when my friend first got this game i thought it was sooo lame! i used to make fun of him when he was playing. i would say stuff like "Having fun watering those plants?". then i finally tried it... omg i was hooked! you really need to at least rent this game but you wont have nearly enough time to play it to its max in just 2 or 5 days. This game stays interesting all the way to the end unlike other harvest moon games. ive been playing this game for 5 or 6 weeks and im still hooked!

This has got to be, by far, the best game in the Harvest Moon series. There are a couple of reasons why I believe this to be true!
First off, you live out your entire life on the farm. Your life can only be as good or as bad as you make it. You have a choice of three girls to marry, all with equally interesting personalities and pasts, and depending on which girl you marry, you will have a child who you will grow up and take over the farm, should you influence the child to do so! Taking over the farm isn't the only thing your child can do for a living. There are up to six different career paths that your child can end up doing based on how you raise him.
Another interesting feature of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life are the Hybrid Crops. Once you befriend the plan Tartan, you will be able to mix different crops for interesting results. Never before could you have done that in a Harvest Moon game, and hybridizing in this game will be the only way you'll be able to rake more money in from farming. Also, trees are featured in this game as well, and as long as you water and care for the tree until it's fully grown, it will yield crops for you once a year.
Taking care of cows might be a bit more tedious and involved than in previous games, but that's a part of the challenge for me, personally. The different breeds of cow that you have to choose from in this game also determine the type of milk you'll get from the cow, and factors such as caring for the cow will determine the qualitiy. There are also new animals in this version of Harvest Moon, including the goat (which I will not get into here, because I hate that thing) and ducks. You can also choose your dog in the beginning of the game, and if you're friends with certain villagers, you'll even get a cat and a chiuaha.
All this, including new buildings to make on the farm, as well as the many, many different characters to interact with and all the different ways your game could end... Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is probably by far the best in the entire series. You live life the way you want to. And you will only have an ending as good as the life that you lead.

I think Harvest moon is awesome it is a very realistic and you can raise animals and get married.I kinda dont like the fact that you only have three choices on who to get married too.i think Nami is the coolest of your three choices and Celia is second and then last but not least Muffy,In this game you can also have a kid and he grows up and you grow older your son can help out in the farm too.I think everyone would probably like this game.I think harvest moon a wonderful life is a great game!

I like the game harvest moon, but I have a question.How long do you have to be engauged until you marry one of the potental wives.Anyway , this game is the best game in the whole UNIVERSE!!I play it every day.To answer one of the other persons questions , the way you get a duck is to build a pond that costs 2,500.All in all this game is TOTALY AWESOME !!!!!

OMG!! I luv this game!!! I got it about a week after it came out in stores. The graphics r fantastic and soo realistic. I am a girl so i luv da way the character's hair is spikey. The only problem is that da music aint so great, like u dont have alot of choices besides summer and winter music. Another downside is that u acually have 2 wait 4 them dumb cows 2 wake up before u can do anything with them. U also can only have a boy but i'd like it better if u could have a gurl. And u can only have male sheep and i hate that. But other than dat, everything else is kewl. The characters r really cute especially the little babies. In my opinion, as babies, Nami's child is the cutest, then muffy's, then celia's. But wen the babies become adults, nami's kid is cutest, then celia's, then muffy's. 4 my character's wife, i'm choosing Nami, cuz i llluuuuvvv red head's!!!! Plus i like Nami's tough attitude.

I personally think that harvest Moon, a wonderful life, is the coolest game on the face of the Earth! Especilly when you marry Celia, because she helps around the farm, and your son is really cute! Also, your son grows up, and you get additions on the house, just like in real life. I've had this game for like 2 weeks, and i've played like everyday! Some helpful tips....get a seed maker, and plant grapes and peaches, and then sell the seeds you get from it to van.... you make a HUGE profit. Ive hade like almost 100,000g from selling apple and orange seeds to him. HARVEST MOON IS THE BEST!!!!

