zero freeze and smash his oponents to peices as well as ripping out his spine were what made the game stand out from the rest. Two fatalities are better than one! Yes the graphics are good and yes it plays well but I think Midway have tried to hard to make an impression with this one and in doing so have lost all the originality and fun of the old MK. So a disapointing four from me. Save your money, dig out your old console and stick to the original while you wait for the next attempt and hopefully you wont be dissapointed next time. Bring back Lu Kang and his Dragon animality!!!

| mortal kombat deadly alliance is the best game yet!!! | | monnie from australia says (16/Aug/2004): | well what can i say mortal kombat is the best i dont care which one there all the best. although i think they should show more blood and gut and body parts but thats just me.my favourite character is lei mei because she is a quick and strong player but i think they killed her off in the next one so i say damm. some helpful tips if you want to be the best at mortal kombat master all their moves and learn to block. also play with a range of different styles and different characters. if you want to know how to beat a real hard character a know one of the answers stick with one style until you beat them and then change your style thats every round change to a different style. i dont know which mortal kombat this was in but you could have 2 fatalities for each character and i think they should do that again. and when you finish konquest and have two extra players (blaze and mokap) they should have fatalities because i reckon they would turn out awesome all and all i think this game rocks and to the makers of the game dont stop making them because there hasnt been a better fighting game yet. if you have any questions just ask.

Where's Mileena, Jade, Smoke, Kabal,Kintaro, and etc.?! Also Bo' Rai Cho is annoying, Reptile looks like godzilla, and Lu Kang is dead! Plus well I like the Krypt and old min-games from Mortal Kombat 1,2,etc. but the Konquest well it's annoying.I also note that there are so many koffins yet so little characters. But I'll keep playing this game even though me getting the lousy Nitara for a stinkin' 6500 saphirres won't help I'll still play. Maybe... Oh and here's some info, koffins UH,KI,IV,and UR each have characters! UH=RAIDEN/KI=KITANA/IV=FROST/AND UR=NITARA/ I think there should be a game called Mortal Kombat Supreme Extreme where there are new and ALL of the old ones(old meaning past games not stupid age) and more fatalities. I mean 1 fatality per person?! PLEASE! Kano's fatality is so superbly... pethedic. Even thought the graphics have improved and all but what about the old stuff, the old characters fatalies. Where did those things went to which were the best part of the game. I mean wat common only one fatality per person and where are the old characters. In addition to that the combos are pretty nice but still many characters are missing and what used to attract me the most were the fatalities and now with every player having only one fatality makes this game kinda boring. Where did the fatalies went to all the babalities, the anilamities(which were awsome, the brutalities,etc.This is the worst thing midway has created yet and hope it can come up with something better then this. In the future if midway is planning on making another mortal combat they better come up with more fatalities and fatalities stages just like the old times. If not i will just stop playing them cuz this type of mortal combat is Crap period. If any one is planning on buying this game I suggest u dont because you wil only get dissapointed at the things u wont c that were in the old versions of mortal combat

Theres only one fatality for each Character.MK DA and Trilogy are no doubt the BEST of all fighting games ever made. I love the Mini games every 3 rounds before you fight, Test your might, Test your sight, although i think they could add more, Appetite, kite,light bite. ( midway i really think in the next video game of mortal combat people should be able to get reptiles Old costume , like in the movie , it is so much better than the other ones ) They need to have alot more secret characters and i think more big combos and deffinetly more fatalities . I like this game because the Fighting is Real intense and is extremely gory :) i like the story thing after you have beaten the game.

The addition of weapons is really nice, but WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYBODY! I've been playing MK since it first came out in arcades. Where's all the guys from MK 1, 2, and 3. Lu Kang, Shao Khan, Striker, Noob Saibot, Rain, Kabal, Smoke, Sector, Jake, Mellena, Barraka, Night Wolf, Motaro, Syndel, Goro, the real Reptile, and Ermac are all missing. WTF! I can understand Goro and the few others I didn't mention, but why take out all the ninjas. The worst part is the fact that Lu Kang, Barraka, and Kabal were taken out. I know Lu Kang always won, but the whole deal with MK when it came out (unlike its competitors such as Teken) is that is was just blood and guts with no real plot. It was a hack and slash game. Now they try to make it some kinda RPG (which are awesome, but not appropreate for this kinda game). I'm returning this game and busting out my MK3! If you have never played MK before than by all means try it out. There's a good chance you'll like it. If You liked all of the old school guys than start dusting off your old systems cause your gonna be using them.
| This game needs some stuff...... | | Chris from U.S.A georgia,Lawrenceville says (4/Jun/2004): | I'ts kind of weird that the regular games include raiden,reptile,jax,kitana,and cyrax but in M.K.D.A you need to buy those characters,test you might and test your sight are nice mini-games but I have trouble beating diamond.I've beaten all test your sight levels.Another question is why is konquest so easy?And why is there so many of them?You get mokap and blaze after beating all of konquest,on character select highlight raiden and hold down on pad and press the A button,do the same on cyrax to get mokap.Why when you fatality cyrax you see body parts and bones fly out?The game definently needs,liu kang,shinnok,both smokes,sektor,nightwolf,kabal,rain and needs the rest of the old people.If the movies are based on the games then why isn't johny cage dead?Mortal Kombat deception(next mortal kombat game)needs people falling in spikes or acid,animality,friendship,brutality and needs 2 fatalities per character.This game does kick a$$ in graphix and the fighting styles are a hit.Best part is that all of the combos are f< remove me > at $#< remove me > at ** awesome!!!!!Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance has made excellent games every couple of years this year they have done a good job!Just try not to forget some of the the many tips that I gave you.

