Can't Get Enough Zelda! |
| Anthony Filipas from Oregon, USA says (20/Aug/2003): |
TLOZ is the best Gamecube game I've EVER played. It gives great fun, and a HUGE adventure that I never get tired of. My favorite parts of the game are when I'm in the Tower of the Gods, Forbidden Woods and Ganon's Tower. And also my favorite battles are when I fight Helmaroc King, Molgera and Ganondorf. The weapon set are the coolset. I like the Hookshot, Hero's Bow and Boomerang. TLOZ brings a whole new character look, and I really like it when they are cel-shaded. The ememies are fun to battle and so are the bosses. The graphics ROCK. The sound is AWSOME. And the gameplay RULES. Wind Waker is one AWSOME game, and you should buy it. And should be in anyones Gamecube owners stock.

Great Game! Fun and interesting! |
| Zelda Lover from Montreal, Quebec says (19/Aug/2003): |
When I first saw this game and its graphics of course, I thought it was weird cause it was cartoonish but then when I kept on playing I got used to it and now I think that it's cute to put in a unique cartoonish look to Zelda. Zelda; the Windwaker is a real fun game but it doesn't just have a quest, it has lots of other stuff to do. Maybe the quest is a bit short and a bit easy but there is so much other stuff to do which balances it out. After playing Zelda for a while, I was always excited to see what would happen. Great game, I give it 10 stars. If you want to play a great game, buy this one!

simply the best |
| a.c.c from u.k says (18/Aug/2003): |
the game is kwite short but the amount of side quest u can do is amazing. compared to the other games of zelda i say its almost the same as the oot (orican of time)but on water the boat is fun and the wind waker baton lets the game down and makes it a bit childish but if your thinking of buying it then hurry its a great game so hurrrryyyy...

Bets game for gamecube!!!! |
| Adam Hayden from Braintree Essex England says (14/Aug/2003): |
This game is brilliant, the cell shadings cool, the fightings cool and the bosses are better then ever!
There is a thing that lets it down though-its a bit too easy!
But that doesnt affect my score since its such a great game!
I like the way after you complete it once you have to do it again in your pj's.
Another thing i like is that you get to play as other characters likee medli (the bird girl!)

The most life changing game of the century. |
| Allan G from Scotland, Inverness says (14/Aug/2003): |
This game is unique as this not only helps you with your gaming skills it also helps you with your problem solving skills in the outside world. What makes this game so brilliant is how beutifull the visuals and the characters look. The plot is also magnificent as a young boy you set off on an adventure to save your sister and while you're journying through your quest you discover a more sinister plot. The only bad point of the entire game is that it is too short but I guess if it was any longer it wouldn't be so good. I can't wait for the next Zelda in the series

Its impossible to find something better! |
| brenner from USA louisiana houma says (13/Aug/2003): |
This game is different from the other zelda games,I like the graphics alot better, the gameplays the best part. The sound is ok,I like the boss music for ganondorf,if ever wanna hear it,I just beat him over again. The really hard part is collecting the triforce peices. That took me 2 weeks. Its a really really really really fun game.I like everything about the game except(only triforce I dislike)collecting the triforce peices.I think the games pretty valuable since its rare now(everyone bought most of them I guess)because I havent seen them in stroes for a while. The lifspan is extremely awesome. Its jot original, because Ive never seen a game that looks like a cartoon so much.Overall,I give it a perfect 10.Its a "video game prodigy" I think.

This game rules others are real bad |
| gamer from Leicester,england says (10/Aug/2003): |
I think the wind waker is realy fun i like the length of the game and the story the grapics are beyond acseptable. The sound is cool (well the music) i also like the way it sort of sticks 2 the legend. It is very emotionel. In the fun of it i rank it (out of ten) ten .
I don't play any other game and i come home after doing somthing realy quikley i spend all of my time in my room. I havent fineshed it yet but so far it is wiked i dont spend that much time doing any thing else and i spend most of the night playing it so i don't get much sleep. I am not that good at it but i try.The game is too hard to dislike there are often bits of it i don't understand but i get it in the end. It is a bit sad expesialy when ur sister is captured and when u have 2 tell ur grandmother. I enjoy fighting the enimies it is realy fun. There are some enimies i don't like like the guards in the forsaken fortress but in one word the game i great

Great Gameplay, Bad Storyline |
| T-Force Seeker from Vallejo,USA says (10/Aug/2003): |
When I first heard the prologue of the game I thought it was okay, but as you go through the game it starts to suck. Since Link is gone I'm thinking he's wupping on Majora somewhere in Termina. So this new kid (the hero in The Wind Waker) fishes for pieces of the triforce and gains the same exact triforce piece that Link has. How the fruit-cake did that happen? Just because Link walks through a portal to Termina dosen't mean his triforce piece flew off of his hand and exploded over the Great Sea. And another thing. The Master Sword chooses the someone to be the hero of Hyrule or something right? And whoever that someone is, (Link) is the only one who can pull the Master Sword out. So how does some kid just pull it out if Link already did? And why didn't the Master Sword knock out the new kid for seven years like it did to Link? They look the same age don't they? And how did Zelda become a pirate? But, it's fun. The game play is great. You can dodge and hit and you get cool weapons. I'm a big fan of the Zelda series but the game sort'a scrambles the entire Zeld story line.
Over all it's still a great game. I just hope Nintendo comes out with a Zelda game with a better storyline. I still think it's worth buying.
P.S. If you didn't understand some of this ,then play Ocorina of Time and Majora's Mask.

