Yes! This zelda game is very close to perfection! Although it is not as good as Oot, it is very close to perfection. The gameplay is perfect, the graphics (cel shaded) are not just for kids! The people who think that have serious issues... And Ganon does not look llike a retard, true, he isnt as evil as he is in Oot, but he is suave, and knows how to keep his cool. Anyway, the graphics are amazing, and the idea of having a world above Hyrule - it is ingenious (I LOVE IT!) The story line, well as you know, it is great, finding the triforce of courage, a dead pirate ship, a crew of unpredictable pirates led by Zelda herself. This game is near to perfection. However, the only fault. Are you ready? There are only six temples which includes ganons castle, true there are several 3-4 room dungeons in which you acquire charts, but those are not temples... I feel that there should have been the six temples from Oot that had to be defeated in order to release the six sages who open up the path to Ganons castle. Then, the game would have reached perfection.

The Ledgend of Zelda: Windwaker is the most action packed game I ever played! Even though it has lots of boring graphics, it has lots of action in it and that is what makes it the most realistic game for me. Besides that it is kinda of weird at first when at the begining of the story you start out on your birthday but then have to go on a quest to save your sister. But that is not the only bad news as you play this fabulous game, because you will meet different people and monsters as you travel on your way to Dragon Roost Island for exsample. You have to go up to the top of the mountain and defeat the monster that is messing with the dragons tail. And when you do, you'll encounter lots of new horrors. Anyhow the monsters are easy to come by so you can easily slip past them. So buy the game now at your nearest store and play. And once you do you'll see that it is the most action packed game out of the whole zelda series that is the most best and also makes you feel as if tyou were actually the main character in the story!

I bought Wind Waker and Beat it eight days later (I also Played 8 hours a day) This game has changed my perseption of the way games are constructed I love the Cel-shading and the controls and everything about it also ganon is back I missed him too link has a sister (Neat)zelda's a pirate (Neat as well) link can collect better weapons in this game.this is not an insult toward previous zelda titles (I love every thing about them as well)

I've played the other Zelda games and with half a brain you could have figured out all the dungeons (with the exception of ocarina of time's water temple) but this one's different. In the earth temple light puzzles especially it takes a crapload of brainpower to solve. One thing i don't get though is why the the sages changed their names from Rudo and Saria to Laredo and Fador.Being an oot patron i know their names. It's good to have our old villain back. I mean that Majora character was LAME!!! His second form runs around the a headless chicken and sounds like one too! Ganondorf has been the bad guy in every Zelda game except Majora's Mask. It stinks that you only have the light arrows for two minutes before zelda takes them and uses them on Ganon. The Spoils items are a nice touch especially cuz the skull necklaces which i got 67 of in my second trip to the forsaken fortress can make you 50 rupees for three of them. Most of all i love Link's parry attack it can kill one of those stupid lava bugs in one hit. Little hint. kill the giant moth with one fire arrow. It's cool that you have the grappling hook and the hookshot together and cooler still that the new sages help you in the temples. I wish they could kill the stupid Floormasters though instead of getting grabbed by them every 3 seconds.

everything in this game is all great! there isn't anything wrong with this game except for the sailing! and one more thing i hate all those faggots that say that this game has something wrong with just like that bastard named steve from germany.....now, if you don't have this game please buy it but if you think it's too expensive wait for Christmas or your birthday or something like that

It was cool but the storyline couldve been better other than that it was awesome and it was cool how they used the boat instead of epona but i dont like to have to travel long and i liked epona and the graphics coodve been better even though i like the cartoony look on the people

i love zelda and the windwaker. me and my friend have been completly addicted to zeld since she got a gamecube the only thing i didnt like about the game was sailing, but with balad of the gales you can portal to some of the 49 different islands on your map. the basic idea is that you are a dude called link who has to save princess zelda and defeat ganondorf along with the help of your boat, your sorwd, leaf, arrows and loads more. the amount of freedom the game gives you is great. the graphics and music are so cool along with the detail that has been put into the game. there is so much to do and loads of extras. like being able to become a segul and following treasure charts. the charachters are amazing too. each has a perpose in the game and gives you hints about small or large tasks. Zelda has to be my favourite game ever ever ever and i would seriously recomend buying it. prepare to be observent and a handy sowrdsman - good luck. i wish that zelda could be on x-box coz we have one of those, i even dream about zelda, is that normal???

The wind waker is the best game I've ever played.The best thing is that it is on gamecube.For me the bird in forsaken forterst was kinda hard.In fire mountin was hard too because I lost my way.At first it's dumb because it is Link's birthday than he has to go to forsaken forteres thats just bad luck.I'm a big fan and i mean big.For you rookies out good luck (you'll need it).If you are stuck in the dragon rooest temple boss all you have to do is look up at the dragon ,valoo hit his tail with grappling hook valoo come straight down do it three and the scropion thing armor will shed then hit it with grappleing hook agian then slash it with your sword keep doing it until he dies. If you are stuck in the second boss your lucky because I am going to help you.The first thing you need to do is walk staight to the leaf guy and the gaint plant will close take out your boomerang and cut all the vines with your boomerang then the giant plant will open agian atack the thing with sword but, do it fast until it dead.

