This game is a fresh relief from the all to popular rpg, and heavy commitment games. I personally enjoy the fact that I can sit back kill a couple of chumps, tastfully I might add, and then quit at just about anytime without worries of finding a save point. Although there are many great games out there with this same appeal, none touch my heart like a nostalgic rerun of my teenage years at the good ole arcade! This game is a vast improvment over its counterparts and deserves alittle praise. I mean who can deny the great boucing action that goes on with specific charcters( Guys you know what im talking about :) All in all I give this game two tunbs up, keep it up Midway!

Deadly Alliance is one of the best mortal kombats ever. Arcade mode is fun and challenging with mini games that earn you extra Koins. Konquest is chalenging and frustrating. Pressing all the button for the combo but missing one of them and the combo won't count. But it teaches you the moves of your fighter and gets you lot of koins. The krypt depends on luck if you get something boring you don't want, an empty koffin, some Koins, or really cool stuff. All around this game is incredibly fun, bloody,and frustrating but I still give it a 10.

I was reluctant to get the game at first but when I did I haven't had a minute to put it down. The graphics are excellent and the combo system is mostly flawless. And the real fighting styles was a excellent touch. The only thing I don't like is the way to unlock secret characters. It should have stayed the old fashioned way of ending a game withe a certain character to unlock another. Also if they plan on making another they should bring back more classic characters like Kabal, Smoke, Jade, etc.

Let's see. I have recieved this game like, 2-3 weeks ago. I give this game an eight because, its not perfect, and nothing is close to perfect, so the eight will do just fine! The people say that, becsause there is no Lui Kang, there is no MK... Well screw you! Be open minded. Yeah it sucks, but the characters are awesome. The Arcade mode is somewhat the same, but you can get Kurrency with a profile. Graphics are amazing and I am, like the title, almost addicted but not quite. The game is amazingly fun, and just a fantastic fantasy story behind it!

I picked up my copy of MK:DA over a month ago, and have hardly put it down since. The overall improvement of graphics in clothing and hair movement(among other things on certain characters) is revolutionary for the entire fighting genre. The gameplay itself is flawless in every way, excellent combos and style branching are just icing on the cake. The Konquest mode offers a great break for those tired of arcade mode, and offers enough challenge to keep you interested for a long time. The Krypt adds to the excitement by offering just a touch of mystery to this title. I could go on for hours raving on the things I enjoyed, and there is only one thing I can honestly say I hated about the game. Quan Chi's fatality, I mean the guy is supposed to be a powerfull sorceror, you think the designers could have come up with something a little more gorey. Regardless the game gets a perfect 10 from me, and I recommend everyone go out and at least rent it, if not actually buy it.

MK:DA is a cool game i just bought it a cople of days ago, and i have to say i'm kinda impressed. kenshi is an awesom character with jedi like ability which is cool, sub zero's dragon technique kicks ass with a capitol kick. The multiple style select helps you keep your enemies off balance, and it's cool not having everyone fight the same, i also like how you cut or punch someone and they keep bleeding and at the end of the round their all bruised and battered, and I just couldn't say more about subzero's spine rip, way to bring back the classic's.

This game, oh wow, it's amazing, i just got it yesterday, and i am loving it. It is more difficult at times than the past Mortal Kombat games, which makes me love it more. Only thing I have a problem with is the things that are in the coffins in the crypt. I just believe that the endings for the characters would be able to be better if they didnt' put them in. But it doesnt bother me any I LOVE THE GAME

I musta Admit, awsome graphics and sounds, but they destroyed the meaning of MK, i mean, Reptile cant even turn invisible. Sub zeros fatality is apeice of crap, what happened to the old shatter body? And i cant believe they dont have rain. and the pits with spikes was the main isentiol of MK. but whatpisses me off themost is they take away Lue Kaing and you cane fukin play him! And then they put him in KANO'S body... what bull $#< remove me > at !.. although it is a fun game, they take away some of my favorite characters and put in these crappy ones. i rate MK deadly alliance a 5 out of ten, mk4 a 10 out of 10.

Ok, so we lost a little along the way. Lu Kang is dead, we only have one fatality per character, and the multi-level fighting arenas are gone. So what's left? Well, awsome graphics, realistic fighting, simple (and realistic) combos, a ton of secrets (including Scorpion's awsome alternate costume, complete with flaming skull), lots of blood, coded profiles, and more. Finally, after spending hours perfecting your moves on a specific character, a ten-year-old cannot walk up and kick your ass by pushing x and o for thirty seconds (Baek, Tekken II). Instead of just hitting buttons, one has to come up with strategies for short kicks and punches with quick combos, and mix in a special move at the right time. It really feels like a real fight. So we lost a little of the magic along the way. MKDA is still, in my opinion, the best overall fighter to date. It delivers exceptional graphics, realistic fighting, and other goodies. I see it as a stepping stone. The game is the first in a new revolutionary style of MK. Instead of complaining about what's missing, lets beat the hell outta this one, and see what's in store for the next addition. If the next MK doesn't deliver some good, new surprises, then let's start bitching. For now, I'm entertained.

