Grand Theft Auto meets The Simpson's |

Imagine Grand Theft Auto 3, take out the blood, hand held weapons, and the hookers, and put in The Simpson's skins and dialogue, and you have The Simpson's: Hit and Run. Its way cool man.
The single player missions are very well done. Though I find the multi player races are a waste and actually something of an insult to the rest of the game.

The Simsons hit and run was the best game this year. At the beging i herd homer say I AM EVIL HOMER I AM EVIL HOMER. I only got to Apu but i think i can beat that one. If you go in your back yard there are 2 buzz cola boxes and 1 bee thingy.

i think this game kicks butt. i am addicted to simpsons so much i had to buy it. i love the gags and what the characters say. i've been fighting with my friend for along time about the graphics. i say they ROCK but he says they STINK. the cheats are awsome and so are the bounus stuff.i've got two words for this game:
"BUY IT"

Looking back to the day when it was 8 to 16 bits and systems were just starting to develop, I was able to come across something amazing. The Simpsons have always been here,and their track record hasn't been pretty well. Almost all Simpson games have had a degree of suckiness in them. Then we got Simpson's Hit and Run. This is the first Simpsons game I've played that has a deep almost RPG like Story. It takes them to the bowels of Springfield where we find all of the Simpson's family. This game has its own original script that has never been shown anywhere else. This game is based on Grand Theft Auto (loosly) and in this you can buy famous Simpson cars and clothes by collecting coins that you find around Springfield. You can play as Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Apu each with there own thurough (or deep and long) level. You do measly tasks and eventually acomplish what you sent out to do. The graphics have shapened up to a beautiful polished 3-D charecter. The sound and controls are both extremly good and they barely repeat things unless they flow together. Now no game is without it's flaws and Hit and Run is no exception. Sometimes the missions are repetitive and boring and some of the jokes aren't funny, and they stole some lines from Road Rage that we are trying to get out of are head. But this game is mostly what you want a Simpsons game to be: fun and challenging. I think finally after waiting so long for a decent simpsons game, after sitting through Simpsons Wrestling,Skateboarding, and Road Rage (no offense to it, I reviewed it for PS2) we finally get to see Homer in all his glory and power he's deserved since the beginning of the gaming universe. All hail King Homer!!!

The Simpsons Hit and Run is a right kick up the behind. It's great fun doing missions and junk, but the funnest thing is just running people over and hitting them. There is a wide selection of vehicles and costumes and you get to play as all the Simpson Family except maggie and Apu.

this is a great game but there a few things i hate. there are some lvls that are too hard and may take time and others that are just so easy its not even worth the time doing it. The game looks great and the gameplay is sweet. i just dont like how you have to by your car wen you destroy it. wat are cars other than things you have fun with. now vice city is the best crash and steel game but simpsons brings it home with the story and the gameplay.

It is the Simpsons so I had to rent it, but I was dissapointed in it. The game is so easy that I beat it in 3 days, and it has no replay value. They could have also worked on the jokes, because a lot of them were just random crap. This game however is a must rent for the die hard Simpsons fan.
