Sonic heroes review from an experienced player |

Sonic heroes is a great game for the gamers who love adventure. (I should know!) I got this game three days ago and I know quite a bit. (This is a spoiler!) There are four teams with Chaotix being eaisiest, Team Sonic being at a low level of hard, and Team Dark being only for an extremely experienced player! Like me! Each team starts out on the beach level, and all levels after that go in this order, Grand metropolis, Power plant, Casino level, Bingo highway, Rail canyon, Bullet station, Haunted level, Mystic mansion, Frog level, lost jungle, Egg fleet, Final fortress. (In team dark or team sonic you may have to fight metal sonic after Final Fortress) I personally have only beaten team rose. Amy wants to marry sonic so badly that she goes into combat with team sonic after the power plant level. I am 67 percent done in team sonic and 79 percent done in team dark. Sonic heroes is a great overall game. It is definately only for gamers who have experience with the sonic the hedgehog type gameplay. A fun thing you can do is go solo! A thing i made up. In battle mode, (for 2-player) let the other team attack all players on your team exept one and you can go solo! Another neat thing in this game is that the 2-player mode is very upgraded with a bobsled race, ring dash race, quick race, race, battle, special stage, and others! The graphics in the game are like in SA2, but in the movie i woild give it a 100! The graphics are awsome, movie or the acctual game. The sound is good two. But Tails' voice has changed dramatically. He sounds more like a nine year old than ever! Sonic and Knuckles' voices are the same. Shadow's voice is only slightly changed. So is bigs'. Teh gameplay is very fast. You can run much faster than the old games. Much faster! Your lifespan is only slightly changed. The funfacter is very high. I would give it a 100 out of 100. The originality is very changed because of the new team gameplay. You don't get as much lives and there is no chao or omochao. (The only real dissapointment) The value is the same. Tha 13 year ole blue blurr- has returned indeed! This game is pretty tough. (team dark consisting of Shadow, Rogue, and final E-series robot, Omega.) Tight and full of awesome graphics and gameplay- reccomended for people who are familiar with Sonic and love adventure games. I purchase dis game tha 3rd day from when it was released and beat it in 3 dayz. power plant(stage4)with team dark was pretty challenging but thats whats so interesting bout it. Over all it was a game that'll nevah get old but what happened to the spin dash? oh well tight!Go on Sonic and Shadow!!! Sound is cool and could get you dancing(But not as much as in SAB2)yet lacks titles-oh well tight lyrics though(into music{{{{}}}).The lifespan of the game is breathtaking! Huge backgrounds and all of the detailed "special effects" can make you feel as if some o that snow like flakes(in level 1)is actually kissing your cheek! Overall so wondrous and magnificent, you could practically get lost! This game is really fun and entertaining and I'll Tell you why. 1st, 3 stooges(I call em that cause even if you die they'll follow you) hang out with you so you can rest knowing you got homies on your side. 2p modes are really cool yet in need of more level besides 3. I got 81 emblems and it took pure concentration to earn one o these winged jewels. But its fun with team chaotix- that bee(Charmy)really cracks me up!!! Its yet another sonic masterpiece. I'm really glad Espio, Vector, and charmy are back from Knuckles Chaotix for the SNES. Its been quite a while- whoops sorry, getting off tha subject. I give this game a 9 outta 10 for the Nintendo Gamecube(neat system-nintendo all tha way!!) for graphics,gameplay,and durability-yet sonic lacks sped dashes and why is'nt there chao gardens. Well the chao gardens were for beginners who wanted to get away from all the action but overall- good game and its totally worth your money. Oh and Sonic..... stay blue and true-peace.

