The Best Pokemon Game I Have Played |

Unlike all other pokemon games in which your goal is to become the "pokemon master," this game actually has a decent plot. A major improvement in this game was how it jumps straight to the exiting parts. In the other pokemon games, I spent all of my time trying to get my loser low level pokemon to a decent fighting level while constantly running away from the wild pokemon who do nothing but annoy you.
In this game, your cool pokemon (Umbreon and Espeon) start out at level 30 with decent moves, and there are no wild pokemon to be annoyed by. Also, instead of having to walk everywhere, you get to ride in a cool vehicle. But the best part of this game is that you don't have to go through "Route 32" to get somewhere, you simply pick a town you want to go to, and you're there.
The overall graphics of the game are really good, though the animation isn't exactly perfect. Some of the moves look a little jumpy and it doesn't look very smooth. Also, your character is moving faster than his legs show. It will look like he's running, yet someone behind is pushing him along at a very quick rate.
The length of the game is decent, yet don't be surprised when you suddenly reach the final boss, (he's in Realgam Tower) Also, if you're planning on capturing all of the pokemon in all of the pokemon games, stop reading now, don't buy the game, and forget this game exists. There are 51 pokemon, and you must go through a lengthy process known as purifying to use any of them. You must purify the pokemon because there hearts have been infused by evil by Team Snagem. You must steal (yes, steal) all of these pokemon and "make them all happy" before you can use them. (personally, I like them better when they're evil.)
This game is noticeabaly more fun than any other pokemon game and is well worth your 50 bucks.

Pokemon colosseum, the newest chapter in the Pokemon legacy, this latest installment brings together aspects, of the other games from the actual Pokemon which range from red to ruby , to the fighting style including the two on two fighting system introduced in Pokemon ruby and sapphire. As many things are different as they are the same, keeping with tradition the Pokemon still have the ability to evolve through gathering experience points, gone however is the ability to catch Pokemon in the wild (which is a huge downside to me) the only way to obtain Pokemon is to snag the shadow Pokemon, shadow Pokemon will be depicted by the black aura that surrounds them, and once they are snagged you must purify them that is you have to cleanse them of the dark aura, the catch here is that until you have purified the enough they have one move, shadow rush. These two points are to me the worst parts of the game, one small consolation is that you can obtain items called time flutes which can fully purify a Pokemon with the help of celebi. In short you explore, fight snag, purify, and the sums up the objective of the game. As for other aspects of the game, the animation brings you a whole respect for Pokemon universe. Finally we get to hear all new music in the game, and of course they held on to the classics. In addition to the all of the fore-mentioned features, Pokemon colosseum is compatible with both ruby and sapphire so you can load your Pokemon from those games to colosseum, it is also rumored that leaf green and fire red will also allow you to exchange Pokemon. All in all I must say that I am impressed. most aspects are awesome but to touch on a subject that I have already mentioned, one thing would make this game better, that is the ability to catch wild Pokemon, oh well, maybe next time.

this game is good, I like seeing some of my favourite pokemon in 3D, but at the same time they could have spent more time to make them look more realistic (especially the shadows, they're crappy)and they also could have made more physical contact(e.g. when a pokemon uses bite, it would actually run over and bite the opponent, not send pink teeth over) instead of the retarted coloured air attacks that float over (maybe they'll do that for another pokemon game) they could have made the characters talk instead of the all to familiar typed words that have been in every other pokemon game. Another thing there's, only 4 cities....whats that!!! did they run out of time?? all of the gameboy games have like 10 cities.(i dont include pokemon lab, snagem hideout and realgam tower as a city). I do like the concept of having a sidekick, but shes just annoying.... I think it would be more interesting if the hero could talk to her at any time, but, if you try to click A when looking at her, she doesnt say anything. Just little things like that would make the game that much better. One last thing.... I use to get so annoyed with how long it takes to get from one city to another in the pkmn gameboy games, but this game made me miss that. I actually liked exploring the land between two cities, but in colosseum the hero just rides over to the next one on his bike. Wheres the sense of adventure in that??
Overall, I give this game a 7 out of 10. although it may seem like all I have to say is negative i did enjoy playing this game, and im looking forward to the next one (Im just assuming there will be another, and hopefully that one will have everything this one lacked).

