Oh my gosh!!!!I LOVE this game!! I first saw it at BlockBuster and I wanted to try it cause it had a horse on the back (I am a TOTAL horse freak) so i rented it. It was only 3 days though! I played it NON stop! REALLY! I loved it SO much! So I rented it again! My mom got tired of renting it SO many times she bought it for me!!! I LOVE IT!! First Off the Graphics ROCK!! Also there is SO much to do!If you havent played this game you would probally think WHY is watering plants and feeding animals would be SO intersting! Well theres WAY more to it! You can get married (have special sceens with each girl i might add) have a kid in which YOU infulence how to grow up and what they will do and what they are intersted in! You can make friends and have special sceens with them too! You can do SO much! And people actually age and die to. Its SO real! Well I HOPE you will go out and TRY this game!! Its GREAT! But there should be a warining on the box 'WARNING: This game causes GREAT addiction'
I LOVE this game and Im TOTALLy hooked! If you try it you probally will be too. Its AMAZING how much time it sucks out of you! Well I hope you try it and if you have i am SURE you LOVE it as much as I do! Only one more thing to say 'HAPPY PLAYING!'

This isn't just the best game cube game i have ever played, this is by far the best game i have ever played. I loved this game, because all the animals are so cute, the graphics are so real, and my satisfaction is filled. The animals look real, but in a cute, sweet kind of way. The graphics are great. No, they're perfect, no perfect is an understatement. The weather is so real, the rain, the snow, the sun, even the sunsets were great!!! The timing is perfect. The days aren't too long where I am waiting for the day to be over. The days aren't too short, either, where you are ripping your hair out because someone comes to buy your crops in about 5 minutes, and you are across town having a drink at the bar when you remember. This game is like the real country life, where you can slow down and relax. This game is also so unique!! Who would think that waiting for an egg to hatch or watering your plants in a game could be so interesting!!?? This game is just so fun! After I started playing this game for the first time one afternoon, I was playing till 2 in the morning, when i realized it was a school night!! Sleep is my favorite part of my day, and I woke up at 3:30 i the morning, just so that i could play before i had to go to school!! This game is also perfect for all ages! I'm 13, and I'm hooked to this game. My mom loves the sceneries in this game when she plays, my dad likes selling things to get money, and even my 2-year-old brother likes to ride the horse around and watches me play!!
To finish this off, all i have to say is that if i were left on a deserted island by myself, and i could only pick one thing to bring with me, i would bring my tv, game cube, and harvest moon: a wonderful life. (pretend that that is all one thing).

This game is AWESOME! I got hooked the day I got it! The graphics are SO much better than Harvest Moon 64, and the fun factor is awesome! My mom told me to get away from the game, cause I was playing it too much! I'm on the Summer of Yr.2, have a baby son named Joey, and I'm married to Celia! Hint: Pick HER to marry..she's awesome!! I've been playing the game for about 4 days, and I'm already really far. If I had to pick between ALL the Harvest Moon games, THIS game would be the best! I CAN'T WAIT for the Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life For Girl to come out! This winter! Yay!!

My friend showed me this game, and I was instantly hooked! I'm a girl, but even though some people might think it's dumb/boring, they couldn't be further from the truth! Okay, so here are a few tips:
~Do NOT propose to Nami unless you know for sure she has four hearts; otherwise she'll hate you for a while.
~All you have to do to get Golden Wool is love on your sheep once in a while, and make sure you wash it before you shear it.
~To get other options for cooking, you need to cook a lot. Eventually, you'll get hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and entrees.
~You can, in the 2nd year, see Nina's ghost if you go to her grave at about six-thirty in the morning. Talk to Galen and he will ask you if you want to wash Nina's gravestone. Say yes, and when you're done, the ghost shall appear!
~To get the talking plant, you must be friends with Takakura. Enter his house in the second year from about 5:00 to 10:00 in the morning, or whenever you know Takakura's in. You should get the talking plant then.
~You can get your son in trouble by bringing him off the farm before his bedtime(9:00) and not getting him back in time.
~Don't get any other animals before the 2nd chapter; it's kinda a waste of time.

Although you have to marry by the end of the year I think people would like to marry the girl of their choice.Celia the best one to marry in my opinion to marry her in summer in the first year simply give her a goddess moondrop everyday until summer first when the harvest spirtes find the blue feather go propose if her diary located in her bedroom has 4 hearts on she will say yes!.Muffy or Molly give her any flower a pretty ore or a Big Huechep found at the digging site river top only that she will not accept others. Nami give her artifacts and in the fall give her trick blue flowers although she is a bit busy with hippy dude.Hope you found this helpful

My brother even said the graphics rule, but thats not the only thing that rules! The game layout and story line makes it so fun! Im a girl, but hey, I play as a guy, that would be even cooler that some day, they made a Harvest Moon so you could play as both! Like Poke`mon Ruby and Sapphire, ya know? LoL. I to have every Harvest Moon Game for all the consuls, my favorite out of all of them would probobly Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, but if im not mistaken, you guys have the english version, I have the japanese version, but its the same, LoL

