I'm a total Sonic fan and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Okay, mabye the graphics weren't as good as I expected but it's fine. I liked knuckles the best and his song, that was cool! Big did give me a bore fest but I lived. It was fast pace and lively. Chaos 7 was Sooooooooo awesome! Hard, but what fun is it if it is boring. I did like the begining before the main menu. Wow! The puzzles are little hard but they are fun! The story was amazing. With all the flashbacks it may be puzzling if you are new to Sonic especially all the others. It is cool that they include the story through everybody's eyes. Chaos ( Not the bad guy!) are adorable. If you are having a hard time and want to kick back this is the place to go. If you are planning to buy this, BUY IT! My favorite Action stage is speed highway. It's so fast! I especially like the sub games because they are so much fun. The game even has Mini-Games for playing when I'm bored for a while! It is so cool!

I bought this game the first week it came out and man oh man its good.
Perform easy stylish stunts when going through the action stages like going loop to loop or going round corkscrews e.t.c Very good stuff.
Anyways.... The game is set around the awkening of this evil liquid like creature called "Chaos" Sonic and co's job is to stop this creature from absorbing the Chaos emeralds and becoming the all powerful "Perfect Chaos" On the hole a great plot kinda reminds me of "Janenba" from DBZ movie #12 don't know why but that the feeling i get about it anyway.
There are 7 playable characters (including Supersonic) My personal favourite is Sonic. You must complete each of their scenarios by exploring the three different "Adventure fields" you visit.
Ignoring the bad, outdated cut-scenes and tricky camera angles, oh yes and not frogetting the all pointless "Big the cat" Everything about this game is in the bag, including several unlockable features. Sonic Adventure DX is one of a kind.

When sonic adventure 2 battle came out i got it and became one of my favorite games. I rented this game and a was really disappointed. Compared to SA 2 Battle this game sucked. There was no Shadow and the little movie things were horrible. The game was really, really short and the characters could learn hardly any moves. The graphics were a small improvement. The voices sucked and there mouths moved weird when they talk. All the boses were pathetic and only took three easy hits each. Also, chao became worse too. No chao karate and the races are hard to understand. The final boss was stupid and didnt take any skill to beat. All the ancient sonic games are stupid and there was no point to put them in the game. Having more players was one of the few good parts about the game even though most characters only have maybe 5 short levels. All in all, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle blew this game away.

Sonic Adventure DX is definitly worth getting because your really getting 8 games packed into one disc.You can play Sonic Adventure or you can play every Sonic game that was on Game Gear.The game is pretty easy to beat but you can do missions or try and get every character's A and B emblem.The music in the game is good especially Super Sonic's theme song.Though there is a downside to the game.One is that they don't give you enough time to complete the level in order to get the A emblem for Sonic and Knuckles.Another thing I don't like about the game is you have to complete Chao Races to get 5 of the 130 emblems that are in the game.Also they made Big the cat too slow and Amy alittle slow.Other then that this game is great and good to play for long trips if you have a portable screen for your Gamecube.Sonic Adventure DX is REALLY worht getting.

sonic adventure dx is a great game. the graphics are polished from the last version and look better. the sound is also good, but the adventure field tunes can get very annoying. i think some of the missions on mission mode are just too hard. unfortunately, this game only took me a few days to commplete with everyone including super sonic. but the extra's are still keeping me hooked on the game, and i have had it for about 5 weeks now, and i still have lots to do. it is a very fun game and there are plenty of secrets, so most people will enjoy it for a long time. a bad part about the game is, aswell as some things being too hard, is that it is practically the same as sonic adventure 2 battle only with different characters put in, but the story is well planned. i think you get what you pay for, but some parts of the game are just too hard.