Pokemon colosseum is the first 3-D pokemon game made for a non-handheld game system. It has new faces and it takes place in the Ore region.You have to stop a new sinister orinization that is making pokemon evil and mad you have to stop them by catching the dark pokemon and restoring balance to the pokemon world .You get to meet newpeople never seen before in the pokemon show or games. This newly developed game has changed the way people think about pokemon games geting even closer to the pokemon universe.Also you can can conect your pokemon ruby or sapphire to your gameboy advance and help yor self out like that. you need a cord that lets you conect your gameboy advance to your game cube.Note you can only use your Ruby or sapphire version on this game,sucks dousn't it.People have all ready pre-order the game and the bike you get looks like a mortercycle whith no coverings but its fast and there is this weird chick folowing you alot? And the graphics are prity good and the game is said be a lot longer than Ruby or Sapphire and the pokemon you are realy cool and its up to 4-player its a action/adventure game the fisrt pokemon game and it won't be the last i'm asureing you the date it comes out is 3/22/04

the graphics rock especially the attacks there is some great music unlike the other games and a few of the battles kick ass but like all good games it has some poor points for example your partner is annoying and keeps on holding you up cau's she gets lost or stuck but and what is mirror b's obsession with that appealing music but at least you can keep coming back to it to train pokemon from ruby sapphire and soon leaf green and fire red the fact that you sng the pokemon and don’t spend months looking for things rocks and it fun looking at your opponents reaction when you beat them but best of all it works as a stand alone game or as part of a series. Seth is far cooler than any of the previous hero’s albeit I have a feeling that he never intended to end up saving all 48 of the pokemon and if he new what he would get into he would never have saved that girl. And that really is a poor ending having to fight someone who appears to be you and that really is overused these days but overall it is a great game and I won’t believe what some say about it.

This game has a few flaws but over all it's pretty good if you wait a while on the title screen you can see how gorgeus the graphics are. The story is difficult but it has loads of hours to play. Your goal is to capture all the shadow PKMN and heal them is you do this to all of them you battle a level 70 Ho-oh. The music and sound is awesome it sounds like it was on a DVD player! You start out with two PKMN an Umbreon (Dark) and an Espeon (Psycic), The first shadow PKMN you'll come across is a Makuhita (Fighting). Then the area in the city you are in will be sealed off by Mystery troop each of them hold a differant shadow PKMN Rosso holds Quilava, Bluno holds Croconaw, and Verde holds Bayleef, You only choose one but you will come across them again. When you reach Mt. Battle you'll come to an Entei (2nd Fire Legendary) Who is held by Dakim at level 40. When you eventually reach the Under you'll find Venus she holds a level 40 Suicune, the two last rare pokemon you see are Raikou (held by Ein) and Ho-oh Who you see at the top of Mt. Battle.

I've played Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, and I thought it was pretty descent... that was before I played Pokemon Colosseum! The first time I saw the commercial, I was like "Whoa- I need to get that game!" When I finally did, I almost died out of excitement and satisfaction! The graphics are 10 times better than the ones in Pokemon Stadium 1/2, and the angles and screen shots are even better. The creators of this game made the attacks look simply astonishing- I especially love watching Suicune use Aurora Beam, but when I saw Shadow Ball, I was a bit disappointed. I expected Shadow Ball to look even more better than the ones in past Pokemon games, but I guess it went down a notch or two... another comment I have is that they should try to put some real voices in the game to make it more realistic. That would improve the game so much. Furthermore, the music during battles are fantastic! The type of music depends on who you're battling at the moment. I can't wait for the sequel of Pokemon Colosseum.

