As a big fan of the LOTR movies, it was a pleasure to check out the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers game. As you can see by the reader reviews below, LOTR:TTT is the thinking man's hack'n'slash game for 2002. I'd seriously suggest checking this one out.
On an aside, I also checked out the LOTR Soundtrack (see: SOUNDTRACK) and it's spectacular.

this is the best game ive ever played and i even know some cheats even though it tells u them when u beat the game and it only works when u beat the game

this game is just awesome even though its short still its fun to play after that. the only thing about this game that is COMPLETELY RETARDED is Isildur. He is so strong that its almost impossible to get perfect with him and he just replaces aragorn and says all of his lines and Sam ,merry, and pippin weren't in it.

In this game you get to live the life of Arragon,Legolas and Gimli. It is your playing that saves the lives of men. It is your descision so take your pick! Through this game there are some hard levels but they are the most fun. Make your descision for the lives of men.!

Yo yo look Lotr the two towers is almost like a movie ya know wa im saying you have all the cool places from the first and the second movie like Amon Hen,Balins Tombe,Moria(here you can fight against the real cave troll) lets see you also got Helms Deep and that level contains 3 more sublevels anyway you are a sucker a blind guy or a deaf guy or even you live in acave or somethin if you dont this game PeAcE FrOm HoLlaNd Amsterdam(you know the coffeeshops haha..

at first, i thought lord o the tings was stupid, but my friends nagged me to watcht he felowship of the ring i must say.......i was wrong. it was amazing, i love legolas, his aim with his bow is amazing. which is why i beat the game with him first. the game is liek the movie, most of it anyway, they added in some parts, the graphics are amazing, the game si fun, and i love how each character is unique, like aragorn has good speed and saverage attck, legolas is fast but weak, and gimli is strong but slow. I love the music, and the cutscenes. What brings this down to a 9 instead of 10 is the shortness. Even when they added parts of the fellowship of the ring in it, it was still very short. maybe 5 hours at most.But beating it on expert with all 3 characters and the secret missions was fun. that extends the gameplay to maybe around 8-10 hours. I can't wait for return of the king in november. good job EA games.

The game is awsome!!! Interesting levels, complex characters, and awsome moves!!! The movies before the levels are interesting and the extra features rock! I just got the game today and I have to say it is one of my fav. that I own. I'd advise any one who likes a good adventure to get the game and save Middle Earth!!!

One of my fovorite things in the game is how its switches from movie to game.In the perfect position!And it has the voices of all the real actors. Some times you will feel like your in the real LOTR world. Definently worth the price. Great game-Highly Recomended

Hey it's a Lord Of the Rings video game!! Was my first impression of this very unique game. The gameplay is very fun. especially when you fight Saruman's Uruk-hai. The best thing about this game is it's sound and its graphics. It's sound is taken directly from the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring's soundtrack. It truly gives a gothic type style feel to the game. The voice-overs for each character is done by the actual actors in the movies. The biggest thing about the game is its GRAPHICS. In the Helms Deep level your supposed to be fighting hundreds of orcs and it looks and feels like your fighting hundreds of orcs. There aren't any glitches in the game either. Another really fun thing in the game is all the unlockable stuff. You can get photographs and skeches of various places in the game(depending upon which level your at), you can unlock interviews about the various actors and there opinion of the game and the coolest thing is the unlockable character. There are only two major PROBLEMS with the game: it's length and it level of difficulty. This game is a little too short. There are only 10 levels in the game. Although there are 3 characters that you can choose from (Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli), the fighting aspect gets pretty repetitive. It took me 10 hours tops to beat. The other bad thing about the game is it's difficulty. While some levels are so hard it takes hours to beat some levels are so easy you beat them on your first try. Over-all buy this video game for a good time but don't expect to be happy for long.

I have read the book and seen the movie, they couldn't have gotten closer. The graphics were completely amazing, they have got the most creativity I cannot believe it. Aragorn is so cool he is totally lifelike. Legolas is so cool he sounds and looks lke Orlando Brown as an elf. Gimli was short had his funny words and accent. This is by far the best game EVER.

If you never played this game you are missing somthing great. You
can play any part of the movie and secret missions. You can be isildor after beating secret missions. Plus you get to use attacks used in the movie and more. You get to buy items, attacks, and strength after each mission. the levels are action packed you verse trolls,orcs, goblins,and more. Helms Deep is the best you never stop killing ocs plus you do excactly what they do in the movie you save Legilos and Gimli. It's unendless amounts of fun. This game could be compared to your favriot and beat it. Just try it and you will get adicded to it.

I suggjest EVERYONE plays this game!! It has awesome graphics, So awesome when it changes to the game I don't even know!! Beautiful scenery! Great storyline! I could go on and on and on about this game but I won't. (I don't think anyone want's to read a 500 paragraph review.) Please check this game out!! I give it 10 stars. Go LOTR!!

This Game is the best one out there folks; awesome graphics (sometines you can't tell when your fighting and when its showing the movie), excellent fighting tecknieque and special combos, BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!
