The Best Game Ever! |

Oh my God! This game is the freakin best game. I wonder why people don't like it for the graphics. It's the first game ever to have emotional faces during the gameplay. I got this game the first day it came out and I was amazed. It takes awhile to beat the game and after you beat it you get a second quest. I beat the game in about 40 to 50 hours with sidequests. The gameplay is really the King of the Zelda Universe cause it never gets old. You can kill a monster a million times but it is still fun. You get many weapons in the game plus the story is awesome! It is so unpredictable that you couldn't imagine. The value of the game is awesome and I think it is worth more than 50 bucks. Maybe 60 or 70 but 50 is small. This is a must own game and even more if your a Zelda fan. I don't lie!

THIS GAME IS AWSOME! what is wrong with the graphics!?! They're awsome! The story line also proves that the wind waker is the perfect game so stop whining about the graphic!!! They're helle sweet! Thats right you heard it! HELLA SWEET! ehem... sorry about that out burst but I got frustrated about people saying the graphics where lame...I truley love this game and all of the people who agree are awsome because the graphics are awsome and all but so are the peoples personality and the faceses Link and all the peopl,e make are hilariously fun to see. I draw Wind Waker pictures on a lot of art books and its fun to go on the internet and see the art work that other people do on ZeldaUniveres.com.A lot of people draw Link for a living(practically me...) but some peopl,e made the ocarina of time Link look like the Wind Waker practically.

I'm still not all that impressed by the graphics, It does seem a little childish, and no doubt the nintendo64 graphics, and image of it all, are probably "Zelda Graphics" at it's best, seen by myself so far anyway. Although they do run smooth with the cell shading, I mainly have problems with the bushes and weeds, and also the way the water falls beside the boat when you are speeding through the water. I love the way the bombs go off in WindWaker though, it's pretty trippy. All in all, it's like watching a cartoon. Plus, I haven't found a single noticible bug yet, so that's a bonus! But considering the amount of time it took them to release it, it better be bug free. Now, with that aside, the gameplay is so much fun, and there is so much to do, that they could have done this game in black and white, with no sound, and it still would be better then any other game out there. I've grown up with the Zelda series, and finished every game it's series has to offer, and I'll continue playing them till the day I die, best game series in the world, I haven't picked up my phone, or left my house since I got it! Anybody who says different has been brainwashed by x-box where they think crappy games with cool graphics are good enough...

This game was awesome.Never doubt shiguru miyamoto he is the best in the biz.All you people who said it was bad can eat it, this game rocked.The final fight was equal to Ocarina of times final battle. the graphics shocked me in a good way, they were better than i expected.But zelda isnt about graphics its about the game so all you cry babies who play games for graphics arent true zelda fans. This game was perfect in all ways.The only thing i can say bad is it wasnt long enough.This games music was awesome the graphics were awesome the control was phenomanal the plot was perfect. Shall i go on?? simply put this game is as good as Ocarina of Time and most zelda games are.im gonna go play some more now so peace

This game is one of a kind. Just like all the other Zelda games this one was great!I have already beat the game and im still playing it! The grafics of this game are extreamly alsome. When i sall it on t.v i thought it would suck. But i got it because all the other Zelda games were fun. This Zelda game has alot of thanking. It is a very great game!!!!!!!! Im hocked on the game. as sone as i get home i play it.

the summary say's it all, words really aren't enough. its amazing how cel shading has improved this game expedentionaly when i played on the n64 it felt like heaven but now ive gone beyond that way, way beyond that. the graphics the game play the story i almost cried in happinness even the new smell when you open the case. i still cant tell whats better the story or the actual game. but the coolest thing of all is that something is always happenning. when i checked a walkthrough (of which i often do to check how far i am) on this great game i couldnt believe how much i had missed and just how i had gotten like a millionth of the way. it just goes to show that there is such a game where there is so much going on and still so much more to do.
this really is a game of never ending happiness

