I think the wind waker is realy fun i like the length of the game and the story the grapics are beyond acseptable. The sound is cool (well the music) i also like the way it sort of sticks 2 the legend. It is very emotionel. In the fun of it i rank it (out of ten) ten .
I don't play any other game and i come home after doing somthing realy quikley i spend all of my time in my room. I havent fineshed it yet but so far it is wiked i dont spend that much time doing any thing else and i spend most of the night playing it so i don't get much sleep. I am not that good at it but i try.The game is too hard to dislike there are often bits of it i don't understand but i get it in the end. It is a bit sad expesialy when ur sister is captured and when u have 2 tell ur grandmother. I enjoy fighting the enimies it is realy fun. There are some enimies i don't like like the guards in the forsaken fortress but in one word the game i great

When I first heard the prologue of the game I thought it was okay, but as you go through the game it starts to suck. Since Link is gone I'm thinking he's wupping on Majora somewhere in Termina. So this new kid (the hero in The Wind Waker) fishes for pieces of the triforce and gains the same exact triforce piece that Link has. How the fruit-cake did that happen? Just because Link walks through a portal to Termina dosen't mean his triforce piece flew off of his hand and exploded over the Great Sea. And another thing. The Master Sword chooses the someone to be the hero of Hyrule or something right? And whoever that someone is, (Link) is the only one who can pull the Master Sword out. So how does some kid just pull it out if Link already did? And why didn't the Master Sword knock out the new kid for seven years like it did to Link? They look the same age don't they? And how did Zelda become a pirate? But, it's fun. The game play is great. You can dodge and hit and you get cool weapons. I'm a big fan of the Zelda series but the game sort'a scrambles the entire Zeld story line.
Over all it's still a great game. I just hope Nintendo comes out with a Zelda game with a better storyline. I still think it's worth buying.
P.S. If you didn't understand some of this ,then play Ocorina of Time and Majora's Mask.

this game is as good as the one on the n64 if you liked that this is better the picture is better and it is so updated. I think this game is so cool it is the best game on the gamecube yet well for me it is any way.any way im going now to play on it i think im addicted and you get the ocarena of time and the master queast witch has neather been released before is that so cool or what........bye................

well let me see. i hated the fact that u had 2 said every where give me a horse any day the dungons were easy it doesnt beat ocarina of time that was the best game i have ever played graphics sucked enemies were childish but it was a pretty addictive game, i mean im a die hard zelda fan i only bought a game cube for zelda even know it looked crap but i got 1 any way for that game i was hooked in a matter of minutes and then it seemed the graphics didnt matter anymore but it is a must buy! but i hope they bring a new zelda game out that beats ocarina of time and the graphics and sound are revalutionary and sets the mood like the first 1 did. i dont know if any 1 else saw the teaser when it first got anounced that there was gonna be a nuther for the gc but i saw it on the net and it looked breath taking then ayear later i saw the windwaker and was disopionted but dont let it put u off its a good game anyway

This game totally rules. You don't get much better than this. The gameplay is awsome, the enemies are awsome, the weapons and items are awsome, the controls are awsome, the graphics are awsome, the storyline is semi-awsome, and it is just an awsome game. Ya, the sailing does get old after a while (some kid calculated it, and if you don't do any sidequests at all, you just play the game straight through, 10% of gameplay is sailing! Ugh!) But other than that, I have NO complaints. Also, the gameboy advance link-up is cool too. That way two peeps can play. If you don't have the game already, then buy it, but eat alot before you buy it, cuz once you start, you can't stop!

I really liked this Zelda game, because of all the dungeons and puzzling difficulty.Although, if you ask me, the graphics really sucked.It looks all animated,stupidly,like DBZ and pokemon and all that crap.I'm still playing it, because im stuck on collecting the stupid Triforce shards.I'm on the last one, but its hard to get into that dumb ghost ship.Anyway,its still really fun, killing the bosses and dungeons and side quests.But, still it wasn't as good anywhere near The ocarina of time,and maybe even Majoras mask.This game looks like a 4 year old's game, and i was ashamed to play it.But dont get me wrong, the game was very puzzling and hard at times.What is up with japan and that weird animation thing?!The new graphics really P'oed me when I heard about it.But, the game is great if you want a challenge, so if you are still into Zelda, I do recommend it.

Graphics are pretty good cell shadding kind of sucky. Soond being good, good, gameplay. Game is long but entertaing the wole time. fun game a liitle too much sailing around and too much hippie faggot don't make main charachter look like idiot next time. I enjoy playing but every time I see the main charachter in that out fit i wants to be kickin his but yo.

this is just a little extra i forgot to put in my actual review.
This game is not quite as good as the 7th (Ocarina of Time) or Majora's Mask (the 9th) but it is still an extremly good game and is a real asset to the series that is already more than 10 strong.