Alot of People find this game amazing an SO among them!Here are some tips for healthy animals and relationships: To get golden wool wash and brush your sheep EVERY day. To wash the sheep push it over to the water in the pasture and get your brush out and press the Y button. Keep your female cows VERY healthy. they are the biggest money-making animals because they can be milked twice a day. if you keep your first cow healthy you will get a horse for free during the summer. If you're going to buy another cow at the very begining I suggest a female. if you keep a male and female cow in the barn the girl can have a calf. The cow then stops giving milk 40 days after the calf is born so be careful... If you get a chicken it can go out in the pasture also and 1 chicken feed can last 1 chicken almost a season. note: when you ring the bell for all the animals to go outside. You have to carry the chicken outside because it doess not listen to the bell. Healthy chickens lay and egg a day. There are 10-11 days in a season. Cut all the grass in the pasture, (dont worry all the animals will still eat)Then do your buissness and then cut all the grass the next day too. Do this 2-3 days before van comes and sets up his shop, then put 99 pieces of fodder in your rucksack. Van will buy EVERY THING so give him the 99 pieces of fodder for 990 G. Wow! I'll tell you, I have played some role-playing games in my time, but this by far is the most entertaining. I actually have only had this game since the 12th, and I play it so much I am already in the fourth year! I find it hard to buy game that can keep my attention, and this outstanding little game had me fascinated when I only looked at the cover. The one thing I really like is the way the 'people' have been created. They are so cute! But in a way they do have some flaws. I have never seen a person walk around in winter wearing skirts and shorts. And I never thought that there were ten days in each season. So, that took off some points. But other than that, I feel that this game deserves a big thumbs up.

This is the best game I ever played!!!I mean I thought Harvest Moon
BTN was great but Wow They made A truely Incredible game. I bought a gamecube just to play this 1 game.The graphics are great, the storyline is great.I don't thing they can make a better game. Several kinds of cows, Bulls,Roosters,Chickens,Goats, and I think you can get ducks, 2 dogs to choose from, A horse(really usefull when you need to do things quickly. You can plant fruit trees.This game is almost 100% percent like farming.You need to fertilize your fields. But at one part that Mad Scientist is looking in your house. He is crazy. I wan't to shoot him for that, but I can't... I
mean what kind of lame ass farmer dosen't own A shot gun. Anyway
i don't like the hame any less for that but man that guy is creepy.I had a kid before and I picked him up. My friend said man put him down he is getting ready to cry. I pressed the wrong button and through him in the air. He got mad cried and ran inside.Then I really wanted a shotgun. Well I spent too long on here bye.

Just to start out with I'm a HUGE HM fan, and always will be. I'm not a farmer or anything, but I love HM. I haven't got this game yet, hell, I don't even have Gamecube yet, but I will be getting one. My mum promised me she would buy a game, this will be the game, and I have 185.50 dollars in my account, I'll use that to buy a Gamecube. I can't wait, right now I'm trying to beat Save the Homeland, which is somewhat boring in my opinion, but just from reading these reviews, I promise Natusume that I'll do anything to buy A WWonderful Life! From the sounds of it you can have a baby boy, which I'm going to name, Seto, and my main character i'm going to naem Ash, which is after me. Also it sounds like there is a HUGE selection between livestock and crops. Well done, Natsume, you just triggered my loving even more. You should be proud and never give up on these games, you truly did it this time. Everybody loves it, and they should. Enjoy, everybody.

when my friend first got this game i thought it was sooo lame! i used to make fun of him when he was playing. i would say stuff like "Having fun watering those plants?". then i finally tried it... omg i was hooked! you really need to at least rent this game but you wont have nearly enough time to play it to its max in just 2 or 5 days. This game stays interesting all the way to the end unlike other harvest moon games. ive been playing this game for 5 or 6 weeks and im still hooked!

Harvest Moon a Wonderful life is one of the most real Harvest Moon games ever! In this game your son will age and you will age. When he gets older your son may get a job and inherit the farm. This game is also completely different from other Harvest Moon games. You have a choice of three girls: Nami(hardest), Muffy(second Hardest), and Celia(easiest). Harvest Moon a Wonderful Life has new characters, a new town, and a totally new farming expirience. It is one of my favorite games ever!

I have waited over A YEAR 4 this game i just got it today. And I got to say IT IS GREAT!!!!!! I mean the only wak thing is that the preveiws said that the seasons were only 10 days:( But your son can GROW UP!!!! I have harvest moon 64 and in that game your son couldm't grow up. I mean after 10 years your son is still a baby. Another thing that upset me is that the game was only 30 years long. But they have freemode. A mode When you never age^_^ All i want to say is whoever is reading this.........BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.K. I'm a girl so if you think it weird that I have a game where your a boy and have to marry a girl befor the first year is over, well think again! This game rocks out loud! I married Muffy But I really hate her (I don't like my son now eather 'cause he wants to be an artest and he won't let me hold him)I'm in the end of the 4th year and have a dog, a cat, a star cow, a normal cow, a marble cow, a hores, 5 chickens, a rooster, 2 ducks and a horse. If you're looking for a cool game then this is a cool game that last a real long time. I love it!

You have to get this game, it is the best and will never end, just as you think it is going to get borin...pop... Celia(the best in my opinion) asks you on a date or a mad scientist tries to steal your cows. The graphics and music combined with their activity are to die for, to die for (seriously) and, i took ne look at the others and was bored but this made me a serious fan, pay the money, worth every penny and for £30.00 to grow crops, milk cows and pick your own wife by giving her fresh picked flowers that may be magic. One last comment, it is the best game ever!