I've played most of the Zelda games there are, and this one has got to be one of the most unique of them all. The new cell shading used adds great effects in battles, new expressions on peoples faces, and nice smooth gameplay. The gameplay is the best I've ever seen; you can even pick up and use the enemies weapons that they drop! I was surprised that some celtic music was thrown into the game at some points, and the way the music changes during a battle is awesome. The game itself is massive, and provides many hours of gameplay. The only things that could have been changed are; for one thing, cell shading isn't the best, and some realism would have done it good. Also, the ending was kinda confusing and (though they tried to make it seem all happy and everything) it was depressing to see all that distinguished the Zelda storyline just drowned under a massive sea forever. What's up with that? Anyway, a great game, tons of fun, and the quests never seem to end. I definitely recommend it.

Legend of zelda:Windwaker is an awesome sequel to the zelda games! The graphics are great though i thought they could have done better. I hope they make another sequel. At first i thought little link had nothing to do with the older games but now that i know tetra is princess zelda and link is the "Hero of Time" i see that it all fits together. i love the new bad guys and the dark lord ganon! the sound effects are so cool, like if link hit a rock with his sword you can hear the metal hit the rock. and link's facial expressions! If he picks up a heavy pot you can tell by the way his eyes grow. Windwaker was born into the zelda lagacy and instanly became a classic. my dad used to always play legend of zelda on NES&let me watch and ever since Zelda games have been like a tradition in my family. and hopefully when i have kids there will still be zelda and link and hyrule. Wind waker truly is the zelda game for a new generation of gamers. my favorite zelda games are legend of zelda: Ocarina of time (for N64) and The legend of zelda: A link to the past (for SNES).

There are two kinds of people in this world--those who think Zelda's radical, new toon-shaded style is a brilliant move, and those who think its bug-eyed characters belong in cheesy '70s-era cartoons, not in a videogame for adults. But I got news for people in the second group, you've got to play it to believe it!! When I first found out about the new cel-shading I was a little surprised but once you start playing the game you don't even realize that the graphics are different. All you know is that it looks great and its fun to play. Unfortunately this game isn't as ground breaking as the greatest Zelda game and arguably the best game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but Oot is hard a hard game to beat. There are only a few problems with the game: it's length and it's items. Windwaker has exactly 6 total dugeaons. These dungeons each require special items to get to the boss( like in all Zelda games). It took me about 20 hours to get everything in the game. Oot had 9 dungeons to beat, legend of zelda: a link to the past had about 11 dungeons and legend of Zelda: Majora's mask had 5 dungeons. Windwaker was a little bit to short but so was Majora's mask. The only other problem is the items. They put link with almost exactly the same items with a few exceptions. Over-all this game had an engrossing story-line (as do all Zelda games) and it was as fun to play as it is to watch.

The Legend of Zelda: the wind waker is the BEST Platform game Ever to grace this earth! The amount of levels in the game is great, and the final fight with Ganon is splendid! Hint: if you want wasy Spoils from Enemies, just use the Grappling Hook on them! Great for Knights crests and Joy Pendants!

ok ok ok well at first i thought this game sucked cause when i first saw the graphics on tv im like eww they make link stupider than ever. Then like a month after i started reading nintendo power. While reading it i found out that Zelda the windwaker got 10 stars, later that day I was watching cartoon network and i also found out that it got another ten. Isaid to myself that this really must be a good game. I went to target and i played it for like 10 min. it wasn't soo bad. Then a while later i asked my mom to buy it for me then she did. I still had my regrets but i got more involved in the game and i realized this game is good! i mean the story is so totally cool my favorite part was when link found out tetra, the pirate, was Zelda. But not only is the story good but the people in the game you can see how they feel.The expression on their face actually tell you what they are feeling. This is probably one of the greatest games ever made. Two thumbs up man!

