I found nba live 2004 to be an excellent game, however, the graphics are a little shaky. I dunno if ea sports focuses more on madden or whatever, but compared to the graphics of madden nba live is definately not as good. The music in the game was terrible, it was all rap!! c'mon add a little alternative or something, not everyone in this world likes rap. the game play is excellent! i like the freestyle effect for dribbling and what not. it really gives the game a little spice and makes it that much better. the game did have many enjoyable and helpful features. i especially like the tutorial modes. for those who are new to the game it does really help u to figure out how to use most of the features. the store feature is quite nice as well, but u dont get enough points to buy things so maybe that could be improved upon. dynasty mode is excellent, i just dont like that u can lose stat points when u do training sessions, ur supposed to get better not worse. and the last thing i have to say is, ALL STAR WEEKEND. the slam dunk contest and the 3point shootout are what make allstar weekend fun, so in 2005 they should add that, improve upon the graphics a bit, and add better music, and the game will be excellent

I think nba live 2004 is better than the past nba live games.I agree with alot of the people who say the graphics look like mud,but i think there ok graphics.I also think they should make the graphics like nba 2k3 and they should have the dunk contest in 2005 and also the 3 point shootout and rookie and sophmore game.I give this game a 8 out of 10 because its cool and fun to play but it could use alot of improvements.Go suns!

live is the best game ever. but you shouldn't have to turn around on fast breaks to catch the ball and during all-star weekend you should have the rookie vs sophmore game in there individual jerseys along with the 3point and dunk contest and the dunks should be free style. i also think you should be able to throw the ball off the backboard in CERTAIN situations.

they could have had create a team mode like in madden and also be able to ge a technical foul when the hit the back bourd when they dunk the ball. Also maybe more comantaring, dunk contest and 3 points contest.And better fastbreaks. in 2004 was way beetr than 2003.

NBA live 2004 is a ok game. The graphics is terrible, the players look like mud,(espn's graphics is 100% better),and there should be historic teams. U should be able to create a team too. The gameplay is good though. and i like the nba store feature where u buy shoes jerseys and gear. But It's too much in the store u shuold get alot more points from winning a game. What was the hall of fame on the game for? i don't see EA Sports having a reason for it. The players look like mud. why can't nba live be as good a game as madden. The players look like mud. Madden has good graphics, historic teams and U can create teams. It should be a All-Star weekend too, like the real NBA. It should have a 3-Point Shootout and a Dunk Contest. The players look like mud. The music is good. it's fun to play, but U have to play with a far away camera view because the players look like mud. Live 2005 Should improve the muddy graphics, and have old and created teams, and the NBA All-Star weekend.

i think da game is good,better than nba live 2003 but some playaz are all messed up,for ex. larry hughes's hair style-in da game he wears corn rows,and for real his bald.same $#< remove me > at ! last year.he weared corn rows 2 years ago.in the game in dinasty mode if you spend money on team training the players %drops.

everything you could think of has gotten better in live dunks,shooting,season,and create a player. If you want to buy a game by live 2004 because it is better than espn game. live is the real s***. The music is great on there because they play the hotest songs like chingy,jd, and some other big names that i forgot but that doesn't matter just go out and buy live that's all i have to say

I like the game but there should be like ESPN style in it and one more,,, there should be a slam dunk contest and a 3-point shootout.
You should have a better graphics on the game because the faces are bad.But I like the commentators and the arenas but like I said it should have a ESPN Style of gameplay.

Live 04 is strait, its just that there are a few glitches like the ice skating effect when you dribble the ball sometimes. I like how i has the rappers and s**t and i like how u can buy shoes. But u can only put da damn shoes on created players.
Other than that the game is tight.

I hope on NBA Live 2005 you can play with year teams like on Madden 2004. I don't know why no NBA game has done this yet, I would love to see "95" Chicago Bulls playing "00" LA Lakers.
( Also, you should be able to create a team w/o doing a dynasty.)
Dunk Contests & 3pt Shootouts wouldn't hurt.

the game is sick. i think though (and i been waitin for the longest) when u create a player, that persons name should be said over the pa system and not there number. every live game i hope that changes but it didnt in this case. besides that....ummm.. the game seems good to me. no juke button, its all freestyle this time around baby. love it though

I think it all right but it needs a little more graphics because they do look like the players but their eyes are not real.For example George thats on the Lakers eyes are brown not black matter of fact all the players eyes are black. In Madden 2003 they make players eyes all different colors thats what made them like real but if you haven't played Madden 2003 or have it you should go to replay and go close up on them. On Madden 2004 they don't do it either and I was mad because I expect more out of Madden. Thank you for reading my opinion.
