Blows GTA Vice City out of the water |
| Don from Chicago, IL says (7/Nov/2003): |
Graphics are amazing, driving is more realistic than GTA and you can shot forward while drving. Fight scenes are great and and difficult. Shoot outs are really fun especially with the zoom in option that slows it down for about 3 seconds. I would recommand the game to anyone since you can play it for hours either doing the missions or fighting crime that the dispatcher tells you about.

This game is very cool don't get me wrong, but it is not what I tought it would be. |
| Eric from WinstonSalem, NorthCarolina says (6/Nov/2003): |
True Crime Streets is great! But it is no gta, for instance when you get out of a cop car the lights don't stay on, also there are many gliches when driving- like the game wants to freez. And another thing is you can get stuck in parking lots and have to reset the game. The last bad thing is you can not turn on tow trucks lights or any thig else for that matter. But Thowes are only minor things all in all it's stell very fun to play.Lots to do,and phat cars.I hope if they come out with another game they read the reviews first!

Xbox's best |
| Chris from PA, USA says (5/Nov/2003): |
Get hooked on this game. The game follows a sort of RPG/GTA type of game play. Graphics in this game kill vs GTA's, but the driving is a down fall compared to GTA's. When walking down the street you may get a call to stop a street fight, which can turn into a deadly. Follow a story line while taking breaks to take a drive. Simple the best

Review of True Crime: Streets of LA |
| The-Iron-Man from South Wales says (3/Nov/2003): |
True Crime: Streets of LA is a game Developed by LUXOFLUX and Published by ACTIVISION and should be out Friday 7th of November.
You play Nick Kang a cop who is fired because of unnessasary force, soon after he joins the EOD. This game is jammed packed full of action, containing 250 missions. Many people will say it's Vice City, the only difference is the location and your a cop but their wrong.True Crime is very different, you can go into bullet time ( slow mo )and you can be holding a six shooter in one hand and a AK-47 in the other. That's not it, in Vice City all you do is a simple punch and kick but in True Crime you can do all sorts of Kung-Fu moves. Instead of money you have cop points which you earn from missions or loose from killing inocents and dammaging property, With these cop points you by fighting moves from the DoJo and cars .ect. The graphics are great, when you crash into cars and make dents and when your fighting it's excellent, the sound is amazing to. Like Vice City it has it's humour suvh as: when you take someones car Nick Kang will say to th owner in a sarchastic way ''I'm EOD Duh'' and many witty quotes like that. If your into Heavy Metal your won't like the music it's rap, i love metal but the music is'nt bad it's on constant so you can hear it everywhrere. If you fail a sub-mission you will get a chance to do it a\gain later in the game. The lifespan of the game is huge, manu maissions to complete and the map is huge, i personally won't know my way around so that will keep you busy. It's of great value for the lenght and you will have so much fun on this game. ENJOY!