When I first saw the graphics for the new Zelda game I almost died when I saw Link fighting Ganon. But then I saw the real pics. I almost died again, this time of sadness. I could not believe what they had done to it and swore not to buy it. But pretty soon I felt it was Zelda so I bought it. And it turns out that it was awesome! The toon graphics make it seem like an anime and gives better facial expresions. I always laugh at the faces when they do something(if you dont you have no humor). The new ability to pick up enemies weapons was genius. and the new character Tetra has become one of my fav all time Zelda characters. The story is incredibly well done and so are the dungeons. Though sadly, the dungeons dont add as great a challenge as past games. And Triforce hunting was very fun but got tiresome. Plus the easy temples make the game short. But the cutscemes are awesome. Especially the ones after beating Forsaken Fortress the second time. Also the enemies do almost no damage at all. Even bosses do as much as one heart. Speaking of bossesthey aren't given names like in ocarina. And finally...what did Ganon do!? Did he eat Robotnik or something? To take over Hyrule he just has to roll over it! Plus his laugh sounds like a strangled turkey. Though I respect the changes and nonetheless give this game a perfect rating.
P.S.Im not kidding, he's HUGE!!!

I heard that the cartoony graphics on this game were extremely bad and by hearing this I wasn't going to get it but i'm extremely glad I did. I actually think that the graphics are better! But the story was a bit dodgy. I don't think they should've started a new hero but other than that the plot is brilliant! If you don't have this game you are absoleutly bonkers. You're mad to miss out

This game rocks and I hope that all future games for Zelda can compete to beat this!! It took me forever to beat it but that's what makes the game so fun, I mean come on if you can beat a game in 3 days it's a piece of crap so this game is way awesome.
I espeicially like the part where you can just travel anywhere and do anything you want I mean the area is huge and it just has so many surprises you just don't know what your gonna find.
The gadgets are awesome because they are updated and look alot better and the boss aren't too hard yet their still challenging so it pretty dang good!!! The best part though I think is that the makers still found a way to keep the games goin' on strong. The graphics some people say stink but having those type of graphics I think are some of the best qualities a game can have! Being able to have classic graphics that still look good!
The story line was a little confusing but later you started to understand it and it made alot of sense. (At least to me anyway)Anyway this game was great I hope there'll be more!!!!!

TLOZ is the best Gamecube game I've EVER played. It gives great fun, and a HUGE adventure that I never get tired of. My favorite parts of the game are when I'm in the Tower of the Gods, Forbidden Woods and Ganon's Tower. And also my favorite battles are when I fight Helmaroc King, Molgera and Ganondorf. The weapon set are the coolset. I like the Hookshot, Hero's Bow and Boomerang. TLOZ brings a whole new character look, and I really like it when they are cel-shaded. The ememies are fun to battle and so are the bosses. The graphics ROCK. The sound is AWSOME. And the gameplay RULES. Wind Waker is one AWSOME game, and you should buy it. And should be in anyones Gamecube owners stock.

I agree about Zelda oot, and as i read over some of the reviews , I'm sitting here thinking ? ok where is the helpers , the cheats , or the how to's when your stuck..I would love to see people write a step or something like that to help my kids to play..They aren't allowed to use a cheat or a easy way out unless they are really stuck...So please all the Zelda fans write on, and help those people that need it..forever Zelda right, I love oot , played and finished it , but hay every now and then need help , that was how me and my son had our time together , and with m.mask well that says enough, but we finished that to with help not to talk about my bill, so thats why i come here to read on and get some help and not a phone bill..This is really the way me and my boy contact, since i am a single mother , i have to be mom and dad , and now he's waiting for me to catch up to where he is , but i find i'm lost in this game and need help....So come on Zelda lover help out a mom ...Forever Zelda

The graphics aren't bad (i know most of u think they are).I still haven't beaten it but i fool around What do u xpect?im lookin for a stratigy guide and came aroung to this place.im not a good writer so it probably wont get posted up :(.i gave this game a ten because it has no downfalls to me.its easy and fun. What more do u want!if u still hate this game then try it ur self. u might like it. I recommend you to buy this game... OR AT LEAST RENT IT.

I loved this game, and i got the limited edition so i got the Ocarina of time Master Quest (which) is hard). I realy like the bonus features at the end. I think that the worst bit is when you have to search for the triforce shards, because even with the charts, they are still awkward.
I find that the easiset way to get lots of money is the savage Labarinth on Outset Island.