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life is the BEST game EVER. It is so realistic! It has much more things than any other Harvest Moon game has. I just don't like that there is only three girls to choose from (Celia, Muffy, and Nami). Here are some tips... Nami is the hardest to get to marry you, Celia is the second hardest, and Muffy is the easiest. The bigest field is the most fertile. To get a duck you need to wait till after the summer of your second year and can't have six chickens/roosters in your chicken coop. Then the duck will come. Thats all you will have to figure out the rest on your own. This game is the best SO GO BUY IT.................

This game has every thing....a wife, a kid, great graphics, great EVERYTHING!!!!I think that the Natsume should keep making Harvest Moon games just like this. The only thing i was a bit upset with is the number of potential wifes (3).

Harvest Moon a Wonderful life is one of the most real Harvest Moon games ever! In this game your son will age and you will age. When he gets older your son may get a job and inherit the farm. This game is also completely different from other Harvest Moon games. You have a choice of three girls: Nami(hardest), Muffy(second Hardest), and Celia(easiest). Harvest Moon a Wonderful Life has new characters, a new town, and a totally new farming expirience. It is one of my favorite games ever!

I got Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life the day it came out in stores (in the U.S.A that is) and I tell it is one of the BEST Harvest Moon games and one of the BEST GAMES I have ever played. My brother married Celia and I married Muffy. In my opinion Nami is the hardest to get, Celia is the second hardest, and Muffy is the easiestto get to marry you. Me and my brother both have baby boys who will age along with our characters. I have a barn full of animals and alot of Chickens and Roosters. I still want to know how to get a Duck? Oh and how do you get that locked shack by the Big Field open? Here is some pointers. The two smaller fields on each side of the Chicken Coop are best for trees (you can buy the seeds at Vestas farm) and the big field is best for regular plants. If you want to wash your cows, bulls, sheep, Goat (you can get a goat from Van the salesman after your married), and etc you need to have them by the lonf water filled thing in the pasture, then get out your brush and the y button should say wash. Oh and feed your Dog every day. I don't want to tell you everything cause I think you should figure the rest out yourself. If you don't have this Game and you are reading this than GO BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has GREAT grafics and is REALY realistic!

In this game you can get married and have a child. The child can grow up and work on the farm or inherit a different job depending on your neighbors. Raise a variety of anmimal from horses to ducks. This game has everything, a gamer needs. Go get this game!

This game is sooo cool. The wife is awesome(Muffy) and it is sooo relaistic. I am glad you guys added the marring and having the kid part. This is such an awesome game and I recommend it to all. This is a game that you have to get it. This game has cool grafics with awesome gameplay. I cant get off of it. I am sooo glad that the gae is long tooo and not the 5 min type of games.

I've been waiting a year or more for this game to finally come out in the us, and i still couldnt even find it in stores! So i had to order it online.. Any way when i played the game..the graphics were excellent and the story layout was great.. It is more realisic then any other game i have ever played..You can have a son that actully grows up and helps you on the farm..you could be playing this game not stop for hours and hours... thats how fun it is .. it also divides into 6 chapters spanning 30 years..if you dont have this game.. go to the store or order it online asap..hoped it helped.. iight one love payce

My brother even said the graphics rule, but thats not the only thing that rules! The game layout and story line makes it so fun! Im a girl, but hey, I play as a guy, that would be even cooler that some day, they made a Harvest Moon so you could play as both! Like Poke`mon Ruby and Sapphire, ya know? LoL. I to have every Harvest Moon Game for all the consuls, my favorite out of all of them would probobly Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, but if im not mistaken, you guys have the english version, I have the japanese version, but its the same, LoL

I just got the game yesterday, and it is my favorite. your son can grow up, you get to choose your wife, (may I add that Nami is awesome and se..... i mean cool) This is probbly the best game ever. There are so many fun activities other than farming that you can do. I only regret that the time of each day and season is slightly short. Otherwise, everything else is perfect!!!

I have waited over A YEAR 4 this game i just got it today. And I got to say IT IS GREAT!!!!!! I mean the only wak thing is that the preveiws said that the seasons were only 10 days:( But your son can GROW UP!!!! I have harvest moon 64 and in that game your son couldm't grow up. I mean after 10 years your son is still a baby. Another thing that upset me is that the game was only 30 years long. But they have freemode. A mode When you never age^_^ All i want to say is whoever is reading this.........BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