This game is great the Charecters are cool but who is this Big guy? Ok i understand him and such and his purpess but why a big cat well this is my 2nd game first being Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. The Graphics are great just like the last one and i was confused cause i thought they were still in leage. In the last game it gave a clue on who you could be(Amy and Choas)the game rocks just like the Music even though Amy's is so weird. But overall its great. My little Brother was allways a Tails fan but after the game he became a knuckles fan. One of the better things is you can use Tails's tails and you are out of the Plane but into a new one that you use twice. But my only problem was E-101Y's death that was so bad. I would like a few more Bosses on Amy and Big. One final Problem On E-101's Bosses Sub game is only E-101 and E-101MKII

i could wait for this game i mean i was hyped up about sonic adventure 2 but this 1 was going to be ground breaking. to be honest i was a bit dissaponted i mean what happen to chao karate, that was the dogs. the accuall game was cool but a bit short, hell i'm 'avin more trouble on the sonic game gear game than the adventure game. and talk about camara problems. the super sonic level was great thought nothin beats a fast sonic level and that was it.the sound was great apart from the endin music to amy. on the graphics side u can't complain, nice shiny textures. knuckles looks as good as ever he is by far the best character but why can't they make him ave a runnin level like sonic + tails why they stuck to the search thing i don't no. ne way overall good game but could of been better. i think sonic heros might be better than this.

I have been playing the Sonic games like for 6 years now. Sonic games are one of my favorites. I like the Sonic's story. This game is one of the best ever though I never played Sonic Adventure, I wan't to know the story between Sonic and Shadow.
When i was 8 years old I bought a SEGA computer and the first games I wanted to play was Sonic games. The best games on SEGA are Sonic The hedgehog 2, Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic & Knuckless.
I like the music in those games very much. I like the ending in Sonic the Hedgehod 2, very very nice done, also the Sonic DX all endings are great exept Big because I don't know how to go in underground :(( , but all other characters I've finished.
I like the Sonic DX theme song very much. I think it is one of the best soundtracks in games.

The Game is great with the enhanced graphics and all. I beat it like 3 weeks ago. SuperSonic mission is great. I never owned dreamcast so i couldn't play SA1 but now with this game i can. I've never owned a Sega system, but i have always been a sonic fan and tried to go over my freinds houses to play it. 3 things that i hate, 1) SuperSonic isn't like the olden days, collect 7 chaos emeralds, jump twice and your supersonic. 2) Amy isn't all that great to play with. 3) WTF is up with Big. SonicTeam must have been high or out of ideas when they thought of Big. Fishing for a frog ruins classic Sonic sytle man. I'm Glad they took him out of SA2! Overall the game was great, Sonic,Tails And Knuckles were amazing to beat the game with. E-102y waz also good tobeat it with. Overall, i give it a 8/10.

Here is the deal. I've never played the dreamcast version of sonic adventure so i tried it out on gamecube. I found that this game could have been alot better. The camera view was anoying and the music wasnt as good as in adventure 2. But i must tell you super sonic was really funny, I laughed for about half an hour trying to defeat altimate chaos. I didn't like it that much, but i keeep playing with the game because of mission mode. If you get the game rent it, don't buy of you don't have anything to do for about 1 and a half hour. Still i think the sonic team could have done alot better with the camera, music, and adventure field. Overall the overall story was great and the battle with chaos. Well, thats about all I can say see you guys later. (:

I thought this game was pretty cool, but the down side even though some people may think the story takes a while to complete I finished it in less than a day. Still the missions keep you busy as well as the game gear games. The graphics were good, but the mouthing wasn't so good. I don't really judge a game on its graphics especially because I paly Genisis and NES games. The game play was great for any Sonic fan and if you played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle it will be even better to see the first game. I liked this game because you get to paly this game with six characters at first then another short stroy with Super Sonic. I think all great Sonic games should always end with Super Sonic. In all this game is a godd Sonic game for big Sonic fans.

I first got in to Sonic games When Sonic Adventure 2 Battle came out. I of course bought it and fell in love with it immediately. When I heard Sonic DX was going to come out I knew it was going to be an awesome game. I checked it out by renting it for 10 days and it was an o.k game. First of all the cutscenes and camera angles got really annoying really fast. A cutscene practically appeared everytime I beat one measly level. I liked Knuckle's and E102 Gamma's adventures the best. Overall the game had lovely graphics and beautiful sound. The only three things I didn't like about the game was retarded, Big the Cat, the cutscenes, and the camera angles. Other than that Sonic DX was an absolute perfect game.

