I thought it was great, it was the first game I brought for my Gamecube, I know two people who have it on PS2 but the Gamecube Graphics are much better. I find hitting traffic I can see from ages away and how long it takes to get back into the race, you crash and then if your first you go down to last. I found a load of cheats for it which I am going to try out later on as I am stuck on unlocking other tracks so hopefully they will work.

I think this game is the best racing game ever to exist. The graphics are good and im glad i bourght the game. But i dont like the fact that theres not that many races but overall i think the game is excellent and i give the game ten stars

Myself I love this game but it can be stressfull especialally when I hit traffic but the graphics and music are superb deffinetally worth buying if you are a fan of fast and nice looking cars with nitrous and vinys. If youve seen the fast and the furuios you will adure this game.

I liked need for speed underground but as was said from other people there are no cops and the only damage that happens to your car in a cracked window shield. But i liked how there were many wide ranges of parts you could put on your car. The multiplayer in the game was was really good to but the only thing i didnt like was that it was only u and your friend racing and that there were no computer racers to face.

I have played all three NFS games, but this one had to be the best. It has got AMAZING graphics, even more realistic than the previous games. You might wanna go slow at it at first, though, if you have been playing NFS2 for a while. Overall I say this game is one of the SWEETEST games I've ever played on the GC.

NFS UNDERGROUND is a good game its very frustrating though. especially on PS2 because the controls are $#< remove me > at ! but has the best graphics on a console. I'm trying to work out how to unlock the nova, do you have to complete the game on hard to get it? overall its an average game the only good thing about it really is NOS. NFS UNDERGROUND is the first game to have this! I can't believe i wasted $99 on this i should have just rented it.

This game is an amazing achivement in racing games I have never seen better graphics, gameplay, replay value, sound fx, music, and realism. I loved this game mainly because the farther you get the more fun and exciting it gets. That fact you can upgrade your car in more than 50 ways is great. Their is almost unlimited ways to make your car look cool. With vinyal, spoilers, rims, headlights, tail lights, roof scoops, bumpers, color shifting and metallic pait, and a whole lot more. The story mode is very dep and makes you feel like your in the car driving for cash. The jump cam is really neat feature whean you go off a raised draw bride at high speed the camera goes inront of your car about 30 feet away and slows down then goes to normal whean you hit the ground. The music is the best ive seen in any game most of them are all real songs you can buy from Rob Zombie and what have you. The one thing about this is that the crashes suck nothing happens to your car even if you slam into a wall at 200 miles an hour. But other wise it is an amazing and fun game!

The only thing this game has going for it is the custom car option. The graphics are really poor and tend to blurr in a high speed race,and the lack of police chases in an "Underground" race game is something that should be changed. Without the option for damage and the choice to go back to races you have already run, just to help build points the game seems to lack what the other NFS games had.All you can do is keep going forward,so there is not much else to do if you get stuck on a track or race that gives you a hard time.I bought this game for my son`s GameCube, so I think younger kids mike like it just fine, but I have X-Box and PGR 2 and NFS doesn`t even come close. I hope they do a better job on the next one, the NFS series of games were great but this one really falls short. The lack of "Super Cars" is also something that is missing, seems like it`s an entirely different game with theNFS name on it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,better luck next time.

I had a lot of fun playing this game and it is definitly addictive but I noticed a few things that should have been changed. like when you race its always a notice a race is going on but you have no choice but to race if you try and try to win untill you face is red you can't decline the race this basically ends the game because all it takes to lose is have one mistake like hit the wall once you'll be passed. So if you can get around that its still a good game

This game has to be the best racing game that I have ever played. You can do so much to ur car. If you have seen fast and the furious then you will kno what u can do to your car. Just play the game and you will see how great it is.

I recently purchased this game at Gamestop from a reservation about a month ago. i've lpayed all the Need for Speed games that exist out there, but Underground is the second best. Some people may be surprised at this thought, but it's true. Even though you get to customize the many cars in this game, the graphics aren't as good as the best Need for Speed, Hot Pursuit 2. Hot Pursuit 2 has the best graphics (out of the platforms PS2 owns the best graphics), there are more cars, and for you "underground gamers" (people who mostly use cheats to play their video games), Hot Pursuit 2 has really good cheats. Also, you have many, many more options on Hot Pursuit 2. Such as weather change, police cars, racing licensed stock cars, and more racing modes. Need for Speed: Underground, lets you race only at night. Underground doesn't even have any cops or as good graphics. UNderground has a huge selection of licensed parts to tune up your car. There are some short sequences in the game, those give it a little more vibe to it. Underground gamers out there, if you only like games that have good cheats, don't be looking forward to this game, PC is the only one that has good cheats, but only for cars and upgrades and that's it. Underground has some new feature too, including drift modes and drag modes. Drift Mode is when you are on a short track slidin' around like a yuppee rackin' up points, while the best part of the game, drag racing, is awesome. The drag racing mode is, if not, the most intense part of the game. THis mode is the most savage and fastest part of the game. It's great to use NOS (nitrogen oxide) in this race. yOu can only top out about 210 mph in this game, while in HP2 has the McLaren F1 that goes about 240. Anyway overall, I would give this game 2 thumbs up. The game play is pretty extensive, and the cost of the game is average (about 50 bucks). I enjoyed this game, and you should too.

I'd say this is a must buy,or rent game this year. If your looking for the next big hit in the Need For Speed series its defently Underground. If you want to play the game to its full extent, use one of the many steering wheels available to you today.

This is one of those games that will keep u isolated from your family and friends. I love this game, not just cause the blinding speed makes my eyes water, but because of everything that this game has to offer. Drag racing has never been so much fun, from timing your shifts to dodging traffic. Even online mode is great. With 4 cars on the street you'll be serving it up nicely. Or havin it served to you(if you're a beginner).
My advice if you love racing games check this bad boy out. You'll be glad you did.