Ever since it was mentioned in August, I had wanted this game. Just by the looks of it I knew it would be better than the previous 3D Sonic games. For some reason I get enjoyment from holding the joystick forward. When I got Sonic Heroes, I could tell a big difference from the somehow failed Adventure series. I mean I liked both Adventure's, the music was incredible, the stories were good, and the characters were cool (except Omachao,who makes a cameo appearence in here). But one thing that bugs me and continues to in Heroes, is (mostly) bad voices and cheesy quotes. I've gotten so tired from hearing Sonic say "Let's show him the real power of teamwork!" The characters however are cool and some cooler than before. One complaint is that the normal game graphics still look like a Dreamcast port. But it was a good idea to make all the cut-scenes with computer. Another good thing is the return of Metal Sonic, a classic villain. The music is 10 times as good as the previous games. The theme song is really catchy as is the final battle music. Team Dark's theme is awesome. Team Sonic's is catchy, but not great. Team Rose's isn't very good. Team Chaotix's is crap, except for the background music. The story is a little strange and introductions are short, so most of the time you have no idea what's going on. Now for the difficulty. Team Rose is beatable in under 30 minutes, Team Chaotix can be beat in a rental, Team Sonic and Team Dark must be bought to beat, or else, renewed like 20 times because, THEY'RE REALLY FRICKIN HARD!!! The levels are expanded and last for like 10 minutes. So go out and buy this improved, near flawless all system game (not the PS2 version) and God Speed on Team Dark's levels.

i bought sonic heros the day it came out as i had all the other sonic gamecube games. and this one had by far the best graphics. the gameplay isnt as fun in my opinion as sonic adenture 2 battle. and you cant hear japanese audio for all you anime fans but they have new voices since the last games some from the tv show so there alot better. the gameplay is fun but switching takes some getting used to./ id prefer 1 character but i have to admit this isnt that bad. you can choose from for teams. team sonic (sonic tails knuckles) team amy (amy cheese big the cat) team dark(rouge shadow e-123 omega) and some new characters in team chaotix(espio vector charmey) each team has one speed character one fly and one power. you will need to use all three to beat doctor eggman and metal sonic.(i think metal sonics in it he was in the intro and book) another down side is no more chaos although cheese follows cream. and theres not as much plot as the previous dreamcast/gamecube games. aka theres not much story you know the ones before and after levels. and spindash is not really spindash anymore!!!! all in all i give it an 8 for know japanese audio tedious gameplay and lack of plot. but 8 out of 10 isnt bad at all i mean these graphics are awsome. i really recomend this game. youve come along way sonic happy happy 13th birthday!

This game is one kickin ride^^,You won't beat it in one day that's fur shur.The graphics are awsome there more cartoonish than Sonic's other games.Even though you controle 3 character's at once the game play doesn't feel slowed down which is a good thing^^.The sound is okay,but SA2/SA2B had better sound.The story mode is more fun than 2P mode cause you only get 3 stages to choose from:.Another thing I didn't like was the fact Knuckles can't climb up walls~_~ and Sonic/Shadow can't do a spin dash, it's more like the roll attack in in Sonic The Hedgehog (1991),which is why I gave this game a 9 instead of a 10,but you'll get used to it.Also I'm sooooo happy The Ultimate Lifeform Shadow is back;)Shadow in my opinion is way cooler than Sonic,but thats just me so don't take it personally.The game is pretty fun,but take my advice don't play Team Dark if your a begginer cause there missions are the most difficult of the 4 teams.Team Dark is also my fav team.I can easily see my self playin' this until Sege releases another sonic game.The concept of this game is very original,so it's worth buying, 9 out 10.Nuff said

Sonic Heroes Rocks! i would give this game a 99% out of 100% becaude the spin is'nt the same there are 4 teams to pick from sonic team w/(Knuckles,Sonic,and,and Tails) the Dark team w/(Shadow,Rouge,and E-123 Omega) team Rose w/(Amy,Cheese,and Big) and the new character team the Chaotix team has (Invisible guy,Gator,and Bee) *I really don't remember their names right now* starting from expert to newbie teams 1stDark,2ndCahotix,3rd Sonic,and 4thRose my favorite team as usually eveyone likes is the Dark team because of Shadow because he is like sonic but with black/red hair and instead of regular silk shoes he has hover skates that make him faster than Sonic (my 2nd favorite person) and my 3rd favorite is Knuckles because i like when u hit b Sonic and Tails become balls hit b 3-5 times and Knuckles will have at least 25 fireballs come from above (*My favorite speed charachter is Shadow Fly Tails And Power Knuckles i have gotten pretty far on Rose and Dark but im stuck on Sonic team and i havent played with the Chaotix very much but im not very good with them well if you liked my reveiw send some mail to nightcrawlerjosh< remove me > at yahoo.com

