To those out there that dont enjoy Mortal Kombat Deadly Allince
becuase you've got to work a bit harder to get new characters sorry but tuff you'll have to get over it.But to those who really enjoy the new 5 edition of the Mortal Kombat series dont give up on the game i myself thought the idea of the whole Krypt was i bit crap but it gives you some thing to work for.OH Yeah to those who are thinking of buy Mortal Kombat DA, it is well worth the price!!
oh and to those who have been a fan since 1992, you'll agree that this is the finest version so far.From the old Mortal Kombat were you had to play the arcade version to the new Xbox,PS2 or game cube version that is now available in your own home.thank you=)

I really really liked the hard work that was abviously put into MKDA....It's abvious that they didn't just slap it together and toos it out to the public like many company's do with there games (Final fantasy for example, I HATE THAT CRAP)....But like the other people said....I really do miss the wider selections of fatality's and stuff.....and it would be alot better if finding all these characters didn't take so frikin long....but every game needs a challenge.....the weapons are awsome, the moves are awsome....and Bo'rai Chow makes me laugh like a retard every time he's on the screen....another constant annoyance of mine is the fact that getting platinum and silver is almost impossible unless your a MK master....but still whutever....I really enjoy the game and i'm really really waiting for the next one to come out.....AND GIVE US MORE CHICKS BABY.....YEA YEA

mortal combat is a great game!!!!!!!!!!.but very challenging.i hate the crypt with all the noises.i really wish u could be moloch or at least let him hav a fatality.wat i am pissed of at is how boring some of the endings are.ex raidens and john cages.i think the game in all is great but i think they've over done the blood a little too much.my fav characters are sub zero but i really want his over costume scorpion and forst. i think frosts ending is funny and cool at the same time.i havent got evrything in the crypt yet still some way off and i dont hav every ending etc.wat i really want is sub zeros ending and costume.my least favourite charcters r johnny cage because his boring and usless i luckiliy completed it with him(with sub zeros help of course)and the other one is drahmin hes so annoying always having those flys around him.i hate the noises of the crypt i think they've gone to far which lets its score go very far down.my favourite moves r sticking your sword though them and most of sub zeros moves and frosts.i also like scorpions moves.l lov using kenshis moves.i may only be elven but i know a good game when i see one.i also know crap moves when i see one.like the detonaters for cyrax and the ball o flies for drahmin.i also like the fatalities i hav seen all of them.the trick is to write it down then do it.the 3 coolest ones is kenshis but that is very hard to do sub zeros and of course frosts and scorpions the most boring ones are quan chis and johnny cage in fact everything about johnny cage is crap!so in all i hope u dont be johnny cage and i hope u be either sub zero forst scorpion or maybe cyrax,kenshi or raiden so i hope uve learnt something about mortal combat is great!and very gory!! with a capital G.

I wanna say that this game rocks totally, best mortal kombat ever, graphics are awesome, difficult is whats expected from a mortal kombat, the krypt idea couldnt be better, off course theres a lot of crap there but prolly some fans will like it, the gameplay is awesome, style branch combos are sweet and thanks god they improved the wep idea from mk4 addin more attack and easy way to get. The history is very cool even when they killed a lot of main characters it worth it and cmon we all know they will come back in some way. People who says that Mortal Kombat dEADLY aLLIANCE sucks is mainly for less fatalities and New characters, i just wanna say that u are right in fatalities thing but it seems there was a big error in the programtion code and they couldnt include them, but thats not a reason for scoring or less, its not so frustrating, and character thing, Mortal Kombat Team has to improve they have to give a break for some guys, one game out will not be the apocalypsis, plus all the chars were new one time, when Goro dissapeared and Motaro came it was cool too and Goro came back same for deadly alliance chars, i think Frost is cool, Nitara kicks asses. For all interested in Deadly Alliance i just wanna say: What are you waiting for, GO and GET IT