Everything about the game is great,except it doesn't let you take out pokemon (like UMBREON) and control the pokemon,'n like use hyper beam on the wall.this game is different from Ruby,Saphire,Red,Yello,Blue,because u don't have a special opponent u run into.Also,the girl u rescue said if she could tag along for ~a little while~..............I'VE BEATEN THE GAME 4 TIMES AND SHE HASN'T GONE AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And,there's like nothing to do at snagem hideout.One more thing....... Tyranitar is not the ultamite pokemon.....LUGIA IS!
Another thing why this is different from ever other version,it shows the backround in battles.I think one thing should change about the player not being able to capture CELIBI.Otherwise i wouldn't have wasted my master ball on tyranitar.Great Graphics,Strong pokemon to start out with,and new pokemon that aren't even from Ruby Or Saphire.

I have only just played pokemon colosseum and i love it i actually can not stop playin it. to battle pokemon in 3d that was great. but instead of the computer controllin the motor bike i wanted to control it my self because it moves sooooo fast it was as if raiku was running down a hill.one of the best thing about this game is odenary people have legendary pokemon. who would av believe that the mayor would be the evel one, come to think about it, it was kind of obvious after tht man walk out of his house at the bigining of the adventure and can someone please tell me how to catch celbi please email me and one thing that i dont like about this game is the life span i expected it to go futher thant the tower colossium the boss was so easy to beat but over all i gave this game with is excellent grapics, sound and the way the charactors look athumbs up.

I've bought this game on 14th May and yet I've still not been able to put it down now at present I'm pumping up my squad to to it out on colosseum
battle mode and later when I get some cash I'll snag pokemon fire red
(US version as I'm not gonna wait for ages to over here which'll be 2020 lol) Psseeh I'm so stick of us UK's left behind sigh..
Back to the game... I think the graphics are good and the pokemon look swayed (cool) in 3D and the story is cooler and gripping as it's more darker and battle mode option is dead tough!
Now if I was the design there are 3 things I would do to improve it...
1. More Cut scenes
2. Human cast should have voices
3. secert pokemon such as mew, celabi, and deoxys should be unlockable.
Any ways This game is a classic for any die-hard pokemon fan ^-^
Roll on the sequel! ^-^

hi im just saying i think pokemon colesseum is one of the best games for gamecube it has exellent graphics cool music and some really hard battles i just want to have some help with a certain person his name is gonzap and he is the boss of team snagem and you encounter him in reaglam tower i just want to know if anyone knows how to defeat him my strongest pokemon umbreon lv 57 and meganium lv 52 all others are in their 30s and 40s i really need some help ive tried 3 times but cant defeat him. please send me some cheats or help for the subject or maybe just cheats for the game please help me i am in desprate need to defeat this game please dont let me down i am in sooooo sooooooooo sooooooooo desprate need. thanx if you can help me.

The whole bad guys ganging up was pretty cool ,but they could've put serious characters 4 people who don't know where the GEAR is it's in the constrution lot.But also you want 2 battle every trainer you see because near the end of the game the people have pokemon that are over lv60 so buy potions and stuff like that,TOO!I have an action replay for the nintendo game cube and I got iffenit master ballsand time flutes and some other codes so its wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy easier 4 me but I rented it before I got an action reply and beat it so I missed a cupple stuff when I rented it before and belive me some of this made me have troble with the game.But buy them action replays their real usefull and 4 other games too!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked this game. The graphics are good, and the sounds are great, although I do think that the characters in it should have a voice to make it a bit more reallistic. The attacks given by the pokemon are really effective, and look much better than Pokemon Stadium for the Nintendo 64, or the Pokemon games for the Gameboy. Although the gameplay is good, I think there should be a way to find out how much your Pokemon like you, so you will know if Return would be a good move to teach your pokemon. The aura's around the Shadow Pokemon are great, although if you have just got the game and got shadow pokemon it is rather tricky to purify them, as I am only up to that stage where you have to find the Plusle.