I personally think Sonic Heroes is one of the best Sonic games yet. Athough Sonic Battle 2 comes reeeeeeaaaally close. I'm really disapointed about no training choas though and thats why i give it a 9 out of 10. Another factor is that you can beat the game in about a week! Other than that, this game is awesome. I am a total Shadow fan and I'm glad he's back along with the ultimate bot Omega! I've only beaten Rose personally but if your thinking of doing Dark right away, forget it!!! It's way harder than the rest of the teams. The 2 player battle is really great. It has tons of different games like bobsled, ring race, race, battle and even more. The graphics in this game are the best i'ves seen! the cinemas and the gameplay are both better when it comes to graphics than any other Sonic game. So to sum it up Sonic Heroes is great exept for no chaos and too short. It gets a 9 out of 10!

I don't need E mailed anymore. Ifigured it out right after I put in a review. I don't play it much anymore but I still wat to help. I figured out that you just had to press right, after Team Chaotix (pretty stupid of me.) If you want to get all "A" ranks, you might need an Action Replay. Anyway, I heard you can get a secret team called Team Metal. It has Metal Sonic,Dr.Eggman, and Chaos Zero is back with them. You have to get all the Emblems. People say there are 141 Emblems but I have 120 Emblems, have all 'A' Ranks, have beaten the game, and have beaten Hard Mode (to get Hard Mode you have to beat the game with all "A"s.) Two of my friends are also sonic fans but they only have Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (with the chaos) (I love the chaos.) In my last sentence I'm going to say:.....THIS GAME IS AWSOME!!!! See you next time.....

Sonic Heroes is soooo cool. I could actually buy since it came out on Playstation 2. Even thought I dont I want it to come out on xbox (xbox is weak) i did anyway. Omega is tight and so is Shadow even though it makes no sense on how they came to be on a team or even lived. It is weird because at the end of sonic adventures one you see sonic, tails, and knukles standing together in the same form as sonic heroes. Metal sonic was a good touch in being the last boss though i dont get how he lived passed the first game. It was also a nice touch in giving him chaos contro even though he is just a robot. Team Chaotix are the biggest cheaters in the world. In example espio turning invisible and their team blast automatically up after using because of rings. Its about time that eggman or robotnik got what he deserved.

I love this game! This game is awsome to play. I would come home from school and play this game for hours. The reason I love this game so much is because it's a long game. I have almost all the emblems. OK, heres why I need help. I want to get the final story mode but for some reason I can't. At the end of the game with a team, it says try another team. So I beat the game with every team, and then it says get all the chaos emeralds. So I did that then it says defeat final evil and that's when your suposed to get the final story mode. I didn't get the final story mode. I tried over and over but it wouldn't work. I'm wondering if I have a small virus but I'm not sure. pleeeaaase help me!! I really want to fight Metal Sonic!!! (P.S. I have an Action Replay if that may help.)

I think that the game was cool, I mean it was fun but hard. The best thing about the game is the speedy courses. I think that the only if hard part in the game is the enviroment. The bosses are pretty easy, except the last one.Metal Sonic is awesome, I think it rocks that they put him back to the games. It just makes it classic, chaos is the first villain in SA1, shadow is the second in SA2, and this is like an adventure 3 with metal.I still dont like the game completely because they always make the bad guy lose, and not from sonic himself like in sonic adventure, but from a team. It truly shows that metal sonic is just plain better than all other villains.Anyway, the game is cool and all, out of a scale of 1-5 here are ramkings: Graphics 4, Audio 4, Controls 4 1/2, Story 3.

This game is the best sonic game ever made. The story line is ok but kinda weird.The graphics are awsome better than sonic dx cut.The bosses wernt as i expected. Two of them all you do is fight a bunch of robots.I dont like the fact that you have to get all the chaos emralds to fight the secret boss metal maniac.
I like the way there is like 7 2 player modes thats cool.The idea of playing with 3 people to me is a bad idea.They should of had just 12 seperat charecters.The biggest problem is that you cant raise chao :( It doesnt bother me because i have every sonic game from game gear to sega to dreamcast to game boy advance and to gamecube...