So they killed of Lui Kang, finally. Few small problems like the 1-Fatality Per Character and a few animation glitches on the fatality (Sub Zero's when he and skeletonless victim are up against the wall). I'd like to see the multilevel arenas like the old MKs.
But if this game doesn't have you hooked after a few tries, you need to get checked out. The fighting is more realistic than ever, without sacrificing the blood and obscenity that shocked us originally. 3 Fighting Styles kick serious ass. Much more, it's worth the sticker price.

Alright,this is a pretty sweet fighting game. I enjoy games of all sort for the nintendo gamecube but this game has got to be one of my favorites. Sweet arenas,great graphics,alright characters (need the originals),astounding extras such as art,videos and such,and overall a great fighting game. I was a little dissappointed with the 1 fatality deal...oh well,it can't be helped.Anyway,great game for fighting game fanatics

I absolutly loved this game, I played it once at my friends house, and I had to go and buy it. The only bad thing about it is that ya there is only one fatality per person. But owell JAX looks AWESOME in this game and I love his moves, Kano is awesome too. But they did forget to put in acouple of the best characters... they forgot to put in GORO, and BARAKA! They were AWESOME! I like the interactive places, and all that stuff. The combo's get a lil tricky in Konquest but its fun to try... I like the amount of blood in this game.. its ALL OVER! I like the whole money thing... and all that stuff... The alternet costumes are great too.. I never really like Lu Kang... but it'd be tight if ya could unlock more characters like him.. But hey this game is awesome.. and I luv to play it.. PEACE

MKDA lacks originality. This game is mediocre at best in my book. I can not believe they have killed Liu Kang. That was probably the worst thing I have ever seen done. Next, the combos are certainly the worse set and one serious pain to pull off. Somebody over there at Midway better get the team on the ball.
For me, having played MK since its first release in the early 90’s, has left me questioning where the next release will be taking us gamers. I have always appreciated the story line, characters, arenas, and especially the fatalities. But with one fatality, it simply blows buffalo chips. Not even one freakin stage fatality. Also, wheres smoke and especially Noob Siabot, the most feared characters to duel. Additionally, the original attributes of each character has also added to its disappoint. OK, I’ll be first to say that I’m old school. But for those out there who have come to know the true meaning of MK’s story, would understand where I’m coming from. The game has more meaning and expectations to deliver with each release. Regardless of new graphics and style fighting, the game should always be faithful to its fans when it comes to characters and originality. The only perk that I did like was the costumes. It’s nice to see a change in the look of a character. Otherwise this MKDA beast scores a 4 on the scale of disappoint, and I’m being generous at that.

this is by far the best mortal combat yet but it can have its ups and downs like take the coffons for example theres what almost 700 of them and scorpion needs some new moves along with the rest of the gang and the story can get a little boring its the same thing in the other MCs but if you want a good game that will keep you up half the night then this is the best game for the gamecube have fun!!

Listen, this is one of the hottest games out right now. Mortal Kombat definitely came through with another hot series. I like how they put a twist to the story line; who wants to see the good guys win all the time? Though each character has only one finisher, people often forget the three fighting styles that each character comes with. I mean for real, who can remember all those combos, and then remember 3 or 4 different finishers automatically? Get a life if your disappointed because you want to sit in the house and memorize a hundred "up, down, hold x" bullsh*t. The game is hot, and the combos are even hotter. Besides, if I'm frustrated at a teacher, that gives me more reason to come home and finish someone!

Heres the mistakes Liu Kang dies and the ending for scorpion he dies if you beat the game with him he gets thrown into the soulnado and gets ripped apart good fatalities but needs more.Im Really upset about the Liu Kang thing who,s gonna be the next best earths warrior huh who Kung Lao won,t make it. Ive Been a mk veteran and scorpions my fav charecter . Midway you need to get Liu Kang back . Liu Kang kick Quan chis butt and shangtusun even if they were double teaming him so get your crap together midway

The game is unbelieveable, like look at the great graphics and the sweet new characters! You also Got All the Koffins Witch hold a secret something in side that is untill you buy it. U earn money for winning fights and they got Konquest mode witch allows u to earn money when at the same time ur learning how to use ur player. The game rocks and that final!

Ok ime a MK veteran and have been playing these games from the start i brought the ps2 copy of this game and it was well worth the £40 it cost me! the graphics are great and ime glad to see some new characters allthough my favorite is scorpian/sub-zerro. I dno wot the hell ppl are on about when the say it was a bad idea to kill off liu kang! its about time good move midway! all though killing scorpian in his ending and scraping the multi fatalities, babalities, brutalities etc was bad! good control system simple but still with the feel of mk moves. ok in short this game rocks and will last forever GO OUT AND BUY IT!

well this is clearly the best mortal kombat game yet it just brings a sort of special ability on hand to know if we can do things like that. well i just a=can't wait for the next mortal kombaat to come out and they should make it like mortal kombat the gateway to out world well thats just my way of thanking all the things that mortal kombat has done. but if i might say if it wasn't for the blood i might not have bought the game but it will always be a hit with me.
