The game is awesome if you're really into Harry Potter. | | Judy from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA says (19/Nov/2003): | I was a little skeptical about the game at first, but when I saw the trailer, I knew it was gonna be great. I bought the game and haven't been able to put it down, unless if I have to go somewhere. It's a really awesome game, I'm happy on how they portrayed Quidditch and added all those special moves and stuff. I think everone should try it out.

HP Quidditch World Cup is as good as one can expect for now. The elevation is pretty much automatic as is field direction. The main play style of a tournament is from the chaser's point of view almost like a basketball game, passing between the three chasers. The beaters send the bludgers at opponents like guided missles. after points are scored, the snitch is sighted and the seeker follows a trail behind the snitch until he/she gets close enough to catch it. the only part I think is a bit over done is some of the stunts the players do. Catching a snitch usually shows the player standing on the broom handle and leaping to catch it, and sometimes after scoring a goal, the chaser leaps to the broom handle, does a back flip grabbing the handle and jumping back into place. a bit overdone there, but otherwise a wonderfull start to what i hope becomes a line of fully 3D quidditch games.