This one is outstanding!I really like using team blast on Eggman.Better then any other sonic game.This sonic game is the best out of about 41 sonic games.Sonic team has really outdone themselves this time!I`m not saying other sonic games are trash its just this game gave me a whole new experience(New characters,Fun levels,Playing as a team,New powers). I would say the graphics are not bad. Sound effects are excellent! I like to use Sonic because when your trying to beat a boss or team you just press A rapidly. I am an ultimate player.I think team sonic or team dark are the best.As of team rose and team chaotix are down in the dumps.If people don't like it then "Get used to it! You bought it you keep it!" I`m a great sonic fan.I will continue to be one forever.

Sonic heroes rules! Its great that you can control 3 characters and the music rocks. Theme of team dark is my fav! Shadow and Knuckles are my fav characters and i love that Shadow is back after the sonic adventure 2 thing cos shadow was my fav character he is sooo cool. Well im not that good at this game cos i have only completed team rose + team dark is sooo hard!! What happens with Shadow cos i know he lost his memory and stuff. Well the graphics are great and the gameplay is good. i think its hard but im not that good at playing sonic games even though they are my 2nd fav. So i really want to know what happens with shadow so could someone please email me 2 tell me or something? Overall the graphics are good the music is good and the gameplay is good.

This game rocks i love the batlle systems great the graphics r fine and the action is emence but the only thing that bugs me is the emerald challenges they r very annoying to me I've beaten every bodys story and got every emerald except ONE!!! I've literrally tried 137 times....... trust me i counted Its the yellow one i keep having trouble because the characters keep going on the walls unententionally ITS FREAKIN' ANNOYING if you can help please do but other than that the game awesome im one of the biggest sonic fans you will ever meet Cause I've basically played and beaten every sonic game their is and i still have my genesis with all the sonics for it too and i probablly never give up my genesis eather thats all i really have to say .!.!.!!!

This is the 2ed to best sonic game they came out with...but what really sucks is...no chao It would have made the game a wee bit better...I mean chao Kiddish I know...But hey...I Think shadow should have been a bad guy!!!I personly perfere the game to be a little less difficult, but outside of everything this game is worth buying!!!Sa2b was a MY FAVORITE but. Anyway rouge was better in sa2b in this game she does not look as good as she did in sa2b, How come there are no chao in this game please awnser me this...it would be very helpfull...BECAUSE I WAS BETTER THAN ANYONE AT TAKING CARE OF CHAO...no offence...I play to many hours of sonic...prolly 7-8 hours a day...i LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH...BUY IT NOW!!!!!!

This game is cool but very hard so far I've beaten the game wtih only 2 teams team sonic,and team rose. I got this game the day it came out and finished my first story that same day I think that its better to beat the game with team rose first because its the easyest of em but if you want a challenge try team dark which is reelly hard and so is sonic's. I gave this game 10 outta 10 stars and think this is the best sonic game so far also to get final story get the seven chaos emeralds that are hidden in every two stages its tough to even get one! good luck!!!!

I finally beat the game and boy was that a game, I haven't played a game like that since metroid prime, it was alot of fun and i finally beat it. This game would have been absolutly perfect of it wasn't missing one thing....power ups, and i mean iteam power ups, that would have been unbelievable but it didn't have any. Games like these don't come out offen. i love this game and i hope all of you will love it to, ow and one more thing.
Eggman is out there with a new evil plan, but is he the real enemy this time, play and find out.

This was a really cool game, but it is a shame to have to get all of the Chaos emralds in order to get to the final story. I cant get the last emrald, so i dont really know what the story is, but I think you have to battle that giant creepy sonic robot...(right?)I still am not sure who shadow really is, or why eggman was locked in that room, but i think it still has something to do with that robot... Dont you love triangle jump? It is the most awesomist thing in da world. So is homing attack. Shadow and knuckles are the best.Then Sonic.

This game is definitely the best Sonic game out there so far. I bought the game last week, and it is a real stretcher! The graphics are a total heaven, and the sound is awesome! The gameplay is maxed out, considering how you need to switch formations so often, and this is a game with a HUGE lifespan! For any Sonic fans, I recommend getting this one. Actual ratings below:
