hey i own the game and figured some stuff out in game if you want the batting really easy go to options and batting interface put it on easy then you can swing and actualy hit the ball {note: you still strike out but only about 1 or 2 times a game.} AND TURN OFF GENERATED COUNT TO START OFF 0-0 you can find this all under option when you press start.

It is retarded!!!!!!!!!!!I think it is so dumb! You cant even hit the ball and it just might be ok if you could see the people and what every thing looks like.All Star Baseball 2003 was way better.The graphics on MLB PENNANT RACE for playstation that came out in oh only GOD knows when...in like um 97 or 98! For gods sake Akkliam can you make the graphics on 2005 next time not look like 1997 please !!!!!!!!!!1

A waste of 50 bones. Until I can hit the ball, I will curse this game and want my money back. What, do you have to have perfect finger-eye coordination to hit the damn ball!?! So, don't support Acclaim b/c they must not test their products before public release.

Best baseball game I have played thus far. The graphics are not as good as World Series baseball 2k3, however the in depth Franchise mode and scenario mode, among other things, makes this game number one. It is very challenging in the beginning, but after you play a few innings you can easily get the hang of directing and hitting the ball. The person who wrote in talking about starting out with 1 ball and 2 strikes each time his batter stepped up to the plate is because the game gives you the option of speeding up gameplay by starting out with a generated count. All he had to do was turn off this option and the batter would have started out with a 0-0 count. The stadium tours, old players, player actions (i.e. DP's, diving catches, over the shoulder catches and wall climbs) all add to the excitement of the game. In addition, Derek Jeter and Tommy Lasorda give you helpful hints and tips when you play in Rookie mode. This again is an option you can turn off. I also own World Series Baseball 2K3, but I do not play it as much as All Star Baseball 2004. I am not saying World Series is a bad game, but I find ASB 2004 more challenging. Both games are great, but if you want a realistic game, I would choose ALL Star Baseball 2004.

After renting the game,I have some dislikes about it!! first of all when im playingthe game and I throw the ball at first base, the first base man will miss the ball and it will make me lose the game. Another dislike about it is that sometimes a batter will step up to the plate and already have 2 balls,or 2 strikes. I just rented the game and i am very confused if anyoen could e-mail me with some answers i would love it.

This is the best game i've ever played , the game play is great and if your a good video gamer you shouldnt have trouble hitting the ball. The business side of the game is the realest ive ever saw , honestly , what other game has salary arbitration. It actaully feels like your the owner. keep it up

I Like everything about the game but the graphics should be better because it looks like playstation graphics to me. And why have a batting interface on the game? I think you need to take a look at some other baseball games and take some notes from them and try to improve the batting.

All Star Baseball 2004 was the greatest of the Baseball games now.First I bought the game then I made my own way of cheating.I used all the great pitchers like Randy Johnson, Curt schilling, Rodger Clemens, and other good pitchers.But you get points if you do something amazing in the game like a no hitter or a shutout.But you can play as Babe Ruth and other legends.What I do to win a game is I use the homerun hitters like Barry Bonds.you also can creat people that are A+ in contact, power, speed, and patents up to bat if you get this game I hope you injoy it.

I didn't like how hard it was to bat on this game. I think you should be able to see the pitch before the pitcher pitches it. The graphics were awesome, things were relistic. I think they also need to make it a little easier to create a player, instead of, ok, here's 250 faces in random order, choose one.

All Star Baseball 2004 was good. I don't like the points for the contracts, but the franchise mode was good. I have just finished my 3rd year. You don't get credit if you brake the homerun record though! I am the Texas Rangers and A-rod hit 76 Homeruns and didnt get credit for braking Barry Bonds's record! Overall, i give it a 9.

This game is the best. You can practically do anything, but the game is pretty hard. One problem i have with it is that when you create your own team they have chosen names. otherwise this game is pretty awsome! Ialso like how you play with the old time players it great and the multimedia is awsome too.

The great thing about this game is EVERYTHING. The graphics are great although there are a few glitches such as sometimes when you throw inside gas it looks like it hits the batter dead on the arm but it just goes right through him. The thing I like to most is that when you create a player he can immideatly become an impact on your team. Other things i like,One the ability to save the game right in the middle of an inning I how great is that you eating breakfast "oh time to go to work lets save the game". Two the season is pretty challenging this is the only baseball game that I have lost more than one game in a season. Three, the pitch selection is great. Four, not every player can throw 98 or get down to first in 4-5 it is different.And last but not least it is just an outstanding game I can't wait to see next years version.

I think the overall game is great. The only problems that I minded were the replays were horroble and occasionally a player will make a phantom catch. Franchise mode is good. Every team has a high minor league team and a lower one for replacing injured players. You can also create players with a number of attributes to create. One problem with Franchise is that the contracts are run by points instead of money. The graphics are great. I heard that Akklaim cyber-scanned most players faces. This is the best baseball game of the year. If you like baseball you really should buy it.

This Game Rocks all the way By What i mean is it is so awesome for the gameplay and for the graphics and for the soud it pouts out it is the coolest game ever made for gamecube i think it kick ass with the all-starbaseball 2002 and 2003 combined together i hope you keep this up for next year baseball keep on rocking the games. I thought the overall play was good, not great. Akklatm could have done more work in the area of graphics. I've never understood where akklaim got that point system from. In the ASB rulebook they discuss the monetary value of players, yet you base your players contracts on points!?? Also they need more options in franchise mode. For example: the ability to create new uniforms for your team(even non-created teams), build a new stadium, or even move your team to a another location. If it's part of the game than put it in the game. I rate ASB as one of the best so far, I have yet to play MVP baseball.

I feel that the graphics look like the same as last year and , they could have done a better job with that. The up side is that EA Sports kept their trend going with the points and the baseball. They kinda made that their trendmark. Also they added 2 more stlyes for batting zone and classic.Which is why I only gave this game a 7.