Wind Waker is a great Zelda game, only second to Oot. The playing area as a whole is huge(it takes about 5min. from one side to another). But that space is 90% water! With every island you can see the whole thing from your boat. The temples are also few as well as easy. Now the Plot. I'm glad that the whole tri-force thing is resolved but did you have to drown Hyrule! Where will link go now? Will he go to that place in MM? OH GOD NO!! Speaking of link, the game's main character is not the real thing. Even though they mention him, they never say what happen. You might be wondering why I gave it a 9? Believe it or not, I'm a true zelda fan, NES-Cube. WW did have a lot of good things. For one, the new fighting moves, not just the parry but the four-hit combos. It flows very smoothly and fast. Another thing is the new items. The grapple hook makes you feel like India Jones. The game is not limmited to land and water; you can now fly with the deku leaf. Make a giant mainland, bring in more combo moves, tell us what happens to the real link and make it more difficult and long and you have a great Zelda game. And the whole cel-shading; drop it. It is such an old arguement. Just try playing the bonus OoT and see why!

This game is good...for a "cartoon shading" game. It only makes Ocarina of Time look better. Overall, it is pretty good for a new guy. Get more of the old mosters and get back the awsome graphics that the Legend of Zelda is famous for! The storyline is good but the graphics and monsters could of made it better. I nearly died once i played the fort. But as the game went on...

Well Ww was a good game, but nothing like OoT. OoT was a groundbreaking game with great 3-D graphics, originality, and epic fights and gameplay. In Ww, you didnt have that. You did have a new hero, but he looked like the old link. Zelda wasnt there, but she was. There was no such thing as hyrule when the game first started. And THEY WERE ALL KIDS. Graphics were ok but cartoon-like. Gameplay was ok, but not epic. The boss battle of OoT was epic. There were lighting bolts hitting the ground, Ganon looked awesome in hig transformed state, and all around hyrule, during the battle, was hell on earth. In Ww, you fight a samurai version of Ganon while Zelda shoots your light arrows at him. All in all, this games ok..just a renter though...its not as good as its predecessor

I thougt it was quiete good ,but it might have tried to uz an Impa charac. like past Zelda games. I also admired itsuse of an old boss{Gohma} from oot,but lost track ov her spider like appearance. Other than that the game seemed fun!{could have mentioned Ganondorf was a Gerudo} Ithink the game was awsome!!!!!
I think the sage Laruto may have been Princess Rutos mother,or have relation to her in some way {from ocarina of time}. One strange misshap in the game is the Deku tree died in oot,and came back as the deku sprout. The thing is unless the sprout was dug up it would be in egzistance because the forest was level with Hyrule Field making it impossible for it 2 be in Wind waker. Also if my thoughts are correct ganondorf would remain in the sages were alive, or cept being replaced and become sages he would still be there still which is is the biggest error ov all. Ialso would like to know if the zoras still live,because the hylians,humans,and gorons still live,but maybe they can't survie onland for long,or maybe they killed them off the game which is a big mysteryto me. Ilike the game mainly because its just funenough for me.

I love it! At first I thought the grphics were kinda bad. But ya know... If you play for a while you forget link looks like gumpy... YOu loosing your sword in the begining isn't cool but how could I say no to a game were link get to sail with pirates?
Over all the game is pretty cool that's why I give it 10 outta 10!

Oh and one more thing the songs are awesome the dungeons arent repetitive the bosses are stratigic this game is the best Zelda ever when you sail in the water you can feel the beat of it all like your right there in the game finding new islands
and weird hidding places for treasures I admit I almost cried when Links sister got kidnapped and I think its funny when your crling in that crawl space in the jail and you come up to a rat and then he pulles on the bell soo funny okay I'n weird but

Wind Waker didn't exactly meet my expectaions when I compared it Ocarina of time, but who cares, it's a cool zelda game!!! At first when I heard about the cartoon graphics I thought I would hate the game, but it's story is so good and it's so fun I don't give! Wind Waker is a typical zelda game, beat temples, kill bosses, collect triforce, get speacial items and weapons, etc... The only reason I give Wind Waker a nine and not a ten is because i'm picky, and think there should be more optional quests, and I like being on the sea and all, but I think there should be some kind of mainland. Anyway, I still think it's an awsome game and can't wait for the next ZELDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is unique as this not only helps you with your gaming skills it also helps you with your problem solving skills in the outside world. What makes this game so brilliant is how beutifull the visuals and the characters look. The plot is also magnificent as a young boy you set off on an adventure to save your sister and while you're journying through your quest you discover a more sinister plot. The only bad point of the entire game is that it is too short but I guess if it was any longer it wouldn't be so good. I can't wait for the next Zelda in the series