Sure the graphics are childish, but you can't judge a book by its' cover! I still haven't beaten the game and it doesn't ever get dull! I'm just sayin' if you don't get it, your a slave to the government. >:(

Nintendo, all I have to say to you is, WOW! You guys have REALLY outdone yourselves this time! There might not be very many levels, but the sidequests are MASSIVE! I have yet to master them all, but I've already beaten the game! However, I suggest you cut down on the difficulty. It's practically impossible for me to get past The Savage Labryinth, or break the flight record at the Flight Control Platform island. Furthermore, I think the snake phase of the battle with Puppet Ganon was a bit TOO chaotic. Enough said. The graphics were unbelievable, and you guys did a TERRIFIC job on the shadowing. I'd have to say that the levels in this game were very creative, and unique from each other. I really liked the effects you guys put on the music for the carbon copies of previous bosses at Ganon's Tower. In short, your job was unbelievable.

I was ecpecting a lot more. I have been a Zelda fan for a very long time, and every game got better. But as far as this one goes, I liked Majoras mask and Ocarina of Time better. Don't get me wrong, This game is fun, and amusing, for a while, but there are things that get boring. Sailing is one, and finding those damn triforce peices. The sword attacks are incredible and I like the weapons and the villains. But i was disapointed with the story line. I miss the actual Legend of Zelda and Link, Not some little boy and Tetra. I loved how every starts to wrap together, near the middle the game finally starts to continue on with the plot of the other games. I like the visual effects, but it is definitly not a x-box game. I was quite disapointed because I was so used to x-box, when i got this the graphics are just not the same as x-box, Nintendo, you could have done better in that dipartment. But anyways, im still a fan and im still addicted to this game.

When this game first came out I didn't know what to expect of it. I was thinking about preordering it and stuff but I decided not to. I first played it about three months after it came out. I started playing and found that it was rather addicting to play. Then I played it nearly non-stop for five days until I had finished. The entire adventure is so much fun to play. THe controls are pretty simple and it is really fun to fight hordes of enemies. Once you get all of your Items it get's really really fun to fight hordes of enemies. But with how huge this game was, it was easy for me to play it that much. I mean, come on. They have an entire ocean, islands, huge islands and ships on the water. And the game still goes way beyond that. There are lots of weapons at your disposal as well. The graphics are cel shaded. At first I didn't think I would like this. But after a while I got to liking it. And they are really nice graphics. The game also has good music. What I really like about it is how it is like five differant ganres of games. Action, adventure, rpg, puzzle and platform. These all fit into this game. The one thing I didn't like about it was the lack of stuff that happens once you beat the game. Nothing really happens. You just start over in your normal clothes and with a color picto box. Nothing special.But yes, I strongly reccomend ths game. It Rocks!

i know all Zelda Fans r waiting for this game to come out but this game has poooooor graphics. it should've been better like other gamecube games but its like childesh graphics like a 2-year old says its gay. im not saying not to buy it but in my opaninon i wont but it until u rent it or just wait until some other person buys it tell you it is a great game. I say it has a weird storyline. An elf that has to go though all the trouble to rescue his sister, and who cares about ur sis, no one wants to save ur sis if u have one.

I've read a bunch of reviews and keep hearing all this talk about how much they dislike the cel-shading. I can see your point of view entirely, but aren't you missing the whole point of a video game. Videos games are fundamentally about giving yourself some sort of challenge and becoming immersed within the story, not gawking over amazing graphics and beautiful cutscenes. Just think of how much more game we would get if those graphic loving people just shut their mouths. Instead of filling discs with flashy images, they could be filled with more difficult challanges and story twists. Instead of a 20 hour game, we could play for over 70. But I digress. What I really want to say is, the game is great. It functions almost exactly like Ocarina or Majora so it's pretty easy to do if you've played those. Plus it's part of a legendary tale. You are all required to at least play it once if you are true Zelda fans. Bottom line is, quit your complainng and just play. Is it that hard?

Why do you people keep complaining about the graphics? My sister's had the game for three days and everybody is hooked. I'll admit, I was skeptical when I saw screenshots early on. The graphics may not look like much from screenshots, but when you play the game everything just melts together. It is much, much better than any disney or anime animation by far, and the graphics DO top Ocarina of Time and Majora in some ways, especially the interaction of characters with the environment. On top of that, the controls work incredibly well, the new item system is the best yet, and of course keeping consistant with the Legend of Zelda series, a storyline that is second to none. Bottom line, this is quite possibly the best video game ever made. Anybody who rates this game lower than 9 stars is out of their friekin' mind.

I have to admit that I was skeptical about the cel-shaded graphics and how much it would change the game play but this is an excellent game. I do think i would have like the game more if they had stuck to the look link had at the end of Ocarania of Time, but who am I to argue with one of the greatest gaming companies. Overall the gameplay is similar to that of its nintendo 64 conterpart and if you enjoed that games dungeons and adventures, then you will love this game.

Ive had this game for one weekend and couldnt stop playing. When i first started playing it looked like a little childrens game. Then i kept playing and i got addicted. I would reccomend this to any hardcore gamer there is. But i would have to say this game is pretty even in *goodness* to the other zelda games.

Ok so everyone says the graphics S*** well guess what i dont care it is awsome they go great with the storyline and game. ive had it for a day and already im like halfway through i woke up at 5 am and started playin it. i like how you get to sail around instead of ride a horse though i do miss it. the only aspect i dont like is how they changed the koroki people (the Elves didnt anyone play the n64 game!?) to those little wood freaks. All in all the series is great i've been waitin so long for a zelda game to come out and finally it has and it RULES!

Great Gameplay, Best music ever, Zelda fans would love it, Cell shading to me makes it look more 3D great graphics, Huge world, Keeps lots of old game items, Adds new item, Monsters are awsome!, You own a boat, More great mini games!, You can steal enimies WEAPONS and items!, Awsome game Fun Factor- Tons of fun, you can use the metric system to measure the fun in this game.Sound- Great, original, Graphics- Good, just different. Length- The game will last a while.