I think this is one of the best games ever. But like any game it is not perfect. I really don't mind how when people talk it is nothing but type. Of course the game would be alot better if the characters did talk. I also think you shouldn't have to unlock trading with ruby and sapphire and you should be able to catch all 300 pokemon in it. I also think that you should be able to drive the hover car and you should be able to talk to your side kick. But what I'm really getting at is it is an exellent game but alot of things could be made better like you should be able to have a pokemon follow you around. But thats just me. Well Danny you have to go to the left side of the cage and press A and Silva the spy that they captured will give you an R-disk use it on the UFO. But first deal with the two Ciphers that captured Silva. Then go to the pokemon center using the F-disk you got from Dakim on the UFO then use the R-disk on the UFO to fight Venus and snatch her rare and legendary pokemon Suicune. Oh and don't forget to get the three rare candies at the bottom of the room. After you beat Venus you must chase down to the Subway train and snatch the four shadow pokemon on the way. If you kill them then you won't have another chance to capture them again until you unlock the Snagem Hideout and beat the game.

I love this game, graphics are awesome storyline is decent a little to short but decent. my only few regrets are the graphics could've been enhanced a little bit and the partner, annoying when all she does is let you know about a shadow Pkm'n.the only other great thing about this game is the music one of a kind except just a little repeettive .the other annoying factor is tha some of the Attacks look a little laking in looks ( fly should show Pkm'n flying not an explosion after the attack) adventurer bamers don't buy this it is not as long or as detailed as any of the Zelda games. Over all a must buy for all Poke fans this game deserves a ten out of ten for all of these resons

I found this game really easy to beat.the Thing that really buged
is that when you dont catch a shadow and you kill It on accadent
their no way to go back and catch it you. You can die to go back and catch it but thats dumb if they eccpect you to catch all the shadow they should have done something about that.however this game has really good graphics you can see the pokemons move and how it really looks unlike ruby and saphfire where the pokemon doesn't move .(Stealing) pokemon to make them good is the best
part to bad you can only steal shadow pokemon

To get celbi you need a game boy advanced, a link cable for the game cube, a bonus disk, and pokemon saphire.I reserved a copy of pokemon colosseum at TOYSRUS and got the disk take the gameboy advanced and put bonus disk in and it will have some options one says (get celbi). now go to it and it will send celbi to your game boy advanced. after you beat realgem tower go to phenc city. Go to the pokemon center and go down stairs (the stairs are at the top left of the pokemon center). link up your game boy advanced and talk to the woman. she will say this is the trade center and you can trade between saphire. tarde celbi for a weak pokemon and vwala!! you have celbi!!!

Hi Alex, I read your review and I want to help. Gonzap's pokemon are Shiftry level 53, Crawdaunt level 52, Pinsir level 52, Hariyama level 53, and the Shadow Skarmory level 47. I recommend that you purify, evolve, and raise your pokemon somewhere in the 50's and 60's (the mayor of Phenac City, Cipher's boss, has pokemon on levl 61, 60, and the strongest shadow Pokemon Tyranitar level 55 so use the Master Ball Eagun gives you after his e-mail). If you think Gonzap will only be fought once, you can fight him again, but the 2nd time does not count and you can lose on purpose and he will not be there. All of his Pokemon will be on level 84.

Ive played this game and completed it and ive gotta its cool but...... they could of put more effot in to it but anywho I can help anyone who needs help as proof here are my pokemon levels Blazeikein LV100 Jirachi LV48 Tryanitar LV72 Groduan LV71 Kryogue LV68 Espeon LV78 Also if you want to know how to get Jirachi its as easy as breathing. First you need Pokemon channel, ruby or shapphire and a link cable. start by completing Pokemon channel and then you will unlock specail gift Jirchi click on it you will see a short cut scence with Jirachi wanting to play thats when you use the link cable to trade Jirchi (for free) on to Ruby or Shapphire.