But what happened to the fatalites and stage fatalites! And the graphics are so so so tight! I wish the fatalites would come back! I loved the fatalites! But I can deal with it. Why doesn't Sub-Zero have a mask? Scorpion does and Sub-Zero had a mask in MK,MK1,MK2,MK3,and MK4! And he doesn't have one in this one. Come on. Anyway I cant figer-out how to use fatalites! I have a X-Box and I dont know what buttens to push to use a fatalites. The graphics are so cool! And Sub-Zero looks so cool but he needs a mask. When I got MK it was awsome and to see how much MK has evolved to MKDA. I mean its just so cool. And thank you for keeping Sub-Zero and Scorpion! There the best characters I think. I cant wait for the next Mortal Kombat to come out. I love the Kori Blade for Sub-Zero. It was so cool. And you can stick blades through people. Its so funny! And the moves are so funny for the trainer. Like he throughs up on you and farts in the middle of a attack. Lol. And the movie "Cooking With Scorpion" is so funny! I give it a thumbs up!

But come on, 1 fatality, and not even one for the secret characters, what happened to the classical 2 or 3 fatalities with the additional anamalities, brutalities, babalities, friendships, and all the other fun extras!!! I miss the stage fatalities too, but this game has awesome graphics, beyond belief, with cool endings, and funny extras. Even though there are only 1 fatality per person, there pretty darn good, o wait except Quanchis, o god, what the F^%$ is stretching your opponents neck and leaving them to die, come on! Over all the game is really fun, challenging, and has some cool characters, weapons, and fighting styles. I would recomend you spend your money on this game so you can call your buddy and tell him to come over and kick his butt! Its also cool to work on your skills at practice, and the secret characters are not bad either, except for the fact that they have no fatalities!!! | watta game... | | peter mandisi from auckland says (21/Apr/2004): | hello...well mortal combat is the greatest game i've ever encountered well besides my tennis and wwf...but mortal kombat kept me up late at night and as i progressed the game got more challenging and everytime i discovered a new character i was thrilled!!the graphics are number 1!! the blood was the first thing i fell inlove with the game..the arenas..sound affects everything was realistic and that made the game enjoyable to be honest im young..9 turning 10...and all my friends ask me about characters and their fatalities and i explain the whole thing to them and they just stand there saying to themselves what a lier i am..but when they came over to my house they were shocked that i was telling the truth about mokap and blaze and i showed them everyones fatalities!!The krypt however was very fun!! when i finally uncovered all the coffins was soooooooo happy!!i am the man at the game..my big sister and brother are scared to verse me because they are scared ill kick their ass...!!my favourite character is scorpion!! i didnt take long to learn his moves i practised night and day!! my most hardest character to use like to play their moves was mavado!! my most favourite fatality would be cyrax! my most favourite character ending movie would have been blazes movie! the character that i think has the coolest costume is sub-zero!! my 10 favourite moves from specific characters are...spear-(scorpion),puke puddle-(bo rai cho),flip kick-(scorpion),summon hell fire-(scorpion),ice shaker-(sub zero),unicorn kick-(nitara),rising star-(quanchi),soul steal-(shang tsu),uppercut-(johnny cage),slice and dice-(cyrax)...i cant wait for the next mortal kombat to come out im gonna nag my mum to get it for me!!!

They took the only fun fighting game left and made it another teken! I hope Ed Boon realises what he's done, two special moves each player, come on what he hell is that. I'm very dissaponted, the only good thing to come out of deadly alliance is the classic TEST YOUR MIGHT segment, other then that its TEKEN. The only thing that make this right is if they make a public apology. I don't know what else to write just NOT HAPPY JAN. Lets talk about the characters, RAYDEN: No back back forwad move, JAX: No back breaker, SUB-ZERO: No slide, SMOKE: No SMOKE how can ya have a mortal kombat with no smoke, noobasaibot (Bad Spelling) wheres noobasaibot, no montaro, no goro, no night wolf man there no goodies, and who's this blind guy??? dont bring in more players just bring back the oldies.. If you agree or dissagree let me know write to me and give your opinion, i'll be waiting for the next one hopefully it will be worth the couple years wait. thanks for reading