I just wanted to say that Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance really brings the franchise out. I mean, the graphics were stunning and the gameplay was smooth. I really liked the way the game included authentic martial arts and the fighting style system was another brilliant idea from the guys at Midway. The soundtrack had that gory type feeling to it. I especially loved the trap on the acid pool stage. One thing that i disliked though was the save system. why didn't nintendo follow xbox's lead and put in a built in memory chip. when i first got this game, i didn't have a memory card and they won;t even let you attempt to unlock new things without one. the krypt was totally awesome though. the konquest mode was also genius. it teaches you all of the characters' moves while earning you koins to buy new characters and extras. i've forgotten the number but there's one clip with scorpion callled cooking with scorpion, it's hilarious. you've gotten see it! the music video that adema made for the game was also cool. i think this is a cool game to get if you like mortal kombat. of course, Deception is out now so i would get that one instead if i were you.

I think that this game kicked ass out of all the other Mortal Kombat games to date. The graphics and the characters looked very real and Sonya was sexy as hell. Scorpion kicked ass and I think they should have done a better job with Sub-Zero but THIS GAME ROCKED!!!!! From the beginning of Mortal Kombat to today it is very clear that Midway is getting better and better. And I hope that there will be a Mortal Kombat game on the new system. And to all those who say that the game sucked, then you must be still be playing all of those wimpy games that your momma bought for you. If you want a real fight with weapons, and two different martial art styles then play this one. Other than that shut up and leave this one to the pros like us. I have been a die hard fan of this series since it came out and I am impressed with the way things are going. But they should have kept Liu Kang in this one I agree and kept Johnny Cage out, but...WHO CARES?!!!? Shao Kahn would have been the one to beat but kicking Shang Tsungs and Quan Chis ass was all too perfect!!! Forget Goro don't you think that Molock was way cooler? And the Krypt was awesome!!!! Buying $#< remove me > at ! that you don't need is a everyday thing, but when was the last time you could even bet coins on a fight with your friends??

Easy Wins With Frost,Cyrat,Li meiKitana,Shang Tsung,Reptital, Sub Zero:Impale them with the guy that you Choose that can impale, if you impaled them do a combo and throw, if your opponent dies do the fatality!!!!!
When you do test your Sight with a friend on vs mode.If you got it right the butten that you choose hold it if that was right you punch him/her, I did this to my brother lots of times.

I reckon the other MK games were better. Why didn't you guys up at MK headquarters do some more fatalaties and give Blaze and Mokap some better features and weapons? The graphics were one of the best, if not the best I've ever seen in a fighting game. I really liked the Nitara and reptile storylines for Konquest mode. Email me and I'll tell you which koffins the secret characters are in. I beat the entire game (thats all konquest missions, arcade on max and unlocked all guys) in 5 days. That may be just me, but if I could go back to when I was choosing this game I would have bought a different one. I reckon the sound was the best in the MK series so far. I need to know, are you making another MK game? I reckon you should, since all these reviews are telling you some pointers to make MK really stand out from other fighting games like tekken and street fighter. Overall I liked it all right but wouldn't exactly reccommend it. Someone reply to me plzz. I really need to know if my review helped anyone. I reckon the konquest missions can get really repetitive after the first 30-50. I think the inclusion of different coloured coins and minigames rox! It makes unlocking guys more rewarding.

some reviews for this game were not very flattering. I dont agree,i think the graphics the characters and the fighting styles were all great espesially the weapons! They definetely could have added some more fatalites and level fataalites!the thing that bothers me is how much trouble it is to unlock mokap and blaze! if any one knows a easier way im me at www.debidil< remove me > at excite.com! the level graphics were also really good when compared to other fighting that i have seen lately. if they would have made different fatalites when you unlock there alternate costumes that would have made up for only having the one fatality. And why so many coffins most of it does nothing for you it is mostly just pointless junk. I really cant figure out why they didnt use the game level fatalites like in the acid bath or the lava level. Or better yet why not have level fatalites on the hidden levels that you have to unlock? And what happened to all the really cool players like rain and baraka and sektor? Why take them out they were really good and millena and kobal!?!the game itself was great they just made some bad choices but the fights are actualy pretty intence and fast paced