This game is awesome |
| A gamer from England says (29/Jul/2003): |
Originally, I had vowed not to buy this game. I was extremely annoyed that cell shading had found its way into the best game ever. But for some reason I found myself handing over forty quid a few days after it cam out. I started playing on it as soon as I could. Within a few days of playing, I used to sprint home everyday and turn it on so I could get a few more minutes playing. I like it becuase the game is so atmospheric. You can really believe that your the guy in the green clothes beating up Ganon. The music in the game is great and the graphics do grow on you.
The game is cleverly linked to Ocarina of time, and this also makes you want to play it even more. And at the end of it all, you get a second play through. Although during this one you are not wearing he classic get-up (whick sort of spoils it) playing the game again is very emjoyable, and on this quest you can take the time to gather all the pieces of hearts and do all the mini-quests.
This game is extremely good. It has a very long life span, is extremely fun and will have you hooked.

Get the old link and zelda BACK!!! |
| Keith from Bay City, Texas, USA says (29/Jul/2003): |
This game is good...for a "cartoon shading" game. It only makes Ocarina of Time look better. Overall, it is pretty good for a new guy. Get more of the old mosters and get back the awsome graphics that the Legend of Zelda is famous for! The storyline is good but the graphics and monsters could of made it better. I nearly died once i played the fort. But as the game went on...
MAKE A BETTER ZELDA GAME!!!

Nice one Nintendo |
| steve cook from kineton , U.K says (28/Jul/2003): |
This is one of the best RPG's on the cube. The story line is great and the music is awesome. There are a huge amount of items, treasure maps and heart pieces to find which makes the game last a long time. Travelling over the oceans in your little boat is a great idea and is really fun + controlling the wind is great. The grapics, however, don't really push the Gamecube to its limit and could've been better but they are good none the less. This is a great game which I think all Gamecube owners should buy.

on the dot |
| nicholas catania from LONGS, USA says (27/Jul/2003): |
the lengend of zelda the wind waker rocked. i relly liked the new look and the story line was amazing. it almost made me cry. the wind waker was not a good name for it but still Nintendo did a outstanding job and i hope they never stop making the games.

The best zelda game yet |
| spenser from Belton Misouri America says (27/Jul/2003): |
This zelda game was the funnest that I've ever played. The bosses were unique in their own way.there were so many miniquests I didn't know were to start. The overall plot was short until the triforce charts. I value this game obove all otheres I have. The graphics took awile to get used to but they worked realy well. Most of the game was original exept for zelda, ganondork {aka ganaon} ect.The sounds and music matched perfectly. I'm not asking I'm telling you if you read this buy the game now or you'll regret it later.

awsome |
| A gamer from newyork usa says (26/Jul/2003): |
it is the best zelda game yet i've played ocarina of time and majoras mask and they are not as good as the wind waker. I liked it because it's funny like when the pirates shoot u out of that barral and how many lives does ganondorf have. u'd think in the windwaker when he's fat he'd give up i mean really u'd think he'd leard his lesson by now he may be powerful but he can't beat link but if he joined the good guys hea'd be a powerful ally.

Overall A Great Game. |
| Todd from Port Au Prince, Haiti says (25/Jul/2003): |
I think I am most impressed by the length of the game. I tend to get hooked on a game that I like and tend to beat it quickly due to the long hours I put in. This game while a little too easy in most parts makes up for it in the amazing length and depth of the story line. I may be sticking my foot in my mouth because I haven't yet finished the game but it would be nice to see some of the other old charcters like Saria make an appearance. As for the graphics... like most I was unimpressed at first but they really do grow on me quickly and I prefer them to the previous games. I am a US Marine stationed in Haiti so I can't wait until I get my console here from the States. Even us old guys have to have a kid's heart sometimes.

Pretty Good |
| Josh from Alberta, Canada says (22/Jul/2003): |
I was ecpecting a lot more. I have been a Zelda fan for a very long time, and every game got better. But as far as this one goes, I liked Majoras mask and Ocarina of Time better. Don't get me wrong, This game is fun, and amusing, for a while, but there are things that get boring. Sailing is one, and finding those damn triforce peices. The sword attacks are incredible and I like the weapons and the villains. But i was disapointed with the story line. I miss the actual Legend of Zelda and Link, Not some little boy and Tetra. I loved how every starts to wrap together, near the middle the game finally starts to continue on with the plot of the other games. I like the visual effects, but it is definitly not a x-box game. I was quite disapointed because I was so used to x-box, when i got this the graphics are just not the same as x-box, Nintendo, you could have done better in that dipartment. But anyways, im still a fan and im still addicted to this game.

Very cool [; ) |
| A gamer says (21/Jul/2003): |
I liked this game a lot. It was long but not too long. The graphics didn't reach full game cube potensial though. The game is fun and when it's done you get to play it all over agin but the second one is different like you start out with a color camera if you got a camera in the last one that is. And also you don't have to ware thoughs creepy lepercon clothes. (though waring the same clothes ALL the time is kinda creepy too). And as for bosses their pretty easy which is good I guess but you gotta beat em' twice. -worth a months savings- unless you've got a job. Ooout