the music is pretty good but i think that there should be a lot more singing on the action stage music ( like on sonic 2 ) sonic:the sonic stages are really fast and there is more than 1 route that you can follow so its always giving you something different.tails:trying to beat sonic is quite easy, but its good to be able to fly and not be stuck on the ground all the time.
knuckles:great if you dont want to just run through a stage and great fun.
amy: gets your heart beating when the robot is right behind you. tops if you like a mad rush gamma:its nice to shoot from a distance and so on ...
big: the only let down, the controls are kind of slow and fishing is also kind of a snore...zzzzzzzzzzz

This is definetly the best Sonic ever. The scores may not say but it is.
Graphics.8 This is a eight because some of the little background objects that are ugly. It could better if it was given hard work.
Sound.7 Very cheesy noises. Sounds cartoonish but it is acceptable.
Gameplay.10 Obstacles, Ramps, Eggheads, Chaos, lots of stuff.
Lifespan.10 The adventure mode is very short, but thanks to chao and mingames it is everlasting.
Fun Factor.10 The chao make this a entertaining and addictive game. The minigame and sidegames make it the best.
Value.10 Money? Oh, fork over 40 bucks and its yours. It is valuable beacuae it has games within the game that make it worth evrey cent.

I've been a Sonic fan ever since it came out. I was first brought to a sonic doll when I was born, and I played anything Sonic on anything. Sonic rocks! He da bomb!
You know, this game is very fun. Even thought you could get KOd easily with any character, I like it. But, i have a question if you people know. What's Tails Sky Patrol? What does Metal Sonic look like? If I'm right, he should be being operated when you start the first level with Gamma E-102 Y. If I'm right, can you get the other Sonic suit being operated somewhere near the metal sonic thingy? If you people know anything about my questions, please e-mail me. i fell in love with sonic adventure 2 battle so i kept renten it
time and time again then for last christmas my grandma got it for me then months past i hered of this new game known as sonic adventure dx directors cut and i got it for my birth day from my grandma any way i remember doing some reserch on sonic adventure 1 before so i knew it was sonic adventure 1 but just for gamecube
anyway this game is great but big`s storymode could be a bit easyer it`s hard to catch froggy but i can`t wait to get to the
super sonic levels and i know all of ultimate chaos`s move`s so he seens easy but i`ll wait to find out. (ps) sonic adventure dx directors cut rules.

I have been a Sonic fan for 2 or 3 years and i would like to say this is better then the the DC version. I have one question : "Why does Sonic look funny when he talks? his mouth is big, and his eyes move in other directions." I liked this game, and it was one of the best Sonic Games I have ever played!!!!! It it is fun and exciting, and i like Sonic's story the most. But mission mode is kinda hard, and I have a hard time finding the emblems. But Sonic Adventure DX is still better then Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I have this game for about almost 4 or 5 weeks, and i beat it in 3 days. I still haven't found all the emblems though... Sega IS the BEST!!!!!!!!!

This is excactly like the old version, the only difference is the graphics, which are cool. I expected a WHOLE NEW GAME! But it was the same... Atleast they could have changed the levels, or add a new level, or another character, yes I know you can play as metal sonic, BUT YOU HAVE TO GET EVERY SINGLE EMBLEM!!!!!!!! (unless you have action replay, which I have, heh heh heh...)When you get Metal Sonic he is just like Sonic. They have some bugs to fix out with metal sonic... If they put in a character it should have been Tikal! (I mean she is in the game) I wish they put in another character that interacted with the game. But noooooooo...

Another class stunning Sonic game featured for Gamecube, very graphical and very addictive to play. I recongise that some of the levels in this game contain music, sound effects and other kinds of stuff from the past, but what I like about the game is the speed and the way you play! However I do have some thoughts that some of the challenges they setted up in this game are really hard. I mean, how can you complete Emerald Coast in 2 Minutes? Crazy isn't it? In the end, I think it's a wacky game and a great one for speedsters to play, if you have Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and want to know how it all began than this is the game you'll need!

Hmmm...I remember playing Sonic 2 on Sega Genesis...then I went on a Sonic hiatus and missed everything else. This game brought me back. Wow. Even though I was able to beat the game with Tails in like...2 hours...I've still got to play with all the other characters. Now I feel bad I missed the original Sonic Adventure. Never had a dreamcast though, so I guess that explains some things. I absolutely loved this game. So drop whatever you're doing right now and buy the game. Oh yeah, and before I go, I loved that credits music for Tails. Yeah, it's in the game in several places, but I was jammin at the end. Peace out.