I have owned and played every single Mortal Kombat game.
This is by far the biggest piece of crap that Midway has ever released. One Fatality? No Stage Fatalities? What the hell were these guys thinking? MK's biggest attraction over the years has been the wonderful fatalities. Now we only get one per character? And $#< remove me > at !ty ones at that.
I'm reading threw these reviews and I see a ton of people that loved the game. I seriously doubt any of those people have ever played any previous MK release. If you don't own the game, DO NOT buy it, it's a complete waste of $.
If I could return my copy I would. Instead I think I will just burn it. I could go on and on about how disappointed I am with this game. I hope to god Midway pulls something out of their asses next time. MKDA is the biggest piece of crap I have ever played.

I think that this game could have been a little better due to the fact that we are used to the choices of fatalities, and not to mention the babality, and friendships. I like the way the konquest mode was thrown in there but obviously if I am looking things up for it then it definetly has my attention.

This is the best mortal kmobat game yet. I'm glad they finally brought it back to the basics. I like how people are limited on special moves because now its more of a real fight. you dont spent the entire time shooting unrealistic junk out of your body. you have to actually punch and kick in this game and i think that's a lot more fun. Besides, if you are a martial artist or you are intrested in martial arts this game gets so deep into the martial arts it can blow your mind. Shaolin fist, seven star praying mantis, bagua, kali escreema, aikido, double broadsword, twin hook swords, etc. the styles and weapons in thes game are insane. Pratically every technique in this game is actually practiced in each style. I think this game was for martial artists, so if you dont know anything about martial arts your probably going to not like to much because it's nothing like it use to be. It's more realistic.

Awesome game. Has great game play and strong story line.Also quite unique in that ,where as in most beat em up type games the objest is to win best of three matches and then simply finish them.This one allows you to explore each fighters individual style.Very challenging but once you have conquered all you are rewarded well!!!
Also please send me fatalities for mokap and Blaze !!!!

On the whole the game is pretty kool, the story line is ok the characters are kool and the new ones are good to. The graphics are excellent but there are a few mistakes. There are a few annoying things in this game like the costumes of the characters are pretty $#< remove me > at ! and some of the extra characters look even worse. The females are all deformed, but sonya is the worst! The krypt is always fun but some of the things you get from there is a load of old rubbish! the area are kinda kool and the moloch thing is pretty kool. except for the fact he $#< remove me > at !in cheats!
Scorpion rulez. He looks excellent in this version of mortal combat. O and in the krypt be sure to get scorpions cooking video coz its proper funny.

it is a cool game and the graphics are good some people are ace but others are not very good. The only thing wrong wiv the game is that sometimes when you are on konquest and you have to press more then one of each button it sometimes misses some out so you have to do it again. But i still think its an ace game

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is one if not the best fighting game out. I like it because that graphics are spectacular. The sound is good but the grunts get repetitive if your good. The gameplay is nice because of a great storyline and the extras are a good add. The lifespan is good not to long and drawn out but not to short. Mortal Kombat is extremely fun and orignal. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is up in the ranks with the greats such as Halo and GTA 3.

in the previous mortal kombats, the graphics werent even nearly as good as these ones. but they did have something in them that this game doesn't. And that's liu kang. in all the other mortal kombats liu kang was my favorite fighter and i am really good with him! and when i turned this on to play i was anctious so i did not watch the video and then i went to play arcade and i did not see liu kang so i just went online and tried to see if he was one of the guys i had to unluck. i could not find anywhere that told me how to unlock him so i just gave up and then i watched the video and i saw that liu kang was not in the game and i was bumed. so then i went to training and i got better with all of the other guys. and now i have basically mastered the game with anybody and i am undefeatable. but the cool things about this game are the conquest, even that is kinda boring atleast they thoght of something new to put in them. and i also like the krypt where there is a chance of getting something good or getting something bad that males it more fun. and i also like frost's fatality alot! i think that it is freakin awesome! personnaly, even without liu kang and all i still thing that this is the best mortal kombat yet!
